Everything - Location , the room, the host. We so pleased we chose - Cernobbio , small , charming, good restaurants , just what you need to relax. If you want busy 10/15 by ferry to Como.
The host Giovanna made us feel welcome , and her daughter even offered to take us to the train station by her car.
Everything was Perfect for us.

The property was in a good location, close to bus stops, ferry port and restaurants. The room was large with a big double bed and big bathroom. Very clean and comfy. Even had extras such as make remover and cotton pads. The host was very responsive and accommodating of our travel plans. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting just a one night stay like us but would also be perfect for anyone wanting a longer holiday.

We intentionally didn't book with breakfast, but found a nice bar next to Villa Bernasconi. Highly recommended. The arrival procedure was super simple thanks to a key safe with a digital pin, and when we met our host, we really enjoyed her kindness, happiness, and enjoyment in her job. The room is spacious and comfortable and gave us all the comfort we needed for a short break.
Since it's ground floor in a small, but quiet side street, just be aware that you're not booking this room for a view. A fair rating would therefore be 9.5. But seriously, just take your feet and walk around the area. At night when you sleep your eyes are closed anyways, and in Summer the non-see-through glass is is actually a feature to keep yourself cooler.

Giovanna runs a perfect Bnb. She went out of her way to help us travel to the accommodation smoothly. She was incredibly welcoming on arrival. The Bnb was perfectly spotless (it looked likely the whole place was recently renovated). The rooms were spacious with high ceilings. We came home late after a wedding, and Giovanna went out of her way to make us herbal tea at 1am. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. Everything about it was perfect!
Nothing.

First of all I liked the super service of Giovana and her daughter Isabella, very helpful and polite. Very close to the ferry pier to make a boat tour on the lake or to go to Como. The facility is very clean, excellent breakfast and close by restaurants. It has even a private parking.
Everything was o.k

Simple but very clean.
Owner Giovanna is very friendly.
Because we had to leave early in the morning,
she made us special breakfast.
Room is very spacious.
Bed and pillows are comfortable (some may find it slightly on the soft die but doesn’t bother me)
Shower is fantastic.
I only hated the mosquitoes so bring repellent and be prepared to be bitten (the windows are better and the owner has a electric catch) Still, these guys are fierce!

amazing host, definitely the highlight. and her breakfast. great location as well. felt very quaint.
only downside was no AC and it was very hot, but we knew it wasn’t going to have it. the host is amazing and set up a fan in the room.

The host is amazing. First thing she offered us cold water since it was 38°C. She always tried to help us with every question we had and was always very nice to us. Breakfast was great, we got couple of pastries, cookie, yogurt, fresh fruit, jam, honey and butter, cappuccino and fresh orange juice. Our room was cleaned every day from top to bottom. Definitely the cleanest and the best smelling place I've ever been (and I've been to more expensive hotels)! Lake Como is near.
Only thing missing is air conditioning. It wasn't too bad because the walls are quite thick and there was a fan but it still got hot (I visited in July). There aren't any swimming places nearby and it's hard to hike to the mountains without a rental car.

Andrea was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived to leave our luggage early so we could explore Cernobbio to when we left.
She went above and beyond and nothing was ever too much, offering to drive us when there were no taxis (pre book if you can!!!). I could not have asked for more from her. A genuinely lovely touch.
The bedrooms were super clean and fresh laundry everyday was a welcome site after a long day.
Transport to the B&B is difficult so pre book!!
