Great location for a weekend getaway in Charlottesville. Beautiful and comfortable house. We knew in advance the train rolls by a couple times a day so was not surprised. It was fine for us but definitely rattles the house. A few things would put it over the top. More than 4 hangers for the whole house. Hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Couple sharp knives. Overall a very try nice stay and recommend it.

This property is a great location to the mall. It is walking distance to eat and drink. The weather was rainy all weekend, but if you were able to enjoy the porches the rooftop is amazing. The owner has a great grilling set up and the views from up top are great for people watching!

The house was filthy, had to wash sheets as they had hair and stains on them. Kitchen was disgusting. Could not use coffee pot nor oven hadn't been cleaned in months. Had to buy detergent and cleaning supplies to mop floors and wipe down surfaces. Dust and hair on steps, crumbs on floor. Dishwasher does not work. Spent over two hours cleaning the place. Bathrooms were clean.

Great location!

Walk to downtown mall. Free trolley to UVA is across the street. Lots of space in the condo and outdoor spaces if the weather is nice.

Great location and very cool layout. Mgmt company very responsive to questions. Looking forward to booking again.

Overall it was a decent stay! Our main points:
- place is updated and very cute
- however, cleanliness was an issue. cobwebs everywhere on the floating stairs, corners, etc.
- dishwasher was full of clean dishes, so we had to unload
- coffee maker was missing the basket to hold filters so was unusable
- exposed wiring on porch ceiling fan off of living room
- wifi was terrible unless in the kitchen area
- great, walkable location
Lastly, the description mentions the train, but its significant. It runs at least once in the middle of the, night every night, and shakes the entire unit.

We enjoyed our stay, very cool condo. However it could some cleaning. Lots of cobwebs and dust in the corners and walls. The train wasn’t too bad, Saturday night it came at midnight and shook the building and Sunday at 545am! Other than that, decent location and comfy, especially the beds!!!

Very cute place, the trains do cause some rumbling in the night, but it’s only once or 2X a night. Very good walking distance to lots of downtown attractions. Recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a convenient location to downtown, UVA, and Monticello. We really liked the covered porch off the main floor. Great floor plan (lots of stairs) and high end appliances in the kitchen and on the rooftop deck.

Enjoyed our stay!!!

Stayed here with 5 other adults for a long weekend. The location was perfect (walkable to the downtown pedestrian mall) and the condo itself was modern and roomy with some great luxe touches (heated bathroom floors in the master! rooftop access! wine fridge!). My only complaint is minor: the listing indicated an ice maker, but it didn’t work. A bummer, because we had to run out for ice after arriving. I would stay here again, no question.

I really love this condo. You cannot expect perfection when you aren't completely in charge...so I had to clean out the DW from the last family...no big deal. The cargo train is the only real issue. The first time (9:40pm) it's cute/funny. Then the 2am and 5am trains pass. Each lasts between 7-10 minutes. Darn, I really like this place!!!

the outdoor spaces were fabulous (after we wiped everything down).
the outdoor spaces were fabulous (after we wiped everything down). the location was perfect for us. loved all of the windows (dirty spots, dead bugs and all) and the natural light. there were more than enough plates, glasses and utensils which was helpful (but we did have to clean many first) helpful and easy to communicate with via email (as always)
great instructions on entering house, parking, etc.

Overall a really great experience.
Overall a really great experience. Just to let you know, on cleanliness: A few cobwebs around. Upstairs bathroom smelled strongly of mildew. Those were tiny things in comparison to a really great overall experience. Great walkability, amenities etc. Flawless. The stay team was wonderful.

Needs elevator, better soundproofing, wonderful appointments inside the house, need better explanation of the shade operation, some shades were not functioning, Icemaker was not working, parking was a little cumbersome and loading and unloading was close to impossible!! Pleasant and professional. I wish management would give them a little more leeway in working with customers.

This property is literally 15 feet away from 3 sets of freight train tracks. 2 trains came through each night from midnight to 6:30am. The trains shake the whole building. The trains woke our 6 adults each of the 7 nights we were there. So don't book if you ever want to sleep.
The first 2 days the heat wasn't working properly -mgmt finally just pulled out the filthy air filters and it got better. Still had to set to 80 to get it to 72. They did not replace filters bc they had to be special ordered.
Parking was chaos. Told to park in adjacent garage and would be given garage door opener - never given. Then told we could park in the city garage 2 blocks down but that pass never worked either.
All the lights and blinds are on high tech switches that we never figured out - it was hit or miss.
The last day we discovered a leak under the kitchen sink that someone before us was aware of bc they had put a bowl under it.
We called management each of the first 4 days we were there to get problems solved. Only one of them (out of 4) seemed to care whether they resolved the problem.
It is a beautiful property with a promising location of near downtown mall but the train tracks next to the building makes it a poor choice.

Very swanky, luxurious apartment with great outdoor space! Great views and close to everything!

Other than one night trains ran between midnight and 6am and made the building shake. Also, called to report maintenance issues and never received a response. Checked out and still have not received a response.
