About this house rental
Registration # RE.00841-STR Coastal charm! This newly renovated waterfront property has expansive views of Nanaquaket Pond, a salt water inlet. It has a private walking path down to the shoreline! Bring your kayaks or paddle board if you like. Explore the farm coast, beaches, nature preserves, historic areas and much more! The perfect getaway to relax in, catch a gorgeous sunset from the back deck and take a walk down to the shoreline. FYI ***Small trees and shrubs have been added, early fall 2021 along the property line to the right of the home and in front of the home for privacy. ***An art studio will be constructed Sept/Oct. 2021 on the lower, right hand side of the property. It is not a rental, it will be for family use. (Photos will be added ASAP) The home is conveniently located off of route 24. Take a walk across the street and get ice cream at Helger's Ice Cream Stand or some spirits at the package store. There's also a yoga studio and seasonal french eatery. Evelyn's Drive In serves fried clams, clam cakes, chowder and lots of other summertime favorites. The Black Goose is just a short trip down the road where you can grab breakfast, lunch or a light dinner. You also will find a convenience store and Grinnell's Beach, a lovely small town beach. Head south and you'll arrive at Pardon Gray where you can hike a trail connecting to Weetamoo Woods! A little further down the road is Tiverton Four Corners. There you will enjoy walking around and exploring art galleries, shops and antiques. Gray's Ice Cream and Four Corners Grille are great places to grab a bite! Continue south and you'll come to Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyards. The road will take you into Little Compton and along the farm coast. Beautiful views and a lovely ride! You might want to spend the day at South Shore Beach! My husband and I live about a mile from the property and can be available if you have questions. You will receive a code to open the garage door and you can enter through there. We're more than happy to give you recommendations or let you know what the area has to offer. We ask that you text/call us after you arrive and when you are checking out.

This was our second stay at this property while visiting our daughter at RWU and we hope to return again! The house is immaculately clean and comfortable and the view of the water is beautiful! We love visiting the nature preserves, farms, beaches, cafes and shops in this area, but we also enjoy relaxing around the fire pit, walking down to the water, watching movies, and gathering in the spacious kitchen for meals. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Tiverton . The house is absolutely spotless . I perfer staying in hotels vs home rentals , but this property felt like a hotel . All the bedding is high quality , the furniture is new and the location is perfect for day trips to other cities in RI . We were able to enjoy Providene and New Port with a 30 minute drive . The resturants in Tiverton were fantastic for such a small town . Great bakery and coffee shop down the street . Ice cream walking distance from the home . Overall a perfect place to stay while visiting RI .

We stayed for a long weekend. The house is beautifully kept and well thought out. The owners have thought of everything and more that you could possibly need. The beds are super comfy too! The views from the back of the house are spectacular. Super convenient to great restaurants and shops. We will definitely return!

Our kids had a blast!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Our kids had a blast - flying kites, spotting bunnies, catching/releasing crabs, or just running all day in the big backyard. There is a little pathway to water and we felt we were right in the middle of a bird sanctuary. Watching ever-changing clouds from the deck was just so wonderful. It’s beautiful, impeccably clean and cozy home. Wish we can spend every summer here. 😊 Lynn was a good hostess! Thanks for everything, Lynn!

The home was well appointed and the owner even left us a bottle of wine! The property is right on the water with a beautiful back deck and porch that we absolutely enjoyed. Down by the water, there is a little dock and we took some celebratory photos there. Prior to booking, the owner was incredibly helpful. I was directionally looking for a home that did not require use of stairs to access main areas or bedrooms as my parents are both in their 70s and have a bit more limited mobility than they used to. Lynne answered me quickly and detailed the areas that might require a few steps. She was absolutely wonderful and I would book this home again and again!

Great location to get to short hikes for small kids, an amazing playground, and wonderful food options. The house is close to the main road but the living room faces the pond and we spent quite a bit of time watching birds on the move. Would stay there again!

