La locación, la propiedad muy limpia y privada. Perfecto para familias o grupos grandes. El sr Marlon muy amable y el personal también.

Beautiful spot to relax swim or lay poool side or fall asleep on hammock. I would be back to stay and highly recommended

On site manager is the best, friendly and is able to give you tips (speaks Spanish only) Quiet spot easy to get places El Tunco is not far. Beach access is right at your door step.

Friendly staff, excellent views

I stayed at Konchamar for three nights and used it as my launch pad for excursions to El Tunco, La Libertad, and other nearby attractions. The location can't be beat, and the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help with things like early check-in and arranging local guides and transportation. I also appreciated the yummy included breakfasts.

Fair stay 3 miles away from El Tunco

El que fuera un hotel pequeno. La piscina estaba en buen estado. Que nos estuvieran esperando, y que las habitaciones estuvieran limpias.

No hay toallas para la piscina o playa, y que aún cuando teníamos registrado un menor/kid no le dieron una toalla y cuando pedi una segunda toalla para esos propósitos se negaron a proporcionarla. Que en realidad el hotel no esta en El Tunco.

The outside is beautiful! The rooms are a bit outdated, need more light into the rooms and the shower needs some serious attention!!! By the way, Valentin was extremely helpful and is the best employee there.

In general I did like everything except, lighting in bathroom and somehow the room

Affordable Stay Close to Surf City

I stayed with two friends at the hotel. One of the front desk employees, Marlon, was very helpful in every way. It was conveniently located next to a lot of local businesses and Surf City. You can get a cheap thrill or a modern experience by turning left or right. Breakfast was very simple. They delivered it at 8am and it was a random assortment everyday. I would recommend trying breakfast at a restaurant if you have a lot of time as we did. However, it was enough to get the day started.

The beds were a bit firm for us and there was no duvet/comforter on top of the bed. But I like to sleep warm. It was 100% sleepable though :)

Lo hermoso q está el rancho,la limpieza personal muy atento,la piscina muy limpia, solamente una observación acerca de las gradas q bajan a la piscina muy resbaladiza por poco me caigo se necesita un pasamanos o piso antideslizante por lo menos en esas gradas por lo demás estuvo excelente el lugar,lo recomendaría muchísimo mi familia y yo quedamos encantados con el lugar y la playa muy bonita con hermosos atardeceres..

Lo liso en las gradas de la piscina,y los precios de las bebidas muy elevados.

Beautiful getaway with everything as advertised. Dinner and lunch aren’t provided but there are plenty of places nearby

Everything was beautifully taken care of. From the rooms to the pool, everything was neat and tidy. The water doesn’t get too hot but luckily El Salvador is plenty hot enough. The A/C in the room worked great, to the point I had to even turn it off.

Fun time swimming and relaxing, good food and atmosphere in the restaurant near by

The location right in front of a sandy beach . the swimming pool and the outdoor spaces with tables and chairs. Marlo is very nice and helpful . Also there’s a really good a few steps away , good food and great views. and if you want to go to El Tunco , is just a few minutes away by taxi or bus.

stunning beach and hotel

the staff were so kind and helpful! sadly, my partner and I don’t speak Spanish, but the staff were super patient and accommodating. the breakfast was great! the hotel was stunning and had great amenities, a beautiful pool, fridge and good ac. very clean, comfortable, and beautiful! we had the perfect stay.

Beautiful property and great staff.

The manager of this property was outstanding! Once on the property, he made sure we made it to our room every night. I love that the property is gated and protected. I was uneasy having to be physical let in and out of the gate (in fear of waking staff late at night while returning to the property). This property is beautiful and is on a sanded beach; There was no hot water while showering (which may be a luxury in La Libertad). Breakfast is served to your room, and the free WIFI was great. If you can tolerate cool shower water, then this property is beautiful and right on the beach for less.

Affordable, clean place to spend a weekend or day; nothing fancy, just a quiet place to enjoy.

Like the location is very close to restaurants and at the end of the beach, close to some tide pools which were very nice. The ocean part infornt of the property was very nice, not too crowded and also much ceaner than the rest of the beach

Breakfast included was not from the location, they ordered somewhere else and it was the same everyday, no options were given, so nothing special about it. Only options at resort were drinks available for purchase(beer, juices, sodas & water) no service, had to go to front desk to buy them

Feel like you're in a private oasis

Arriving at Konchamar it's a gated and very private lot, can't enter without ringing the bell. The Spanish style architecture give the hotel such a cozy feel and honestly make it feel like your on your own private oasis. The rooms are next to each other but separated by the personal patios so it still feels very private. There's so many places you can relax, from the pool to the hammocks in the eating area. The employees were great and very attentive. Next time we stay in La Libertad we will for sure be coming back! Such a great experience.

Fabulous time

privacy, very clean, confortable beds, attention, excellent location to go every where, walking on the beach very safe place. Valentin excellent customer service, breakfast delicious. I recommend 100%. I enjoyed my 3 days there. the pool super clean

Comfort, relaxing, good experience and would come back again.

The price was good for what they was asking. Not a lot of customers there which was okay with me because I don't like being around with a lot of people. The beach is at the back of building and has a pool on the property. You could bring your own food and drinks. The place has a little recreation hangout area to kick back with friends and family. I paid $100 upon arrival in cash for a standard room with 2 beds for both couples, price may vary on individual needs. Check in 3-4 pm checkout 1pm and need extra time just let Valentine (on duty) know and he can work with you and might not charge.

Food was under cook, the bathroom shower heads need replacing, pool need minor maintenance and more light fixtures in the pool.
