Great location, spacious condo and great amenities

We had a great stay at the space. It was very spacious and comftorble, and will definatley stay here again

Nice place, great location, able to walk from place to Main Street, etc. Nicely furnished, nice deck. Quiet despite being a multi residential bldg. Underground parking garage.

Very clean and welcoming. Convenient location to the gondola and Main Street!

Place was great. Location can’t be beat. Would recommend to others and stay there again.

Our family includes 2 teen boys. This condo was perfect, 2 bed/ 2 bath. Full kitchen. Convenient ski locker. Didn't really need to drive once we parked in the parking garage upon arriving. Location was great, only 2 blocks/ easy walk to downtown. So could walk to restaurants, gift shops, rental places. Gondola to get up to ski lifts was right across street. Very comfortable and convenient.

The Vacassa general support number is USELESS! Any issue I called with just got noted with no one local getting back to me with any efficiency.
First day, got into room to find trash behind the couch, socket in master bedroom that didn't work, and both TVs in bedrooms unplugged.
Got worse the 2nd day, when I ended up locked out after dark as keys had been disabled by Mountain Thunder since it was a new month, yet no one had gotten me new ones. I was locked out for almost three hours as Mountain Thunder wouldn't give me new ones (even though they had them behind the counter) until someone local from Vacassa came up. Again, the general support number got me no where, but they wouldn't give me the local number (no idea why). To make it even worse, one supervisor said she'd help me and call back in 10 minutes, yet then she went home.
The local Vacassa manager is a nice guy but he was MIA for the 3 hours I had to sit around waiting to get back to my room, my belongings, and my vehicle!

We loved the location, everything about it was perfect for us and our two young children!

The condo was clean and comfortable. A little "off-season" so it was quiet and relaxing. Had the pool to ourselves! Had some trouble with the TV and text contact with management was prompt and helpful. Proximity to Main Street made for easy walking to meals and shopping.
We had a little trouble finding the office for the keys and conflicting info on what to do with the card keys on checkout. Minor issues.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Have stayed at another unit before which was also nice. Too bad the median wall is right at MTL entrance

Great property and experience. The location and amenities (pool) were the most important. Stayed in early August and while it has no AC, using the windows, provided fans, we were comfortable. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat
FYI: This property is managed by the company Vacasa.
Positives:
- Spacious
- Fantastic wrap around porch with updated furniture (not what was pictured)
- New/clean carpet
- New living room furniture (not what was pictured)
- Kitchen provided every possible utensil/pan
- Night lights for the "kids" room!
- Comfortable beds and pillows
- Facility updated and felt secure
- Laundry easy to access and free.
Downside:
- 6 day stay; one coffee pod.
- TV's were difficult to use/no smart TV options
- Living room chairs uncomfortable.
- Terrible water pressure.
- Responsibilities were unclear from the host
Examples:
- The check-out directions on-site had a different check-out time than the app.
- Where to leave the keys upon check out was unclear and differed; requested clarification and didn't receive clear guidance from the host
- Check-out instructions varied: Specifically one did not indicate stripping the sheets was necessary and one directed it be done
- Were given 2 keys, but check out guidance said we should have received 3 and that we'd be charged for any that weren't returned.
The confusion didn't impact our trip in a huge way, but it was frustrating.
We'd come back and, if we did, hopefully some of the kinks with the host are ironed out.

Twin beds were comfy & soft but the King in the master bedroom was hard & uncomfortable. We were also looking forward to a comfy recliner but there was none..only 2 very small stuffed side chairs. Not comfortable for relaxing. Also, there’s no A/C in any of the units. Opening windows helps but then there’s street noise & neighbor noise.
4.8
Excellent stay, convenient location, comfortable accommodations. There's nothing I would change, no complaints.
4.8
The condo was well equipped with towels, TP, cleaning supplies, everything we needed. The furniture and beds were good. Parking in the garage was great. The building is right next to the pool and two hot tubs. We just couldn’t think of any complaints. It was great!
4.8
Everything that we needed. Location, amenities and comfort.

