Escazu - praktisch und funktional

Sehr funktionales Design, gute Ausstattung, sehr gutes internationales IPTV

Beleuchtung Schlafzimmer Balkon: störendes Licht und nerviger Bewegungsmelder (sollte einfach per Schalter bedienbar sein) damit die Stadtansicht bei Nacht ihren Reiz entfalten kann. Vorsicht bei zahlbaren Extras: Neben dem "Bienvenido" steht eine Weinflasche die teuer (mehr als das doppelte des Einkaufpreises) zu bezahlen ist.

Great place, great location, great view!

This lovely property has a stunning view of Escazu and San Jose. It is very secure both for the house and for parking. Premises are clean and well equipped. Communication with the owner was very good. Great value for the money. We would definitely stay there again or recommend it to others.

If possible a bigger shower head in the upstairs bedroom would be more effective.

Excellent option for a comfortable and beautiful stay.

The host was friendly and communicative, and we liked getting to say hello to the friendly dogs on the property. The apartment is beautiful with excellent views and very good privacy, and it feels very secure with a gate around the property. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door with a small balcony looking over the city, and one wall in the living room folds open to offer access to the main floor balcony, so there is very good lighting and ventilation. There is good water pressure and hot water in the showers. The whole unit was very clean and furnishings were of good quality, and it was very convenient to have a washing machine. I worked online during part of our trip, so it was very helpful to have a second bedroom space with desk to work from, and the WiFi was very good quality for video calls.

I am from the US originally and prefer a very soft bed (not common in Costa Rica). While the mattresses were very good quality, I was recovering from a surgery and would have appreciated a mattress pad cover to make it softer. One additional note is that the jacuzzi in the listing is an additional paid option, not included in the rental.

Comfort in the city

The apartment was located in a very nice suburb near the city. You defiantly needed a car but most things were close. There were a few walkable places near by but a car is best. the apartment was lovely! very clean, sleek, and the view was amazing. The owner was very responsive and left water, tea, and coffee for you to enjoy. The unit had a washer (no dryer) and came equipped with a full kitchen, towels, and Netflix access. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in San Jose.

Everything was perfect!

We really loved our stay at Cosy Apartment Mirador. It was a wonderful base and felt like home for us. We spent two weeks there as we needed to explore the Central Valley. It is in a great location and extremely peaceful, which was wonderful after the hustle and bustle of the city. Our host, Gonelli, was very welcoming and informative. The views from the apartment are magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed late afternoons sitting on the balcony. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Modoern Mountainside Retreat in an Urban Area

Great modern vibe spread over two floors. Very friendly host and super friendly quiet, obedient dogs on the property. Apartment has spectacular views facing San Jose with a sufficient air circulation throughout. Great access to restaurants, stores and the main mall.

I realize that the softness/hardness of a mattress is a matter of preference. So for this circumstance I did not lower the rating too much, preferring instead to explain in these comments. If you prefer a very hard, firm mattress on all of the beds, this apartment is for you. Our backs and shoulders were sore and we lost some sleep because we are not used to it.

Wonderful apartment.

The apartment is really clean tidy and recently refurbished. The views of teh city at night are amazing and the breakfast in the mornings was excellent. The hosts were really amazing and did everything they could to make sure our stay was great. We had a slight emergency the morning we left as we could not get a taxi or Uber to the airport due to the early hour at which we departed, 4am. The hosts woke up very early to help us get a taxi just in time to make our flight. This was very much appreciated.

Exceptional

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two balconies with amazing views. Photos don't do justice to the views from this house. The living room has glass wall that could be opened. The cool breeze and natural light throughout the house makes it pleasant regardless of how the weather is outside. We watched NYE fireworks from the house and could see for miles in every direction.
