The flat was perfectly fitted out- with everything we needed and more! We loved being down on the harbour.
Would stay again!

What a fabulous setting overlooking the harbour. The Steamboat was very comfortable and had everything you would want for a stay. If you book the Steamboat, use it as a base and spend at least 4 days there, more if you can afford the time. We only spent 2 days and I wish I had booked more.
Nothing, everything was great.

Clean, cozy, we were so happy to spend a couple relaxing nights here
Our kids are 9 and 11. The couch bed was a bit too small for them. One slept on the floor, no big deal. May ne better to advertise that the couch sleeps 2 very little kids, preschoolers perhaps, or 1 older kid/teen/adult. But again, this wasn't a big deal for us.

The flat is cosy and spotlessly clean
Amazing hosts - everything has been though of, whether you plant to stay for a week or just one night
The best parts for me are: being able to park at the door (as it was snowing), the harbour views and the location to local restaurants
Loved everything

Nice location, great view. Good supplies in the kitchen apart from no spatula for the sausages. Good supply of condiments- salt, pepper, oil, soy sauce etc. Great shower.
Liked having Netflix but I missed live TV as i like to watch the news in the morning. Like most self-catering homes, there's no TV in the bedroom which is fair enough on holiday but on work trips I like to go to bed early and watch something.

Very comfortable and clean, fully equipped with everything. Good location in the harbor of Wick. We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much.
everything was great

Flat was well equipped. Fabulous cafe close by for breakfast
Location near the harbour - but to be honest we didn't like walking through the back streets at night to get to restaurants. .

Very clean modern apartment

Attractive and tasteful interior. Great views. Good historic context. Good cafe and chip shop nearby. Short walk to town restaurants.
TV difficult to fathom for technophobes.

Excellent location and facilities.

This was a self catering accommodation that provided us with absolutely everything we needed and more. It overlooked the harbour, which gave us a good view of the coming and goings, even down to the lifeboat returning safely to harbour. There was a very good fish and chip shop, Harbour Chip Shop, and an equally good cafe (Whickers World) just down the road. We were very comfortable and can’t rate this accommodation highly enough.
Nothing - we knew about the steps leading to the apartment which had been made very clear in the booking information and it wouldn’t suit someone with mobility issues but that wasn’t a problem for us. Couldn’t fault it.

Great location, easy parking, exceptional cleanliness, excellent facilities especially in the kitchen and bathroom, loved the small touches like local recommendations in the guest pack and the binoculars. Nice to receive a welcome text message and to have the basics provided (tea, coffee, cleaning products etc.)

Wick has a lot of history to explore but the town centre is tired and run down. The apartment was great !

Well-equipped spotless flat in a superb location with amazing views.
Comfy bed and very quiet at night.
Free parking in the area and cafes/restaurants at walking distance.
We travelled with our 3 yo son and the hosts provided us with some books and games :)

The flat was very well equipped, clean and comfortable with ever changing views of the harbour.
All good. A few hooks for clothes in the shower room maybe.

Excellent accommodation, a home from home. I stayed for 4 nights in April and spent two full days in the flat working online (there was ample room to spread out my files at the table and the Wifi coped with all I needed to do), and the other days were spent working clinically at the nearby hospital. The bright living room with its views over the harbour are a highlight and I particularly enjoyed sitting in the armchair watching the world go for my tea break. Parking at the door was another advantage, especially as the weather was very wintry during my whole stay (gale-force winds, sleet, hail, temperatures below five degrees). The flat was incredibly cosy with the heating left on the automatic settings programmed by the host, the bed was comfortable and I made use of the well-equipped kitchen to cook a few meals. I walked to nearby Wickers World cafe for lunch on m my admin days (they do nice breakfasts too), and I ate out once during my visit for an evening meal at nearby MacKays hotel (perfectly decent fish and chips). All other Wick restaurants and takeaways are accessible on foot or there is a Tesco supermarket a short drive away on the road out of town. David, the host was contactable throughout if I had any issues but that wasn't necessary as everything had been thought of. The photos on the wall showing the history of the building and surrounding area were a lovely touch.
The shower is electric and not particularly powerful but this minor issue would not put me off recommending the Steamboat to everyone.

Real comfortable from home with a cracking kitchen. Loved the decor and history of the building. Thoughtful touches like the binoculars and welcome card were really appreciated. Id certainly stay again and highly recommend both the flat and the host!
Cant fault it. Ticks all the boxes for comfort location, value. Nice to be so near the harbour Will certainly book again.

It was like a home from home, well presented and equipped, welcoming and clean. For want of repeating what seems to be said in every review, just to say, we too would definitely stay here again and so should you!
Only a short walk to the Old Pultney distillery and with great views of the harbour; easy parking on the street and walking to the shops and other local amenities.
Shame we weren’t staying for more than two nights, but would perhaps have needed a bigger fridge/freezer if we were.

This is a superb apartment! It’s in super location and the harbour view is lovely! The apartment is exceptionally well furnished.. tasteful and comfortable. The hosts are very attentive… and leaving a welcome card and chocs was a lovely touch. The coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate left for guests us very thoughtful and appreciated. I would recommend the Steamboat without reservation. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Wick.. as a base for sightseeing.. stay here!
Nothing.
