Great suite in an old building with fantastic views of the Bergamo area. Excellent breakfast. Very clean. Staff were wonderful and very hospitable.
Nothing to dislike.

The property was beautiful! It is located on the hillside overlooking The lower portion of Bergamo and is just a 10 minute walk into the upper and older portion of Bergamo. I loved that the property had the feeling that it was isolated in the country yet was only a minutes walk to the city center. There was also a place to park the car which is a rare find along the Bergamo hillside. The property had a peaceful and nurturing energetic that was complimented by the caring and attention to detail offered by Greta, the hostess.
There was nothing not to like about the property.

Gorgeous accommodations with beautiful antiques. The owner, Greta, was a delight and served an amazing breakfast. Really a special place.

This accommodation is a gem - a lovingly restored house, quietly situated with a beautiful view and very close to Bergamo center. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious. Greta and Alessandro are so pleasant and fantastic hosts.

We liked a lot that outstanding mountain view from the room balcony and the breakfasts were just lovely
It was a little difficult for us to reach the Bergamo old town by walking or driving. Because of the narrow mountain serpentine road between the villa and the town

Dimora Delle Donnole was just the perfect accommodation for our family. The house is over 500 years old while furnished nicely and very clean. The view from the room was also stunning. Full of green and also a hill top view of the Bergamo city.
The host family Greta and Alexandro was very friendly and helpful. We were hit by a heavy storm one evening, and they helped to come pick us up by car from the restaurant we were having dinner.
It was a amazing stay. Nothing bad.

This beautiful spacious room on the first floor of a lovely old house has fabulous views from its balcony over Bergamo Basso, the plain and surrounding hills. Elegant furniture, modern facilities, lots of room for clothes, lots of hangers!!! breakfast was amazing on the terrace overlooking the view, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, eggs, juice, fruit salad, yoghurt, and a personal tray of pastries, croissants, tarts, cakes. Greta and her family were exceptionally helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We are not young so it was great to be offered help with taking luggage from room to car. Greta recommended and booked lovely local restaurants for us, one Trattoria full of locals and one fine dining, both only 15 minutes walk, almost all on level ground round the contours of the hill. Although we were only 20 minutes from Bergamo Alto, the walks were between lovely gardens in a rural setting. Bergamo Alto is a real treat too. We look the funicular to the Castello and walked all through the antique centre but hope to return to see more.
All good

Great place hosted by a lovely family. The apartment was two big rooms in a historic building with very high ceilings. Balcony with a view of the valley. Excellent breakfast. Superb location, short walk to centre of Bergamo. Very kind and friendly family . Couldn't dream of a better place to stay in Bergamo.

First thing I liked was that Greta was amazing.
Our communication before and during our staying was above and beyond.
The place was so clean and beatiful, we enjoy staying there so much.
It was only few minutes walking from the old city and from really good restaurants.
My kids loved staying there, and the breakfast was exactly what we needed. Long story short, we enjoyed the place and for sure we will arrive again.
That we did'nt stayed longer.

Very spacious beautiful rooms with very caring owner family - we felt at home and had a lovely holiday staying there - they have a big greeny garden with outside seating area - such a lovely place for relaxing
there is no mosquito the window so the mosquito comes into the room

We liked everything about this property: Greta, our brilliant host, went out of her way to make us feel welcome, especially as we arrived on an early flight. The beautiful medieval building with its superb views & the very generous breakfast that Greta provided.

More than 500 years old house with some original pieces of furniture. However, the house is restored with skill and style. Modern facilities like bathrooms are up to date with the highest standards. Fantastic view across the Bergamo, interesting old road to the house. It is a walking distance to the Bergamo old town if you like walking. However, the family who run the place and lives upstairs is the best. They are very kind and warm personalities. You are served an amazing breakfast in the house's garden (or inside if the weather does not allow).

The house itself was wonderful, very authentic. It has a huge garden which was perfect for us as we travel with a small child. Very close to the city center though a car needed to come here. Good place to rest and relax.
Honestly, the stay would have been great if not 1. Poor breakfast, serving the ‘rests ‘ of the previous day (we stayed for 2 days) 2. The hospitality of the host was not very welcoming - at the arrival asking if we want anything to drink coffee or smth and then charging for it. Asking many times when we leave, just to make sure it is not later than 10:30 because the room has to be clearned for the next guests...

The restored villa is nothing short of gorgeous. We felt we stepped back in time but with all the modern facilities and wonderful hosts. It is a true gem.
That we were charged for canned drinks and snacks. I get it but we felt that was a little much given the nightly rate.

The whole property incl. the apartment are stunning. Greta is a fantastic host! Right after we landed, we got a nice WhatsApp from her welcoming us and sending us her location. During the whole stay she was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. We'll be back for sure!
