We were told the house would sleep eight. We were not told someone would have to sleep on the sofa in order to sleep eight.

This is not a house it is a duplex. The listing is misleading. Thankfully the walls were fairly soundproof as there was a large group of people staying on the other side who were up having a good time til well past 2am. Also the beds were garbage. The worst, didn’t think a bed would make a difference but it was rough!
The location was great! The hot tub was good, jets weren’t very strong. I wouldn’t stay again but the location was very good

The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our stay. We truly enjoyed our time walking to the beach, cooking at the house, and relaxing with the family. The home had plenty of amenities and conveniences, which was greatly appreciated!

Great home in a wonderful location. The kids loved the hot tub!

First experience and it was terrible. The TV didn't work the beds were worn out as well as sheets and towels. Bike tires were flat. The house was not what we anticipated. I work hard all year and so look forward to our weekend stay and it was awful. Not worth the money.

Great place for any occasion

The kitchen was well stalked, maybe the games and bikes could be updated. Only one kid bike worked and most the games were missing pieces. Real nice BBQ!

We spent a week at this well appointed townhouse. Our time here was the best! Five adults, one infant, one child, and two dogs. Plenty of room for all! Beautiful beach, great restaurants, lots to see and do.

This was a great place to get away, even in the winter! There were 4 adults, 3 children, and one pooch in our group. Although it isn't ocean front, it's an easy/nice walk to the beach. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Fun family stay
Property was nice. It was great to bring our dog and have the hotub. The major downfalls were the beds. The master was okay not great but the rest of the beds were so uncomfortable. I would highly suggest about 3 new mattresses. We loved the location and would love to stay again but given the lack of sleep we'd definitely look elsewhere unfortunately. Also the back door would not lock and appeared broke. We had a fun time bur for the price and lack of sleep it was unfortunate.

Overall great
We really loved the house and how close the beach was. Our only complaint is the locks on the front door and the glass door was extremely difficult to lock and navigate.

Great Location!
Great house. Great location. The hot tub jets did not work. But still enjoyed the hot tub. I love that it had a lot of kid friendly activities. bikes, games, etc. overall 9/10.

Dunes
The house and neighborhood were great but the walk down and up the dune was a bit much. We would have liked a warning about that. Bathroom sinks had a drainage problem also. It was a nice getaway but we’ve had better beach access.

Beach getaway
The home is perfectly located for walking, bicycling or driving to all nearby beach activities. The hot tub was nice and clean. The kitchen was well equipped in every way. The beds were comfortable and linens nice. The only thing that was a bit misrepresented by the photos is that the furnishings are tired and need to be replaced to justify your price. We would certainly return if so.

Broken doors
Upon our arrival we discovered the front door handle was broken, then when we went to the back patio, we discovered the back double doors were broken as well. After opening and unlocking them, we were unable to actually close and lock them. Super fun to deal with......had to tie a rope around the back doors. I called the front desk and spent a stupid amount of time on hold to see if we could get this fixed, 4 different times. the first person I talked to was empathetic and said she would contact maintenance, I waited a couple hours with no update so I called again, the next person was much less helpful and just seemed irritated with me when I tried to get an eta on the repairs so I could plan my day and actually do things on my vacation knowing our belongings were safe while away. Finally a maintenance guys came, turns out the front door handle was installed upside down and the back door was missing the internal section so he was unable to fix it. there was a outdoor fire pit missing and they did replace that, so that's a win. This whole situation was waaaayyy to much of a hassle, and rather suspicious with a missing fire pit and doors that didnt lock/ close properly.

Girls trip getaway
Nice community, short walk up the path to get to the beach. The front door and lock was a bit tricky to figure out. Very clean, well decorated, appreciated a clean hot tub! Loved the stay here!

