Wonderful, I plan to stay there again this year.

Location was well situated to explore the city and get to the train station on foot. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Shower was a bit too small for me.

Lovely place to stay

The hostess was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. She looked after us. The location was perfect. Within short walking distance of all the sites, trams, bars and restaurants.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Superb B&B in Nantes

Beautifully appointed B&B in a perfect location by the castle and an easy walk from the train station. Large, comfortable room. Kind and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with homemade jams and yoghurt, warm croissants, fruit and fresh bread each morning in the garden. A very relaxing stay.

terrific B&B in a beautiful city

we enjoyed talking to the Marie-Claire, the owner, who was a gold mine of information about Nantes and it’s history. the rooms were all pleasant, comfortable and modern while preserving their old world charm. parking in the courtyard was limited but available with advance notice and a little extra cost. breakfast was served family-style around the dining room table and the other guests were interesting to talk to. breakfast included home made yogurt and jams, fruit, croissants, coffee, etc. Marie-Claire has been running her B&B for a long time and she is a real “people person “. This was one of our nicest stays ever. Nantes was lovely, too, which added to the charm.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

You would be pushed to find a better property in the centre of Nantes.

The host was very helpful. The location was perfect for all local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were large and spotless and there was plenty to eat and drink at breakfast.

location excellent, room and property are chic and the garden is a calm and relaxing space. Breakfast was good, with lovely home-made touches. The host was very charming and helpful and went out of her way to ensure a good stay.

Very good location, perfect for someone who needs to stay close to the “Cité des Congrès”. The hostess is lovely and very welcoming, always willing to have a chat about the city. The room was calm, really comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast.

I have struggled a little bit with the Wi-Fi connection.

Super location, accommodations, host and petit dejeuner.

Lovely old home with beautiful garden on cobble-stoned street only a ten-minute walk from the train station. Lovely host shared great information on visiting Nantes and offered a sumptuous traditional French breakfast. Access to the gated property and main entrance was easy.

Wonderful stay! Close to everything.

Everything was wonderful. Excellent location, excellent host and a cute cat! The breakfast was simple but good quality. The room is very comfortable and artistic. Marie-Claude is an excellent host. You can feel her warm kindness and generous nature. The location is perfect. I wish i would stay again soon! Thank you Marie-Claude!

Historic sights and gracious hostess made for a wonderful visit.

The charm of a French home, the delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt and jam and fresh fruit, the gracious and accommodating hostess who even drove us to the train station, and beautiful location near chateau, cathedral, shopping, and restaurants.

Charming Historic Townhouse: Like Visiting A Friend

This is essentially a luxury B&B. A tastefully renovated old townhouse with character and a very welcoming host. It is incredibly quiet despite being central to all the key sites in Nantes (Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, Chateau, Cathedral etc) and 5 mins from TGV station. My room was very large, bright and airy with a super comfortable mattress and beautiful garden view. Nice French breakfast (including fresh fruit cocktail & brown bread) and excellent coffee of course. My host negotiated a taxi run out of town for me.

No wifi in bedroom but worked fine in sittingroom.

Perfect spot to stay for a short stop in Nantes

Welcoming host, and a good sized room for our family of four which was well prepared for our short stay. Basic tea/coffee making facilities available, and a comfortable bed. Location was excellent and parking close by was very handy - organise in advance to make for a smooth arrival.
