Superb

The room I stayed in was cozy and clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

Plenty of parking and a nice location

The lodge was too small for a double and single bed. There was no room to properly use the kitchen facilities as the bed was too close, one example being that you could not fully open the fridge door.

Cosy & comfortable cabin in Didcot - great value.

A lovely little cabin which was warm and had a small kitchenette and en-suite. The collection of the keys was easy from a lock-box and there were a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the fridge which was welcome. The bed was particularly comfortable. One thing not noted in the property description was the park opposite the property which featured an outside gym - for those travellers who like a run or workout in the morning this would be a great facility in the summer months. Excellent value for money.

TV was at a slightly awkward angle for watching in bed and wasn't particularly easy to use but this is a very minor point and didn't detract from an excellent stay.

A good base for a trip where we were out most of the time for an event and meeting up with people

Easy to get to from the major roads, comfortable and somewhat better equipped than we expected. The site is in a reasonably pleasant suburb and opposite a park. The staff seemed friendly but the key-coded lock-box system meant we didn't have to have much to do with them. Self-catering facilities, though basic, were modern and more than adequate for our needs. We really enjoyed watching the Red Kites. The set-up worked well for us, so would certainly consider staying again should the need for a similar journey arise.

Nothing major, though the wind overnight brought down chestnuts onto the roof, which disturbed us on one of our nights. The local birds could be quite noisy in the morning, but we were quite happy to put up with that as we enjoyed seeing them.

We love the Lodges as have everything we need. Stay in that location to visit family in Harwell.

Room 2. A few niggly bits like a broken table lamp shade that looked awful when lit at night, tea stained teaspoons , mould in the bathroom, people being able to see into the room unless curtains were closed. A pretty setting though. It wouldnt really put me off going again. A bonus was watching the caretaker feeding raw chicken to the Red Kites. They swooped down to pick up food from the car park. It was pretty amazing to watch.

Generally we were happy with our stay

Location was fine.

No cutting board in kitchen. Ashtray full of butts outside on the porch! This should have been cleared away before we got there.

We didn't see any staff due to COVID restrictions but our stay was handled very well, with no problems at all and we were very grateful for the early book in as we travelled a long way. Thank you very much!!