We enjoyed our entire stay. (It helped the weather was perfect - not always the case in October!) The home had everything we needed, and the beds were heavenly after a long day out exploring. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time visiting Tiverton so we didn't know what to expect. We were there for a sailing event in Bristol. Tiverton is a great location and this property exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate and in perfect condition. Enjoying the view from the deck was a perfect way to start our day and then to wind down in the evening.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay near Portsmouth RI so we could visit with his elderly parents over a couple of days rather than a short 2 hour visit as usual given we live a distance away. We also wanted an enjoyable place to relax, bike, paddle board, and eat out.
This lovely home had everything we desired. It is one level and so when the folks came over it was easy for the two 90 year olds to get around the home including sitting on the lovely and good sized deck overlooking the saltwater pond. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living room are all updated and just as pictured in the online posting. My only desire would be for a real coffee maker versus a Kerig with pods (which were provided). So bring one if that's what you want. We ended up cooking in all 3 nights and the kitchen is well provisioned for this and the grill on deck works great.
My only other suggestion to the hosts is to put the beach towels with the regular bath towels as we didn't find them in the front room until the last day and I felt badly using the bath towels for our daily swims in the pond.
The house is on a busy road so may not be great for children except there is a huge backyard (as pictured) with plenty of room for running around and games being set up. We were concerned about biking but found several nice routes off the main road down lovely streets of beautiful houses and beaches.
The hosts were great and communicated everything we needed to know about the property and left lots of local information as well at the house.
We are thinking about renting again in the future so we can enjoy some more time with my aging in-laws while they are still well.

Tiverton Getaway and Family Visit

Very nice cottage
Very nice cottage, very clean. Only wish it was closer to places we wanted to go- spent a lot of time driving. But if you are looking to get away and stay at cottage, definitely a nice place.

Incredible weekend!
Our group of four traveled from Nashville and New Orleans to see our family member graduate from Roger Williams. The house provided such a comfortable, scenic, and relaxing visit for us to enjoy each others company. The weekend weather was perfect and allowed us to utilize the deck and stroll through the huge back yard down to the waters edge. We loved seeing all the beautiful wildlife from the large windows throughout the house. The house was immaculately clean and located by delicious restaurants and interesting shops. The host provides numerous recommendations for your stay and answers questions promptly. This home is a perfect setting with an incredible view you won't want to leave!

Fresh, Clean, Fun, and a great value!
We stayed at our wonderful home for almost a month. From the outset Lynn went above and beyond. When we arrived she had all the little touches that I always wish hosts thought of but never do; there was a bottle of wine chilling, fresh eggs, and even treats for our pup. The home was IMMACULATELY clean and there were such helpful things like kleenex, laundry detergent, dish soap, sound machines in the bedrooms, and so much more. Lynn was gracious and always available without being intrusive. When I suggested next year she have a blender in the kitchen a new one arrived at our doorstep the next day! I think the best things were sunsets over the water each night, walking to water's edge every day, and coming home to a place that was bright and well done instead of what you most often find in this area at this price which is musty and cluttered. We also appreciated the A/C, the washer/dryer, the full garage, and the 3 TV's. If I had anything to "wish for" next time it would be a King bed in the master, a few more kitchen items, and less road noise. But it only affects the bedrooms and the sound machines and A/C helped out lots. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Lynn and family for providing a much needed affordable, clean and updated waterfront option in this area - we love it!

Great house that is sparkling clean with everything you need. Awesome deck to sit and watch the water and a huge property with nice walkway down to the water. You can’t swim from the house but was a great reading spot regardless. Lynn was a great host!

Beautiful Getaway
We had a fantastic long weekend stay at this beautiful getaway on the coast. One of the highlights of the trip was sipping our morning coffee on the deck while watching the mist roll in over the water. The views from inside the house were spectacular as well, which we enjoyed on the overcast days. There are several eateries in the area, all open for takeout or delivery, and we were hard-pressed to pick a favorite. Lynn is a very gracious host and we can't wait to come back!

Relaxing getaway!
We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. The property is beautiful, and it was great to be able to walk to the waterfront and launch our boards. The views from kitchen, living room and deck made watching the sunset easy from wherever we landed after a sun drenched day. The home was impeccable and well appointed. We were there during Covid, and decided to stay in, so did not have the opportunity to dine out, but the location was convenient to local eateries. Truly a lovely stay and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you Lynn & LJ!!

Beautiful home, great outside views, great location!!
This was the perfect spot for nice relaxing getaway! We couldn’t believe how clean & beautifully decorated the house was. The property had a nice, big backyard perfect for games & had great views of the water from the deck! The owner was so responsive, kind & went out of her way numerous times to ensure we had the best time. I would gladly book with her there again!!
