The tranquility of the place and the entire surrounding neighborhood. The host was great, she made sure that we were informed of everything we needed to be informed about ams was available on chat when needed.

The hosts were friendly, lovely people. Very warm and welcoming. The view and surroundings are amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Knysna. Amazing place!!

Comfortable and enjoyable.

This is a lovely little cottage attached to the main house. It is very tastefully decorated ,comfortable and spotlessly clean. Belvedere Estate feels very secure, no problems walking around even at dusk/dark. Although this is a bed only establishment there is a great little pub, the Bell within easy walking distance for lunches or evening meals. Breakfast was also an absolute pleasure at the Oak Leaf cafe just at the main gate. Our hosts were friendly and helpful on call if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. Would heartily recommend a stay here. Thank you to Janine.,

Janine and Doug were wonderful hosts without being intrusive. I thought the room was perfect.

Beautiful location. The room looked out into a stunning garden.

I prefer a firmer bed but it wasn't a deal breaker.

Everything beautiful, clean, quiet, peaceful, amazing host, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended (a hidden gem 💎)

Overall enjoyed my stay. Very friendly and caring hostess.

Location is good. I had my breakfast at nearby facilities. Although I could make my own tea/coffee and had juice and biscuits. Enjoyed that I had a private entrance and that I could enjoy the garden.

It would be nice to have a small fridge.

Wonderful stay with a wonderful host. Definitely what my husband and I needed for the weekend.

Location was beautiful! Beautiful place to stay in. One can see that a lot of effort was put in to making the place beautiful and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The neighbourhood was perfectly quiet for the restful weekend that my husband and I needed.

Everything was amazing! Just one thing that we did miss was a fridge.

Great stay!

It had a beautiful garden view and felt very inviting. It was very clean, well present and located, it was comfortable in the heat as it had an air con. The hosts were very easy to speak to and very helpful and accommodating.
