About this house rental

This is a quaint little treehouse with two hammocks and two small beds. The two beds can be pushed together to make one. My daughters and I built this a couple of years ago. Spared no expense. It’s got an absolutely gorgeous porch, wooden trim, white oak flooring, and lots of windows. It Has a television and a great view of the sunset from the porch with two swinging chairs. Can’t wait for you to enjoy the space the way that we have. Bathroom is inside the main residence and shared with the residents.

Close to town and downtown restaurants. Owners live on property and provide 24/7 access to restroom and shower and laundry room.

Exactly as advertised! It's incredible how much they packed in the treehouse. A very fun place to stay for a couple nights. Very much a sense of childhood magic in getting to stay in the treehouse.

Cute small treehouse. The beds fold into chairs and it did get cold, but the space heater worked quick. Didn’t run into anyone going to the bathroom.

Not your everyday stay. It was uniquely fun to act like kids again. I would not recommend it for those with mobility issues. Old farts have nighttime issues. More than a short walk down the hall was a bit of a challenge for someone at age 74, but successfully accomplished. Combined with a visit to the national park, it was our most interesting of 13 park visits.

Needed a quick and easy overnight before hiking Black Canyon National Park, and this worked perfectly. Unique property with all the supplies and privacy needed for an overnight.

Adam and family were very generous with their space. As well as very knowledgeable about various different hike and restaurants around the area. We enjoyed the 2 night stay, and would definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

Loved the treehouse and sleeping in a comfortable space during the meteor showers among the hummingbirds and the sweets pups that would come say hello. Thank you for opening up your home as well so we could shower and take restroom breaks!

This was such a cute space and, most important to me is that I slept well. The WiFi was strong & reliable enough to allow me to work remotely without any disconnections. The hosts were very easy to reach & quick to respond when I had questions. I would stay here again when in the area.

Exactly as billed, it's a cozy little tree house! The yard is beautiful and everything is well kept. Two friendly pups came up to greet us in the tree when we arrived. The futon chairs fold out to make beds and there was just enough room for our stuff. The beds are firm. Overall a great experience

The treehouse is cute and cozy as advertised. Rainy weekend, so we did not get to enjoy the hammock chairs much. We didn’t have any interaction with hosts, but back door was left open for easy access to bathroom in main house. Fun experience for quick overnight stay in Montrose. Sleeping on the floor on foam bed/chair may not be ideal for all.

This was exactly what we expected. Great for a unique experience surrounded by beautiful mountain towns. Everything was conveniently located six mins away. And the drives to the popular towns were easy. I would recommend for anyone with an open mind and tolerance for small spaces.

The homeowners did a fantastic job of building and decorating this truly adorable tree house! They thought of everything. My sister and I loved it. I also loved their cute "greeting committee." The only glitch was that we clicked on the map on their listing to get directions and it automatically took us to some strangers house...and we entered the wrong backyard. We eventually got to the right place, but if this happens to multiple people, then those other homeowners might not be so happy with all of the trespassers. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend others do the same!

We are Montrose locals and just needed a little get away for the night. This was perfect! Great location,very clean and cozy. You definitely have to like the person you’re with, as it’s a pretty small space but it totally worked for us. The main house is adorable too, and we never even saw the residents.

Had a great time staying in the treehouse! Family was super accommodating and the house & treehouse were well maintained. The family does live there and you share the bathroom which made me feel like I was intruding but they were friendly and conversational so overall it was okay! 5 minute drive to town and 20 minute drive to the park, which was very convenient. Overall a very good stay!

My stay was one night and it was just as advertised, a unique stay in a well made tree house in their backyard. It is cozy even for one person but just what I was looking for as a unique and affordable sleeping option. The family was very nice and accommodating! I had storms the night I stayed and had no issues in the treehouse. Just be sure to remember to fold out the chairs to make a bed. Once you unfold them, the sleeping arrangement works well.

Such a quaint place to stay. Friendly host (and dog too!). Beautiful backyard. We really enjoyed our night in the treehouse. Would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice property. Landscaping was great. Lighting was good. My only issue was that I didn't discover that the bathroom was in the main house until after our reservation was confirmed. The homeowner was gracious and made me feel comfortable, so overall it was a fun adventure.

I can say the experience of sleeping in a treehouse at 42 years old was still pretty cool thank you to Adam and his family they were very nice and kind for letting us stand their backyard cool little spot

We booked this as a little getaway away from everyone and in a place (treehouse) that we have never experienced before. We loved it! Super cute and exactly what we wanted plus it was so quiet. Thank you for allowing us to crash and now we have some great memories camping out in a treehouse!

Let me start by saying this property is very much the coolest place I've stayed in ever! I came into town by myself on a holiday weekend. The prices of hotels in the area seemed daunting at best. So I looked for a cheaper option for a short stay in Montrose. When I arrived in town I had been driving all night! I contacted the owners and they made the treehouse readily available for me to crash out in the early AM. When I arrived at the property I was impressed. Not only is the treehouse absolutely cool. It's safe, clean and well maintained! The property also entails the use of the facilities in the main house. This can seem unpleasant to most, but they certainly accommodate well. The bathroom available for use is super clean, the shower was amazing and they provide don't basic toiletries to just simplify the situation. I knew that I would be camping as well as utilizing the property tentatively. So this was the absolute perfect option for me. I am more than pleased with the managers/owners and I highly recommend this treehouse to anybody that's in the market for something unique and utilitarian... My hats off to you guys! Very unique, Very impressive!!

What a cool space! Communication with our host was straightforward and helpful. The treehouse is amazing! So cool and easy to access. My partner and I stayed here after a busy day of adventuring in Mesa Verde National Park. It was nice to have our own space but be close to locals who can share advice and their home. Our hosts were friendly but not overly chatty, which was great after our full day. We were greeted by one of their very friendly dogs, and he even came to hang out with us on the patio of the tree house for a bit. The tree house is very unique and fantastically appointed. We enjoyed hearing the birds calling when we woke up and we’re getting ready. I definitely recommend!

Unique and fun place to stay in Montrose while visiting Black Canyon NP! Clean and comfortable accommodations. Shared shower was high tech. Will definitely recommend to others traveling through or to Montrose. Warm greeting by two friendly dogs when we got there.

Such a cool space and the hosts were super responsive. Shared bathroom was lovely. TV and mini fridge were helpful, too. Do keep in mind- it’s tiny - the beds definitely aren’t built for anybody tall- and there’s no way to lock it during the day, only when you’re in it.

This stay was perfect for a quick overnight on our roadtrip. The treehouse space had great amenities and was big enough for the two of us. The one caveat is that we're on the shorter side so as long as you're not too tall, you won't need to duck or worry about fitting on the fold-out beds. Overall, great stay!
