Good location. Very clean & comfortable.
Double bedroom very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped & plenty of seating in lounge area.
Staircase is very steep especially for my mother in her 80's. I had to help her up & down so not ideal
Photos are misleading as they don't show the stairs. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere.
Bedside lamp in single room not working & single mattress needs replacing as springs dug into my back.

Excellent location and well equipped. The apartment was comfortable and light. It was in the centre of Salcombe and opposite a great bakery, so everything was very convenient.
The bed in the single room was rather lumpy, the springs were coming through. There is no outside place or garden but that is clear in the description. Thicker curtains in the double room would have been good.

Location of Lee Shore was amazing with a lovely view from the sitting room. House was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The car parking voucher was a real bonus as it meant we could park our car and not worry about parking charges.
Instructions left on how to leave the property after our stay re cleaning & stripping beds etc were really over the top especially as cleaning is a proportion of the cost. If the property is going to be cleaned properly after a visit then I don't understand why bedding needs to be stripped and bagged, washed crockery needs to be dried and put away & not left to drain, rubbish bags removed from bins, tied up and placed outside etc. We did not appreciate the comment about if the above items were not addressed then 'It may result in an additional charge being added'. Toilet door & flush handles were loose, this was reported when keys were dropped back.

Great location right in the heart of Salcombe. Good views over the rooftops due to the living area being upstairs. Very good shower.
The extractor fan in the understairs toilet was very noisy.

Not an awful lot sadly, breakfast in the Wardroom in the sun.
This was self-catering and if I'd seen certain reviews before booking I wouldn't have booked. However, the beds described as very poor were the cheapest you can get, but somehow we slept very well!! Very poor standard of bed linen and thin duvets. Cosy didn't come into it, but we took throws with us. Horrible futon for a sofa, not comfortable at all. The worst thing however was the steps up to the second floor. You need to be young and fit for these, they were a pain. Good shower and there was hanging space for clothes, but the place was full of irrelevant clutter just gathering dust. Sorry I can't be more positive, it is a nice little space that needs a complete revamp and new kitchen taps, and a plug for the sink. We did find one in the end in a drawer but the sink mechanism for raising and lowering it was broken. We know Salcombe very well and we have never seen so much scaffolding. It has lost some of its magic, restaurants years back were far more interesting. No parking place and lots of steps when you unload the car. The main car park was closed so Shadycombe was full and even though we had a sparking permit, we had to hang around to wait for a space.

Great location, great rooms. Lots of character and well fitted out.
Luggage drop off and pick up is difficult. This is not surprising given the location.

Comfortable good location for exploring Salcombe. Estuary view over rooftops. Opposite fresh bakery.
Smelly shower drain. Loose tap in washroom.

Had to buy toilet roll

Beautiful two story apartment in the most perfect location. Very clean and comfortable.
The tv's were temperamental due to the aerials. The hand soup was watered down, and we weren't keen on being asked to take our rubbish to the recycling centre when we were on holiday.

Location great for harbour, shops & pubs.
Pretty & well equipped.
Hard uncomfortable sofa & lumpy small double bed.
Unpleasant food smell from kitchen all week.

Brilliant location..cosy comfortable property. Staff at coast and country very friendly and helpful. Free car parking on nearby carpark as no on site parking
Sound proofing not very good with next door.could here normal talking and sounded like they were in same house above bedroom

Location ideal centre of town
Guidance regarding drop of luggage from car and location of property was poor. Due to creek car park being closed for winter unable to obtain a parking space but street parking found up hill

Great location and ideal for a couple. Well equipped kitchen. Clear instructions how to get to the property and very useful to have a parking permit. The Bakehouse is just a few steps away and very convenient to get your morning bread and baked goods! Lovely to have a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits - especially after a very wet arrival!
The bed was not very comfortable. The sofa in the sitting room was exceptionally hard to sit on and the TV kept losing the digital TV signal - this wouldn't normally pose a problem during the summer months with lighter evenings as we would be enjoying all that South Hams has to offer. However, out of season, with many places closing early, dark nights and poor weather, evenings were spent at the apartment. Access to the property is quite difficult with steps down and up, and not easy to negotiate with suitcases. The stairs to the upper floor are narrow and steep and, again, difficult to negotiate.

Could not have better location butchers and bakers on the opposite side of the street and to the side good pub for dinning out THE FORTESQUE .
Key safe at property and instructions how to drive to property to drop luggage. Never stayed anywhere before who ask that you strip the bedding on leaving.

The location was fabulous. We had come for a party at Cliff House. Lee Shore was only a short walk from the venue and in the town which we like.
Lovely views of the river from the lounge. Coast & Country were very helpful. Easy to get the keys and they provided black bags which were missing from the property. We couldn't find the dustbins so left a small amount of rubbish in a bin bag in the property. We had a great time and the property was excellent. I would recommend to friends & family.
I think it was quite difficult to find the property and i think it would be good to mention the pub at the bottom of the steps to the cottage.
We sailed by boat from Ipswich so we had to find it from the jetty by the Kings Head pub

I was held up in traffic, rang the office and they made arrangements for me to collect the keys late. I actually arrived in time and they were very helpful and welcoming.

The location was excellent, tricky for unloading the car but we coped. Would have been good to be able to hang wet things up outside but other than that all very good

It was a cute little cottage, difficult to locate but in a good location when found. The shower room and toilet looked relatively new and clean.
The double bed mattress, duvet and piillows could do with being replaced and the bedding to be honest. The sofa was very uncomfortable and the ikea chairs were old and a little grubby. The stairs are a little precarious with no handrail. There were certain areas that were dusty and cobwebs in some places.
