Pack up your surf boards and head to Wrightsville Beach to “Surf Charlotte”. This charming cottage is the right spot for your next family vacation! Just one house away from the beach and a short stroll to the local restaurants and shops, this delightful cottage perfectly blends convenience and privacy. The spacious deck is perfect for outdoor dining, soaking in the sun, or just enjoying the ocean and local wildlife.
“Surf Charlotte” welcomes you with open arms and you will know you made the right choice as soon as you walk through the front door! The open living dining area is cozy and elegant, making a comfortable gathering space after a long day on the beach. The double living room floor plan provides a generous space for your family to spread out and the smart TV’s, two of which have Apple TV’s, make it easy for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows and the 3 Bose SoundTouch speakers are Bluetooth enabled so you can listen to music throughout the house! Just off the main living room is the kitchen which features stainless steel appliances, a lovely tile back splash and tons of natural light.
The first queen guest bedroom is located between the living rooms and is outfitted with a luxurious memory foam mattress and serviced by the hall bathroom. The second living room is not only charming and full of character, but is also an efficient use of space as the sofa converts to a sleeper, allowing for an additional sleeping area. Just down the hall is a laundry room, two more queen bedrooms equipped with memory foam mattresses and the second full bathroom.
The ground floor includes an outdoor shower and outdoor storage so you can conveniently store all your beach equipment. There is off-street parking for 3 vehicles, one in the driveway and two spots under the house which are accessed from East Atlanta Street. The house was great. The layout and location were perfect for us. We loved the second tv/seating area and overall charm of the house. It was very cozy and inviting. The pet friendly items (blankets, poop bags, etc) were a great touch.
Acess to the beach was simple and historic Wilmington is a short drive away. We will definitely be back.

This is the second extended stay at this house. It is clean, comfortable, and clearly the owners care a lot about it. Amazing location just off the beach path, and just a few blocks to the shops. Kitchen basics like dish soap, sponge, any cleaning products were in short supply or non-existent so bring your own. Otherwise, a great place to visit and spend time away.

Perfect beach bungalow! Beautifully decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Bose speakers in all the rooms and all the dishes we could ever need in the kitchen. Huge front/side porch for coffee in the mornings and a sweet little back porch for afternoon sun and cocktails! Hop, skip and a jump from everywhere you want to be at Wrightsville. Parking was excellent and we loved the outdoor shower. We will absolutely book again next year for our staycation! Loved Surf Charlotte!

The house is great - space enough for our family of four and our dog. Steps to the beach plus the amazing porch where you can sit and listen to the waves.
Walkable to a few restaurants and bars as well as a coffee shop.

Nice roomy cottage. Well located and perfect for six people and a dog. A sliver of an ocean view and just steps from the beach path. Professionally decorated, clean and well stocked. Three roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds (not great pillows). Two non-private bathrooms (one redone, one not). We would definitely stay here again!

OK house with a great location. Nothing modern or fancy but a good house nonetheless. Not beach front but very close. Only complaint was the excessive pet fee. We were not aware until we were booking and unfortunately the house was our only option for our dates and the location we needed. There was a $200 pet fee PER PET! I do not recall seeing that in the listing itself. We were charged $400 for two 10 pound older, lazy dogs. I have never paid that much in pet fees and we travel often. My wife often will clean any rentals upon leaving, so we left the place spotless. So again, $400 for the pets was a bit ridiculous and was a bit greedy if you ask me. If you want to charge money upon discovering any damage from a pet that is one thing, but to charge this amount up front is crazy.

Surf Charlotte is in a great location; quiet and close to the beach. It's an older property that has been thoughtfully renovated and decorated. The home is clean and well-maintained, and we had no issues during our stay.

Pleasant surprises: there's a screen that blocks the front deck stairs so dogs and children don't go down the stairs. The outdoor shower is amazing. Something I wished I packed: Hairdryer. The warm air did the trick, but it looked horrible. LOL
It's one house away from the beach and walking distance to town. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend this rental.

This house was the perfect escape from the harshest days of winter in NY. Two friends and I (and our dogs) stayed for six weeks. The house has a great layout, is nicely furnished, and the location right of the beach path was fantastic. The staff at Bryant Realty were very helpful and professional. Loved the house and its location. Well furnished and comfortable. Outdoor deck and seating very pleasant. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by an absolutely filthy kitchen on arrival. Dirty dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils in shelves and cupboards. Unusable dishwasher. No dish cloths or oven mitts. Fortunately, Bryant was willing to send a top-notch team to rectify. It took two energetic young people an hour and a half of steady work to get the kitchen in decent shape.