Duplex!!! No fire pit / fireplace broke
So the location was ok, the property was ok as well but just felt mid-lead.
We went with 6 adults wanting a beach house with fire pit, fire place, hot tub and nice back yard to hang out. The back yard is SMALL and picture makes it look large. It’s a Duplex NOT a beach house and there is nothing in the description about that. We got an email the day before arrival saying fire place was broken and they were hoping to get it fixed in time.
Upstairs king suite tv had no cable or DVD player or anything which made it useless. The vent in the stove took no smoke out so making food set the fire alarms off unless we left all the doors open and it was freezing cold. We as a group rent beach houses several times a year and we were all surprised by what we got. The location was good and if ur looking for a condo rather than a beach house I would say it’s ok. We were just very disappointed as since Covid started this was out first trip out together and to have so many things go wrong was upsetting

Great location
The location was awesome and the house had everything we needed. Only issue was when we arrived, the cleaners were still there. They were almost complete, so not a huge issue as we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Overall I would stay again.

Spacious and great location for a group
We spent some time away from our homes in Portland working remotely in Pacific City. This house had the fastest internet possible for people who work in the software industry. This house is indeed a duplex but nobody was next door while we were there, so it was quiet. Feels more like a house than a duplex.
Location: awesome, just about 5 minute walk through the neighborhood to the beach (cliff of sand). It's another mile or so down the beach to Pelican Brewery and the sand dune. Super safe and relatively quiet location. Note that the house backs up to the main road in Pacific City so in a busy season you might hear traffic.
House amenities: there are a ton of kitchen supplies, dishes, utensils, machines, etc. The house even has a Keurig machine for morning coffee. It does not have basics like ziploc bags, aluminum foil, tupperware, etc. Hot tub worked great. We did not use the firepit (not sure where there was firewood??), and the grill was usable but was very dirty, and so was the tool you're supposed to use to clean the grill. The fireplace is not working and should be noted in the house description (there was a sign on the fireplace, so it's been broken for awhile). ****The biggest problem we had was that the dishwasher did not work. Meredith said that this was not a known issue because there were no reports or it previously nor was there an existing work order for repairs. They were responsive when I called, however they did not come to repair it for the 3 days we were there. This was kind of a pain since we cooked all meals at the house and didn't expect to spend time doing dishes.
House: Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything seemed clean and up to Covid code. The king suite is very large and has an attached bath. The closet is locked though, so still had to use suitcase to live out of. The decor is outdated and the TV in the living room is super small but that didn't bother us since that's not why we were there. There are plenty of couch and chair space to sit and play games together in the living room or at the dining table.
Overall, we had a nice quick work-away-from-home stay with some fun coastal sunshine in February. We liked the house but hope that they can repair the issues with the fireplace and dishwasher and/or disclose them on the house listing. Thanks!

Relaxing house in a relaxing location
We really enjoyed Pacific City. The house had everything we needed. You can never get too many starfish. The hot tub was very clean and inviting. Short walk to an amazing Oregon coast beach. We will be back.

We had a wonderful Stay...
The home was great and perfect for the five of us. It was clean, cozy, and the hot tub was nice. The beach is a short walk from the home and the village is very nice with walking paths and ponds. We would love to come back in the summer too.

Wonderful stay
Comfortable duplex, we enjoyed the private hot tub outside and the short walks to the beach. Everything was great!

cute townhouse
we had to leave due to fires and so smokey, missed out on our last night. Beds need replaced - feeling springs through mattress and "fenced" yard is not fenced if you expect to have an enclosed area. The house in general is great and well stocked. Could use some fans or ceiling fans as windows could not open due to smoke but had to anyways at times too cool it down.

Nice layout but outdated style.
Clean quiet neighborhood in great location. Rental was clean except for old, stained sofas that should be trashed. Kitchen well stocked and beds were comfortable. Company was responsive when we called for technical advice for TV. Door locks difficult to work but doable.

Great family getaway
This place was nice and cozy, especially for a little family. Our favorite little beach town to visit any time of the year.

Great little coast getaway.
This house is extremely close to the beach which was so nice without getting all of the wind. The place was a perfect size for 6 people. Extremely clean and hot tub was in great condition. The door was difficult to figure out how to lock but overall cute little place.