My husband and two teenage children had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything you could want to make dinner and breakfast. Having a kitchen saves so much money. The location was the best. Right across the street from the gondola. You just take the tunnel from the condo. We walked to Main Street every night!!! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Also, the ski lockers were great. We had such a great time. We will defiantly stay here again.

Third time staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge. It’s a perfect location with a five minute walk to town. It’s a quick shuttle ride to ski and at the end of the day easy to ski back to the lodge. The condo has all the amenities and comfort we enjoy for a girls getaway. From ski lockers & hot tubs to the spacious condo stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking.

This property is walking distance from just about everything. It was the perfect size for our family of four and has everything we needed. We loved it.

The apartment was clean, roomy, beautifully furnished, and in a great location. Underground parking was a plus and easy to access.
Mountain Thunder has several buildings, and it would have been very helpful if we had been told when we checked in how the numbers were assigned to each apartment so we would know which building we were in. The Vacasa clerk couldn't be bothered with any details and gave us keys and told us to return them to their desk or pay a fine and sent us on our way.
We parked in the garage of Building 1, only to be unable to find our apartment number. We went to the lobby and were helped by one of the employees of Mountain Thunder who was courteous and directed us to the correct building.
He was apologetic about the service we had received and explained he was an employee of the resort, and not of the booking services and had heard many complaints of them from other renters.
When we got to the apartment in a different building, the parking permit which was promised to be in the apartment was not there. Since it was getting late, we didn't go to the Mountain Thunder office until morning. When we did, the clerk said we would need to go back to Vacasa desk in another part of town and get the permit. However, he felt sorry for us because of the shabby check-in process we had experienced, and gave us one anyway.
I realize the rates through VRBO/Vacasa were lower than those of the resort, but there was a hefty service fee...almost as much as the rental...and it left very bad taste in our mouths for ever renting throughb VRBO/Vacasa again.
In spite of the check-in, we enjoyed our first visit to Breckenridge.

Awesome location and very clean. Great pool area for families! Would recommend for either ski season or summer

Convenience of location, stocked kitchen, location of shared laundry facilities.

This property was extremely nice & clean. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to the restaurants & shops & there were also a few hiking trails nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Very nice corner unit appointed very well with all the essentials. Close to elevator & shared laundry. Construction along the main road and entrance was a drag but not really a big deal. Great location in Breck only about a block off of Main Street. We're already considering booking the same unit for next year!

This is a fabulous condo in an excellent location! We came to Breck for a late April ski/snowboard weekend (we wound up getting very lucky and got 18 inches of fresh powder while we were there!), and needed to stay close to the gondola since Peak 9 had just closed and the gondola was the only way to get up to the slopes. Just a short walk across the street and across the parking lot, and the gondola is right there! You can also ski/ride back right to the bottom of the complex at the end of the day and you’re just a few steps away from the condo. The check-in process was simple, but note that you do have to go to a separate location on the opposite end of Main St. to pick up/drop off your keys and parking pass… it’s not a big deal at all, but it’s just something you have to plan for when arriving/leaving. Condo was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, comfortable and plenty spacious for our group of four adults. The large porch was lovely, and I would imagine that in the warmer spring and summer months it would be a wonderful place to relax! Also a short walk to downtown for restaurants/shopping/bars at night, so again, location can’t be beat. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back!

The condo was perfect for my family of four. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was excellent as we were a five minute walk to the Breck Connect Gondola and skied back to the building via the 4 O’clock run. Walking to town was a breeze. I was very happy with everything and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location of this condo was great! Short walk through under-street tunnel to the gondola & very short walk off the ski run back to the condo at the end of the day. Garage parking & ski locker we're convenient. Beds were comfy. Nice setup of the bedrooms/bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. Pool & 2 hot tubs were very close & nice. Fitness center was decent, but wish it opened before 7am for early risers.

My only negative comment is that we could not leave the key cards in the room but had to drop them off at a different location and that is difficult when trying to catch a flight.