My family of five (including three teenage boys) absolutely loved our recent stay at Surf Charlotte! The home has an excellent location, just steps from the beach. The beds are comfy and the living spaces are nicely appointed. We ate all of our meals outdoors on the large covered porch. The outdoor shower was the perfect place to wash off the sand from the beach. During Covid, we traveled through NC as a family, cooking our meals and keeping distanced. Of all the wonderful places we've stayed over the past 14 months, Surf Charlotte was by far our very favorite. Bryant Real Estate is fantastic, too -- love their app! And they provide useful information (like how garbage day works) just when you need it. Great service and very professional!

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE, PERFECT LOCATION! Old-School Beach Charm!
This house is beautifully decorated, from the furniture to the artwork.—just ADORABLE! We loved being able to get up each morning, have coffee on the deck and watch the sun come up over the ocean.
The house was super clean and looks like some rooms were freshly painted. We barely cooked—there are great coffee shops and restaurants only a few blocks away—but the kitchen was spotless and well equipped. A GREAT coffee maker, lots of nice pots and pans, lovely plates and glasses—literally everything we could need.
As awesome as the house is, the LOCATION is better. Once we arrived, we never got back into the car until we left. You can walk everywhere! I think we counted 8 steps til our toes hit the sand at the beach access, so you can leave your shoes at the house and don’t have to lug coolers and beach gear very far. We just put our chairs on the beach, and went back and forth to the house for lunch, drinks, bathroom, etc. It’s right on The Loop, 2-3 blocks from Robert’s Grocery, Tower 7 (the best Tex-Mex ever), coffee shops, etc. One of the surf shops has bikes and other stuff to rent. We will definitely do that next trip. There’s a great outdoor sofa and chairs on the covered deck. And under the deck there’s a place to rinse off sandy feet, and a cute Surfboard themed outdoor shower with hot water, which was extremely useful since sand gets everywhere!
There are 2 nice sized bedrooms in the back, but we took the front bedroom. It is smaller, but is decorated beautifully and has a great vibe. Super comfy bed with snuggly duvet. And plenty of extra quilts, blankets and extra pillows in the closets. There are fans in every room which is nice.
I called dibs on the front bathroom. Small but very cool! It has a river rock floor that goes all the way into the shower. The shower has a little window in it (with a blind) so you feel like you’re showering outside in the trees! And the water pressure was crazy strong—a big plus for me! Again, super clean.
There are big smart TVs in every room, so we just logged on to our own Netflix and streaming tv accounts so we had our own content—really great! There were Bluetooth speakers in most rooms, too.
To add to the excitement, apparently a filmmaker lives next door and was FILMING A MOVIE on the beach in front of the house! They said I t’s a Suspense film. So cool watching them filming and setting up scenes. Really exciting!
We had a great time and can’t wait to come back! Hopefully soon!

The house is in a great location, but after driving 12 hours with two young kids in the car we arrived exhausted only to find cockroaches running around. Not just the big "waterbug" types, but also the small sized cockroaches as well as red ants. We considered leaving immediately but didn't have the energy and knew getting a refund would be a fight. The part of the house farthest from the kitchen had less bugs so we stayed in that end of the house and just went to the beach or hung out outside on the covered porch. We ended up leaving two days early as it was inconvenient and expensive not being able to cook our own food in the cockroach kitchen. Bryant dropped off some roach traps but those take time to work and this problem should have been addressed long before we got there.

We found this cozy rental full of dog hairs and in need of a deep clean. Besides that, where do I begin: rusty dog bowls left on porch, no two glasses alike, cheap pots and pans, knives dull, basement hose nozzle for cleaning up feet leaking and old. Bryant said no grill when in fact there was a grill at the house. WE already rented one for two weeks, $180. Oh, drawer knobs missing, ceiling lamp globe missing, etc. etc.. Tired looking place on the inside

AMAZING Property!
My husband and I stayed at this house for a mini “honeymoon”. We said “we need to come back here!” several times during our stay. It’s a super close walk to the beach (maybe 10 steps to beach access), has an enormous patio, and the house is beautifully decorated. Also within walking distance of some good restaurants and only a few miles from a Harris Teeter. There were a few minor cleanliness things that we noticed, but nothing alarming— the property overall was very clean and well kept!
