We stayed here in April of 2020 and came back in September of 2024. The place was still in excellent shape and an outdoor fire pit and sitting area had been added. This place makes me not even want to leave to go to town for anything; I just want to curl up inside for days without ever stepping foot off the property. It’s so secluded and you never see a soul, and it has everything you need to have a good time. We used the movie room for football, movies, and games on the switch. We went from pool to hot tub over and over. We played pool upstairs, used the outdoor seating area for games and dinner, the rocking chairs for morning coffee, and the double set of appliances in the kitchen to cook and drink. Our party of 10 all had their own spaces as well. I love this place!

We had 16 people - adults ranged from early 30's to early 70's, and kids between 10 and 15 - and there was plenty of room for everypne. The house was even better in person than in the photos! We especially enjoyed the pool and back porch, which has a beautiful view and plenty of rocking chairs. Maintenance responded very quickly when we reported an issue with the toilet, were very polite, and even looked at a few other minor things we pointed out in person. Communication with management was always prompt. It's nice and private, and although you have to brave some pretty steep and narrow gravel roads to get there, it's only about ten minutes from town.
Some minor issues - we didn't see an ice machine although one was listed among the amenities. There were no hot pot holders and only three dish towels, which seemed silly for such a large kitchen. WiFi was spotty which is probably to be expected given the location. Pool table wasn't even close to level.
Even with the issues above, there were daily comments about how great the house was. We would definitely book again! Thank you!

The house itself was nice, but some of the furniture is showing wear and could use updating. Kitchen contained plenty of glasses, silverware and dishes, but little in the way of practical pans. Only had a couple very small frying pans, nothing practical for cooking for 14. Description stated it had an ice maker, which it did not, and there was only one very small ice cube tray. Properly was difficult to get to, especially the last stretch. Road was gravel and only one car wide, with brush rubbing against the cars and a fallen tree in part of the road. View was beautiful! And my grandchildren all enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately other than the fire pit area and the driveway there was no outdoor space for the kids to play. House was plenty big enough with large kitchen, plenty of dining space and many bedrooms and bathrooms all equipped with very nice towels.
While definitely a nice place to stay, I would not return to this particular property.

The house was the perfect set up for our family if 16 to spend the week together in the Smokey Mountains! The view was beautiful, the house was large enough that everyone had enough space. The kids loved the pool and watched a movie each night in the theater room while the adults enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the hot tub! There was a small issue and they were very quick to respond and resolve the issue. We would definitely stay here again!

TL:DR. Beautiful house in a great location but there were some problems
The good: the house is spacious. There were 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, w2 refrigerators, 2 sinks in the kitchen. We never felt crowded. Wrap around deck is great. Pool let the one teenager we had enjoy the stay. We used the theatre room once but it was nice. The house was clean
The bad: There was no ice maker. There was only 1 ice cube tray. The pool rack was broken. None of these items affected my rating. They were just irritations.
The ugly: All of my guests were traveling from the Buffalo and Rochester area. And left on a Saturday for a Sunday arrival. On Tuesday one of my guests tried to wash her clothes. As soon as the washer hot the rinse/spin cycle a LOUD grinding noise was heard and the washer wouldn’t work. I emailed the rental manager and they emailed me back that they wouldn’t be able to get anyone up there until Monday. We left on a Sunday (7 nights). So we had no functional washing machine for the week. On Wednesday 2 of my adult guests got in the

A++ on this perfect beautiful property!!!! On the side of a mountain with privacy but yet all the fun of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountain Park only 10-15 minutes away down the mountain. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and perfect for my Family. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, theater room and pool table were all bonus for my 6 Grandchildren on our down times at the house and kept them entertained. The kitchen is beautiful and the seating in the kitchen again was perfect for our Family, as well as the outside table on the deck. The living room is huge and again perfect seating. We also enjoyed the outside fire ring and again a lot of seating to sit all together. My 7yr old Grand daughter was sad when we had to leave at the end of the week because she said that she LOVED living in this big house with her whole Family and cousins!!!
Don't hesitate, rent this house for a perfect Family vacation stay!!!

Had an amazing time in the at Mountain Cascades. Every year, my friends and I do a cabin weekend in the Smokey Mountains and they all agreed this was the best one by far! The indoor pool was amazing, and there was so much space for everyone! The size of the kitchen was also great for our group since there were 2 stoves, fridges, sinks, etc.. We had the best stay, thank you!

We rent a cabin every year and this one was just straight AMAZING! Everything was clean, there were notes everywhere to give you directions on using things, two of all appliances in the kitchen… I could go on forever. There were two small issues that we ran into (the dryer stopped working). They had someone out there SO quickly for both things and got them resolved. Whenever we reached out to tell them there was an issue, they replied almost immediately! I cannot say enough good things about it. Due to all the things above AND the fact that they respond almost instantly if there is any issues, we will be staying there again, no doubt. Everyone loved it!

