Gestori accoglienti e gentili

Check-in was quick and uneventful. Our host offered me a complimentary cup of coffee. This is a true B&B and it has been elegantly furnished with wooden pieces coming from Gabon or Mali, which were collected by the landlord's father during his stay in Africa as a medical doctor. The quality of the rooms is quite high for a B&B and I was particularly pleased by their cleanliness as well as the sturdiness of the bathroom and the shower. It is pretty clear the owners have opted to spend more at the beginning to save less in the long run and the positive effects of such strategy do indeed show. Basically, although some features of the house are definitely rural, I have never had the impression of laying my hand upon something "cheap" or "cheaply built". Finally, the building where the B&B is located dates back 17th century and has an inner court where one can chill.
There is not much I can say negative about the location. Booking demands a longer comment, but I cannot really point at any specific fault during my stay. Therefore, I hope this comment is taken positively by the system.

The breakfast was very good. We even got to try the host's father's homemade apricot tart! The host, Luca, was great - he drove us to the bus station, and we sincerely hope to meet him again. Luca was always available for advice, travel tips or just a chat in the yard!

I stayed for 4 night in L'Aquila for a research event at the Gran Sasso Science Institute. The property is absolutely beautiful. My room was spacious and had an interesting interior design. The whole house is in fact very unique and located in the heart of the town - in the historical centre. The breakfast included a very good selection of Italian food. The owner and the entire staff are the nicest, warmest people you could possibly meet. I could not recommend more.
Nothing. I loved it and I will definitely be coming back.

The location is difficult to beat. The environment is a little homey, but your hosts are are very welcoming, extremely available and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable.
The room did not have air conditioning. Not that we needed it, but it is listed as an amenity in booking.com. Just a heads-up for those who like cozy temperature: L'Aquila's elevation is 2,350', the B&B's heating system is centralized and, with the current energy crisis, Italian laws allow for limited heating time and temperature setting, which means that your room may feel on the chilly side.

The B&B is well placed to visit L'Aquila. The B&B is cozy and with a small garden. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was freshly prepared every morning. The host (Luca) was very kind and welcoming, clearly loving to have guests around.

Almost everything. The managers were super nice and friendly, and the place had good access to everything. The house was clean and well-maintained. The architecture of the place was great, the garden offered a good sitting spot. Towels and toiletries were well provided.
The breakfast was really good but could have some more options, e.g., boiled eggs, peanut butter and toast (and salty things. everything was swet).

Luca , our host, was a lovely helpful and very kind person. The room and bathroom were very clean and the little garden very nice. The location was excellent in the historic center near the Piazza Duomo where restaurants are located. We had a very nice stay at this B& B: I recommend this place to everyone :)
A lot of streets were closed because of the restoration works and the accessibility was a bit difficult by car at first.

Everything- location, apartment, very nice owners - for example they treat us with fruits from their garden located in the heart of Old Town. Clean, nice breakfast and coffee.
If you need carpark, don't worry - you can leave the car on the street next to the property (free of charge).

Just middle of the wonderful L'Aquila! You can reach Duomo Plazza within minute where you can find a tons of restaurants, cafes and gelaterias.
Small but beautiful garden full of flowers, you will not believe you are in the city center.
Jut middle of L'Aquila!
Parking is hellish with all the works and closed streets.
I strongly recomend to park the car before getting into the centro storico.

The place is so beautiful and clean. The bedroom was huge, with everything you would need, even with a small refrigerator.
The host is a incredible kind person, that tries his best to give you an amazing stay.
And it is in the city center, about few steps from the main square. I can't complain about anything at all.

Bed was large and comfortable and the property was centrally located. Breakfast was excellent and host was very friendly.
The entire house is outfitted with vaguely "African themed" decor, which leaves a very uncomfortable atmosphere. The host's pet bird is kept in a very small cage and cries incessantly.

I was there for a conference and I was leaving pretty early to catch the bus. It was not possible to prepare that early the breakfast for me at that time. Luca (the host) was genuinely concerned about this. He was taking a lot of efforts to fix my breakfast at different bars. Of course, I could not manage to take the advantage as I was always in a hurry, for one reason or another. On the final day he managed to prepare breakfast for me. I was extremely sad, that I woke up late and did not manage to have it as my conference bus was about to leave. I had to rush. Nevertheless,, I was really touched by his hospitality and his phonecall to ask about my journey. In terms of cleanliness the stay was marvelous. I recommend. .
