Everything was of a high standard and excellent value.

Good breakfast, cooked to order in an attractive conservatory. I was lent a phone charger

I knew breakfast was at the hotel, 8 mins walk away, butI didn't realise the Inn was locked up in the morning and there was no-one to ask directions.

Would have been better if breakfast was served on premises and we were given quieter room.

The food and surroundings in the pub are very good, as are the staff

Position of the room - ground floor next to where deliveries were made early morning and also next to entry door where guests left very early - from 3am presumably for the airport. Also you could hear people moving around and opening and closing drawers etc.

Excellent value for money epitomised by highest quality friendly and efficient staff

Breakfast did not start until 0800 which was too late so not taken. This was disappointing. But staff made other m arrangements which worked out very well. Evening food superb. Staff exemplary

Country pub with excellent food and extremely pleasant staff; excellent breakfast in beautiful Hall

Food at the Bay Horse very good quality. Breakfast at the Hall - excellent.

Would definitely come back again.

Room was comfortable and warm. Really nice evening meal, excellent breakfast and great service. The breakfast however was not served on the premises of The Bay Horse. Instead I was told to walk about 6 - 7 minutes down the road where it was served at their “sister property”.

The directions would have been improved if they had said that the “sister property “ was actually Goldsborough Hall! Beautiful location.

Quaint and peaceful village with lots of history ,stunning gardens at Goldsborough hall

Based in a very small village, really quiet , hidden gem with garden and extra area with tables for families . Room was very spacious , ultra mod cons, anything you need to make your stay a good one. Hairdryer, tea, coffee, posh coffee machine, air con and a humongous tv! Best of all the bathroom was to die for , I really need a shower in my life like the one in our room!!!! Digitally or Wi-Fi not sure but it was amazing. Food spot on ! Hats off to chef .. superb , my husband got chef special , oh wow a massive steak and pork pie , he couldn’t fault it! Thanks to front of house staff for making our stay, special thanks to the very cheery Debbie, you looked after us faultlessly ! Breakfast at sister property Goldsborough hall was out of this world, never tasted a breakfast so good, with so much to offer, really spoiled for choice , luxury at its finest

Needs a few tweaks but enjoyed the BBQ

I thiught it was very expensive £180 for a night the bar restaurant closes at 8pm, kitchen before 8pm so was lucky we brought the kids snacks and a drink as the whole place cloesd. our price didnt include breakfast and were told on check in we could purchase at the neighbouring hotel at £20pp our children are 6 and 12 so seemed a little extortionate. The pillows were terrible and only had two cups in our room it was a room for four people, we would have asked but the pub closed and no one to be seen. On check out again no one there so reluctantly had to leave our key in the room.

The room and setting was lovely and the breakfast was amazing and worth the visit for the location and experience

The staff at sister location where we had breakfast were accommodating and friendly There was not the same high level of welcome/customer service at the inn

Nice area of Yorkshire. Staff were excellent. Very clean and comfortable..would Highly recomend.

Breakfast available at the Hall next Door was very expensive...but theres a Weatherspoons in Knaresborough.

Stunning building, location and a warm welcome!

A wonderful reception by the staff on arrival. We particularly liked the relocation of the hotel, the superb building and the facilities. We do recommend you try the food too!

My room was very cold when I arrived but it was easy to quickly warm it with the heated AC unit. The staff were on hand here to support you with any needs or questions too, felt like home from home!

Excellent little find!!

Wonderful staff! Great food at dinner and some lovely touches to make it special! Bathroom was lovely. Amazing shower which is often something that is overlooked. With underfloor heating it would be a fantastic bathroom.

Some maintenance issues in the room (door closer/bedside light). Tried to report on checkout but contactless checkout. Easy to fix.