The check in process was very simple! And access to everything was easy. The host was VERY responsive to our inquiries during the stay. A couple questions and issues but nothing they didn’t try to make right

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and can accommodate a large group of people. Plenty of room to come together for meals yet can get away for quiet time if you wanted. The pool was awesome, plenty of pool towels. The biggest complaint was the fact that there are creatures (squirrels?) in the walls and ceiling who "played" at night & kept people awake in the front & middle bedrooms on 1rst floor. (They played every night) If planning on doing alot of cooking for a large group, take extra cook ware as there are not nearly enough skillets and cooking pans to do so Take all of your condiments and cooking needs, pick up extra trash bags for the kitchen trashcan - we had 3 for 5 days - not enough. We also needed to purchase extra dishwasher pods (had already brought laundry detergent). Be sure to make sure the thermostat is ON or you might be chilly. The fireplace is awesome and truly heats the entire downstairs. If you tend to be on the cool side in the winter, be sure to take extra blankets as those are few and far between. We did find 2 in the dryer along with the fitted sheets for the sleeper sofa after we had been there a day. Plenty of bath towels as long as you plan to do laundry. Some of the jets in the hot tub weren't working and the water was a bit cloudy when we first arrived, but this cleared; the pool was perfect. Be prepared for a steep, windy, narrow drive to get there, but it is well worth it. Beautiful cabin!

Wonderful Home. Roomy and very conveniently located near town. Recommend to families and all others.

It was a beautiful, clean cabin with a wonderful set up with seven bedrooms, all with their own bathroom! It was more secluded than many and the hot tub, pool and theater room(we used for football games) were amazing! The host was quick with any questions before and after arrival. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because there was not toilet paper in every bathroom and there were no salt, pepper and spices, dish soap, etc in the kitchen that I am used to at other "cabins". It is so nice when you get there and on top of the mountain that you really don't want to have to leave! So if you just make sure to pack those things you will not be disappointed! We had 7 couples there and all want to go back to the same cabin again!

Great home just as pictures show. The views are amazing but with the overgrown trees and shrubs it blocked the view. Property management was super easy to work with and very attentive. Walls are very thin but overall a beautiful home and would definitely stay again.

Property was as described. When washer messed up it was fixed promptly. Plenty of room. Nice pool and hot tub. Kitchen well stocked.
Only negative is all of the rules sent to us and then posted all over the house with loss of deposit as consequence. Having to clean so much after paying a cleaning fee. Tip jar for those who clean.
We had a great time otherwise!

Description was a little misleading online, but we made the most of it and had fun!

Our group of 22 had a wonderful time at this property! The house had normal wear and tear, and felt very “homey”. We enjoyed all the amenities, spending time in the pool, theater room, fire pit and plenty of time in the kitchen! You’ll want to bring trash bags, food storage bags or other storage containers; there were courtesy dishwasher and laundry tablets. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had the best time at this property! The view was simply amazing. It was very private and serene. Driving up to the cabin is a bit challenging on the curvy gravel road, but once you get up there its all worth it. Only issue was a tear in the pool table fabric, one chair in kitchen needed to be tightened. Didnt notice anything other fixes that needed attention. You are still really close to the strip in town and there were lots of attractions and things to do. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

We were on a senior class trip (16 total) and we loved that this house was on spacious acreage and allowed so much distance between the neighbors. We also loved how remote it is (10 min drive from Pigeon Forge?), as we are from a rural area in N. Michigan. The kids (teens) would hike up the mountain top (right next to us) and just sit and look out. The amount of space inside was amazing; I had 13 teens who don't necessarily all get along, so everyone felt like they had their own space. The pool & hot tub were very clean but the pool table was a huge bummer. The table felt has a huge "v-shaped" rip and the whole table just needs to be replaced. The toilet handle broke on the first flush ( by the kitchen) and others felt like they were going to break at anytime, as well. I advised the manager and they responded quickly, thanking us for the info and I don't believe we have been charged for the broken handle. Wifi connectivity wasn't great but we had 13 teens trying to connect and being "unplugged" or having slow internet, wasn't a bad thing as we were only there in the evenings. TV is cable only, no netflix/firestick but overall, this house is amazing! We had a great stay!

We booked this home for a four day weekend getaway with family! The home is as it looks in the photos. Large open area, six bedrooms with each bedroom having it’s own bathroom. The pool and outdoor hot tub were refreshing after busy days that were filled with fun adventures. Location is also easy to get to so many things!

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views! Size, layout, kitchen, kitchen supplies, pool, theater room, pool table, etc. was great for large family gathering. Cabin is located at the top of a mountain and there is a gravel road, but don't be intimidated, it is easy (and safe) to navigate. Be careful if snow or ice is expected, you're not able to get off the mountain due to the icy back roads leading up to the cabin. Just be patient and wait for the ice to melt. Highly recommend for future visitors!

