Sitting majestically on the famous Esplanade at Woolacombe and overlooking one of the UKs most popular and beautiful beaches is the prestigious newly refurbished Parade House once owned by lady Rosalie Chichester and the adjacent sympathetic newbuild.
In 1890 there were no properties along the enviable Esplanade in Woolacombe when Lady Chichester of Arlington Court had first pick of where to site her holiday home, Parade House. She chose well and the 3/4-acre development is in arguably the number one location in Woolacombe and North Devon. The development comprises 4 unique and private properties which all have stunning sea views through spacious windows creating an idyllic location for a memorable stay.
Woolacombe beach has been voted No.1 beach in the UK several times and it’s not difficult to see why. Almost three miles of golden sand stretch out in front of this supreme holiday property and the west facing beach boasts some of the finest surf in the country, attracting surfers and families alike who enjoy playing in Woolacombes renowned safe and stimulating waves.
The prominent and well recognised landmark building now comprises four unique luxury holiday homes, all with Four Winds hot tubs, private outdoor areas, contemporary Stephen Graver kitchens, state of the art Sonos systems, Wi-Fi, Bosche and Siemens appliances, parking spaces, Tesla charging point and of course those unforgettable views!

Built and renovated in 2017, with 3 bedrooms this place can sleep 6 to 8 people comfortably if you use the sofa bed (with £70 supplement).
The View combines miraculously the Victorian heritage of the whole development with cutting edge contemporary architecture. The spacious living area has floor to ceiling patio doors leading out onto the outside space. The 3 bedrooms, complete with Georgian features are very well proportioned and allow a very relaxing stay. The space works so well… Look forward to great chat whilst preparing meals at the island kitchen, or just relaxing in the large hot tub. With views to die for, The View combines cutting edge contemporary design with chic elegance, ideal for anyone wanting space and luxury in abundance.
Set in a very modern open plan design the spacious kitchen and living area enables families and friends alike to enjoy each other’s company while affording plenty of space. The large space has floor to ceiling patio doors that open fully to the outside terrace area. The Stephen Graver kitchen comes complete with brand new Siemens and Bosch appliances, full size dish washer and washer dryer, fully kitted out with everything you will need. The island layout, large dining table and generous sofas use the space very well. One of the sofas is a sofa bed (please advise at booking stage if you require the sofa bed at £70 supplement). Wall mounted TV and Sonos system.
There are 3 luxury bedrooms in The View. The master has a super-king size bed and en-suite shower room, the 2nd with zip n link singles or super-king size bed (please state your preference at booking stage as you complete the online booking form). The third bedroom has a double bed. The three bedrooms are at the back of the main building of the original house. There is a family bathroom.
Set on a delightful ground floor terrace, The View benefits from second to none outside space designed to soak up the amazing views that Woolacombe beach offers. Enjoy watching the sun disappear over the horizon whilst enjoying a soak in the luxury Four Winds Hot Tub or BBQing your latest creation. The View comes within the 3/4 acre Parade House development and visitors can benefit from the extensive grounds and walk areas.
There is off road parking for up to two cars (un-allocated).
A £500 security deposit will be pre-authorised and then released again after the holiday.
The charge per dog per holiday is £25

Booking Terms – The Owners have supplied this note: Parade House is ideally positioned on the sea front in Woolacombe. Whilst barely overlooked, the properties are still within earshot of other properties and we ask for noise to be kept to a minimum and that you have respect and regard for other Parade House guests and local neighbours. Whilst it has not been necessary in the past, we reserve the right to retain some or all of your deposit if there are complaints for noise pollution*. No Stag or Hen Parties to be booked without prior consent from the agent. All Pets must be declared on the booking form. No pets are to be allowed on the sofas or in the bedrooms. No pets should be left alone in the properties for long periods of time and they should be crated during this time. The agent reserves the right to cancel any booking should guests be found to be in breach of the terms and conditions stated above.**Please note, you are very welcome to use the hot tub for the duration of your stay, however we restrict this use to between the hours of 8am and 10.30pm for the consideration of our other guests and neighbours. (Any guests found to be using the hot tubs outside of these hours will be subject to a fine of £50 per offence, which will be deducted from your damage deposit).*verified under standard governmental environmental health guidelines for noise disturbances with environmental app.

The apartment is in the perfect position but when we arrived we noticed that the first bathroom toilet water was running, which we reported. We then noticed that the hand held shower in the same bathroom wasn't working. The door bathroom door wouldn't shut properly.
In the second walk in shower room the tiles moved under your feet by the door, the door would only open so much as the water from the shower had distorted the bottom of the door. The door stop (although no good as the door wouldn't open that far) was unscrewed from the wall.
Fridge has water at the back under the vegetable container. I looked at it and there seemed to be ice there, which then turned to water. I cleaned it up each day, but it needs to be looked at.
We only reported one of the problems as were on holiday and didn't want anyone else in the apartment whilst we were there.
Saying all the above. The cleanliness was 2nd to none. The apartment was perfect for our needs and we had a brilliant couple of weeks despite the weather.
I know the apartment is well used and maybe that is why there were a few issues that had not been noticed.

Our holiday at The View
We have just enjoyed a fabulous stay in Woolacombe at The View. What an amazing property which is well worthy of its name. The beach view is superb. The property was very well equipped, clean, spacious and very comfortable. We loved the added bonus of the hot tub! We would not hesitate to return to this lovely property.

An amazing transformation
My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing.
We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub.
The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach.
Customer service was excellent, car parking spacious, even the weather was glorious!
