We go to HAN annually and found were lucky to stay at Ginger's home nearby the Peppermill and all the events we visited over our 5 days. The home is clean and the beds were amazing! We had a wonderful time and will come back.

Our recent stay at this property marked our second visit, and once again, it surpassed our expectations. From the cozy furnishings to the tasteful decor, every detail adds to the overall ambiance, and we simply feel welcome. Cleanliness is always a top priority for us, especially when traveling with our family, and this property never disappoints in that regard. The property is just the right size for our family of four… lots of space is another highlight that keeps us coming back. With two energetic boys who crave their own space, renting the downstairs area provides them with the independence they desire while still being within arm's reach.
Communication with the property manager has always been seamless, adding to the convenience of our stay. Any questions or concerns were promptly addressed, allowing us to focus on enjoying our time without any worries…. Though we have never had any issues.
Our experiences at this property have consistently wonderful. It has become our go-to accommodation whenever we're in the area.

Wonderful location to all of Reno. We were 10 minutes away from Sparks Livestock Center. Comfy beds too!

The cottage was beautiful and quite charming. I would definitely recommend this home. The home came with everything you need. We visited this area in March when the weather was cold and snowy. The home was quite warm.
Thanks again for letting us stay here.

We were in Reno for the Air Races. 20 Min drive with traffic to Stead. Met our needs. We really enjoyed the deck and grilled almost every night. Neighborhoods quiet. Close to casinos, shopping and Reno airport. Our ony complaint is the downstairs bedroom that faces yard needs new blinds, otherwise, place we awesome.

The location was amazing. Located close enough to the airport but you couldn’t hear the airport. Everything was close to the cottage so very easy access. Clean home with plenty of room. Air conditioning was the only really noise with fear of water leaks. But don’t lest the AC deter you the stay was wonderful and the hostess was very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Clean, well kept older cottage plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this prperty. I think the only improvment that could be made would be installation of mini-split a/c units instead of the portables.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The deck was great.
The host was very responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend.

We rented the upper floor only, not the downstairs portion. Is an older home with improvements particularly kitchen and windows. Nice sunny back deck. No central AC but individual room AC provided. Is on a busy street but road noise quiets down at night. No clothes washer/dryer available. Is a good value.

The property was located in a great neighborhood. We were there for a youth sports tournament and it worked just right. We ended up not bringing our dog, which was good as I think she would have found the yard (and a big barker behind) disconcerting. But she is small!

This bungalow is so cute. It was very clean in communication with Ginger was easy to reach. We got stuck in a blizzard and she extended our stay when the roads home were closed. One problem is we rented this home when we were going to bring a dog. We did not end up, bringing a dog, which was fortunate because the backyard is not secure for dogs. That gate is about 2 feet high and did not close and part of the fence was crushed. It would have been difficult to safely let our dog in the yard.

From the outside pictures I wasn’t expecting the awesomeness we found inside. Ginger has curated this home to welcome families and friends alike. The rental came with tons of games, an awesome cozy space and very functional kitchen. The location is great! So close to the airport and the cute stores around plus down town shops and yummy eateries. We will be back next time we are in Reno for sure!!

The home is older so we did encounter issues trying to get the front bedroom warm, but after reaching out to the owner, the issue was solved. The listing says the upstairs sleeps 5 but their are only beds for 4. Being a light sleeper, the noise in the front bedroom and the headlight reflection made sleep difficult, but again the owner offered a solution. Overall the area is nice, felt safe and the home met our needs.

We came to town for a graduation at University of Reno… Our stay was convenient comfortable we would recommend it for both small groups and larger groups ample space

This house very very clean upon arrival and matched the description. The main living area was even nicer in person than the pictures show. We rented the basement as well to have some more space, however they recommended accessing the lower space by the outside so we didn’t end up using it as planned. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the nice neighborhood and proximity to downtown.

This was a perfect place to stay for the week. The location was extremely accessible and you truly cannot hear the road once you're inside the house. The house was equipped with everything we could have needed during this stay and was perfectly clean and neat.

The host is super responsive. The property was everything we needed! Hope to stay again next year.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was very warm during our stay so we slept with the 3 portable a/c units running all night, so we never heard the traffic from the busy street we were on. The back porch is awesome for grilling and eating outside. The beds were comfortable. We would consider staying here again in the future. It was a great home away from home for us. There are so many lakes within an hour drive, that was the best part for our fishing family.

We go to Hot August Nights every year and usually stay at a hotel. We decided to give VRBO a shot with this property and were not disappointed. It was so much nicer to stay in this home and enjoy family time as well as Hot August Nights. This year there was a couple of days that it rained so we stayed in and instead of being cramped in a hotel room, we had a nice home to enjoy time. The home was very clean and nice, the host was easy to access by text, and it was very close to most of the venues we wanted to visit. We will be returning next year if the property is available.

Family weekend
Great neighborhood and walkability to coffee shop and grocery store. Love the character of the home. Portable a/c units are great as it was close to 100. Clean, comfortable and loved the extra touches to welcome us.

Family Visit
The upstairs rental was very nice for what we needed, next time I will rent the whole house. Upstairs only has one bathroom, this was too combersome with trying to use the toilet or shower with two grown teen boys and parents. Lucky for us our extended family all live near by so we spent most of our time having access to multiple bathrooms. Lots of potential for a really great VRBO in the future.

Simply perfect
Our stay at this property was simply perfect. Not only it was convenient to our destination, the Reno Convention Center, but it was beautiful, quaint, clean and by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at with VRBO. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of everything including lots of spices, oil, plates, kitchen gadgets, posts, pans, a Keurig coffee maker… we didn’t have to worry about bringing or buying lots of extras. The rooms were great with plenty of space to store our personal stuff and the beds were comfortable. We decided to rent the bottom portion of the home to give our two kids extra room and privacy and they loved being downstairs, which included, living room area, an extra kitchen, and a fully equipped laundry room. Our kids enjoy the huge backyard, and we enjoy eating outside on the deck. The property manager was easy to reach via messaging, quick in responding, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Overall, our stay was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property when in Reno. Thank you, Ginger, we had a great stay! The De La Cruz Family

Location is convenient to the rest of Reno. Close to a lake and great walking trails in the area.
This is a home on a relatively busy street, but with easy access to the places we wanted to visit. We bought our dog and he enjoyed a few runs around the back yard.
When we had questions we were able to text the owner/manager and get quick answers.

Great central location!
Great older house. Yes, it is an older house, but the very convenient location to everything was great. Everything in the house worked well. Hosts were easy to get a hold of, responded quickly and were nice. I stayed 3 weeks as I was getting cancer treatment from the Forsythe Cancer Clinic. The cost was better than most of the hotels and I didn't have a 'next room over' neighbor who came in at 2 am. The home was cute and exactly what I needed for my stay. I would rent the home again if I needed to.

Nice Getaway - Nearby everything!
This property was clean and welcoming. The only thing I'd suggest is readjusting the bedframes as both had creaking when moving around. Very simple adjustments to complement the great stay!

Perfect and very nicely setup
We were in town for a dog show and this place worked out perfectly for us. We had a marvelous time and would recommend you not miss this cute well maintained home. Centrally located and a couple minutes drive to everything.

Nice
Some issues with the electrical outlets because it’s an old house but nothing we couldn’t make work. There is a king sized sleep number bed in the master. We loved the board games that were avail as well as the fully stocked kitchen. The home was in the perfect location for our stay and within walking distance of a Starbucks. While it sits on a busy road, we couldn’t hear street traffic in the home nor did it cause us any other troubles. The back porch is huge as is the back yard! We would stay here again on return trips. Thank you.