This house was built with a large group in mind. Perfect location and views. Many in our group never wanted to leave the house to experience Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg...even though we did...as the amenities in the house provided for a comfortable and entertaining stay.

What a great destination. My daughter had her wedding here and it was a perfect location. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a get away.

This cabin is fabulous. The remoteness and privacy made this cabin the perfect place to get away with our family. Walking in and looking through the beautiful entryway through the living room and out the massive windows to see just beauty was simply stunning. The cabin setup is perfect for a larger group with a kitchen that will not let you down and allows for multiple people to be cooking at the same time. The kids (and adults) loved spending time in the pool and hot tub. Movie room was perfect for a late night movie and to watch some college football. The location of the cabin was perfect for getting to everything in town without having to get into the higher traffic areas. Sitting by the firepit on a cool night overlooking the valley and seeing a full sky of stars topped off each day of exploration and family fun. Highly recommend this for groups of all ages seeking some time together and wanting to share in the beauty of the region.

Property was as advertised in all respects. A tremendous wrap-around porch that we sat on for hours just enjoying the view and nature. The kids reveled in the pool and theatre and we adults enjoyed both as well. Really enjoyed the dual appliances in the kitchen; that came in very handy several times. It's a challenge getting up the mountain the first time and ait might seem somewhat overwhelming to the faintest of hearts, but after a couple trips it becomes enjoyable. We had a great week there.

Fabulous cabin. Great for families and kids. They loved the indoor pool, hot tub, pool table, and theater. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful property but lacks cleanliness, mouse in a room, recliner broken.
Property is beautiful, a little difficult to get to but management company was easy to work with. We had a live mouse in the far right room on the main floor. We attempted to remove it but it got away so that room was not used by our group. The recliner in the main room is broken and in horrible shape for whom ever attempts to sit in it. For the cost of the house, very disappointing at the lack of cleanliness and rodent issue!

Fantastic Family Reunion
Our family recently spent a week at Mountain Cascades for our reunion. The house was perfect for us all. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Beds were comfy too.
The house was as described. We had no surprises.
I would recommend this house to other large groups. Lots to do in the area too.

Wonderful home for an extended family vacation
We had a wonderful week at this amazing home with our 20 family members! The home was perfect for our three families and three couples. Large enough to spend time together - while also giving privacy. Pool and hot tubs were favorites of everyone! And the home theater is a nice amenity as well. Great communication with the house manager and very clean. There are so many things to do nearby -- hiking, tubing and whitewater rafting in the Great Smoky Mountains, fun at The Escape Room, go-karting, pancake breakfasts... we had a blast.

Leaves a lot to be desired
The property was nice, with some issues, deferred maintenance noted below. The management company/owner leave much to be desired. The overall impression I have from this property is follow our rules (regardless of how nit picky they are) or we will charge you extra for everything. This is particularly irritating when you pay more than triple the average daily rate for the property because it was a holiday week.
Several months ago a previous customer left a long list of items to be addressed. Several are safely related such as loose rail on bridge in pool area. The rail remains very loose and dangerous especially for small children. There is a broken chair in the primary living area, etc. etc. Nothing on that list had been addressed.
There is a big issue with the air conditioning for the multiple levels. The bunk room and one other bedroom on the second floor are very very hot. In order to get any air into the bunk room, the air conditioner is turned cooler on both levels. After the first night multiple people in my group reported they were cold and there were only four or five blankets in the whole house. (I had a party of 23 people.) Upon requesting additional blankets I was told that all beds were "properly dressed" and blankets were only provided for pull out sofas. Not a single bed had a blanket. It took a huge altercation to get them to provide more blankets. After a day's delay we were provided FOUR more blankets.
This property has "rules" posted everywhere. For check out you are requested to vacuum, clean floors as needed, remove fingerprints from windows, etc. Also, if you need trash pick-up and are staying less than 5 days there is a charge. If you are in the condo one minute late past check out you will be charged. This includes even having a car in the driveway. The charge is $35 per 30 minutes per occupant. There are endless rules for checkout posted in many places with the stern warning that non-compliance will result in deductions from your deposit.
In general I get the strong impression that the profit motive far outweighs any desire to provide a clean, safe, welcoming property. This is a huge property and it is being rented back to back for months, with not even a day in between rentals to accomplish minor repairs and maintenance issues.
Finally, be warned that the WiFi connection and television reception is intermittent, and not reliable, contrary to what is noted in the description.

Family Gathering
This cabin was perfect for our first family gathering since the onset of Covid. Our 10 adults and six kids comfortably fit into the bedrooms. The pool, hot tub and fire pit, along with the large dining space, provided places for all family member to enjoy and interact with each other after being isolated for so long. Our entire family loved the week we spent at the cabin.
