About this cabin rental

Only two-and-a-half miles from Donnelly and 15 minutes from McCall, this cabin for 13 is surrounded by towering trees and wide-open space. It's great for when you want to forget your stress and bask in quiet woodland beauty. The house is only minutes from Cascade Lake. Picnicking and freshwater for swimming make it ideal for summer trips. If you visit in the wintertime, take advantage of the cabin's location and bring some snowmobiles along! The entire home is available for guests to use except the locked owner's closet.

Summer activities include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, boating, jet skiing, horseback riding, zip line or bike at Tamarack Resort, enjoy a round of golf at one of the four courses in the valley and all the water sports you can imagine.

In the winter, there is skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Tamarack Resort or at McCall's Brundage Ski Resort, sledding and beginner skiing at the Activity Barn near McCall, thousands of acres of snowmobiling, and your own private sledding hill right out the back yard.

Year-round you can visit the nearby Gold Fork Hot Springs, explore the wooded surroundings (the front of the property boarders some beautiful state land), bike, hike or just relax in this luxurious cabin and enjoy the pool table, ping pong table, games, watch a movie or whip up something delicious in the gourmet kitchen.

The cabin is accessible year-round and the roads and driveway are cleared in the winter.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.

Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.

Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.

Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.

Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.

Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.

Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.

Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.

Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.

Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."

Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.

Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.

Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Plenty of parking for four trucks and one snowmobile trailers. Plenty of bedrooms and sufficient bathrooms. Thankfully, no bunkbeds as pictured. These had been replaced in the larger upstairs bedroom with two full size beds. Nice hot tub after a cold day of snowmobiling. Our only issue was lack of wash clothes - not even one per person for a whole week.

We all had a great experience in the snow and had enough room in the cabin to spread out. Close to town and but mountain get away vibes. Would highly recommend!

The house was clean and accessible, a good size for our large family. The post said there would be a bunk bed room, which there was not. Functionally this wasn't a big deal for our bed needs, but my autistic son was expecting to sleep in a bunk bed and it made for a rocky beginning. The setting was beautiful, but someone in the neighborhood was blasting loud music a lot. Not during the quiet hours, but it was still a little much and made being outside a little less pleasant. Managers were very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again.

The house was very clean and in great shape. The hot tub however, was not running on arrival. A crew arrived to fix the hot tub a couple of days after we arrived, and once they left, the water was yellow and said needed a new filter. We left the next morning and we were never able to use it our entire stay. Very disappointed the hot tub was not working, this was one of the reasons we chose this house to stay in. The house itself was great, lots of space for us to hang out and a lovely dining room where we played lots of card games. The Wi-Fi was not strong however throughout the house and only worked in the front two rooms. A back bedroom had a tv with a Roku that we could never get to work since the WiFi didn’t reach back that far. Overall, the place was very nice and we would rent another house from this company, just not this particular location.

6 adults, 5 children, and one infant had so much room , big grassy backyard, modern amenities, comfortable beds, everything you need is there. Jacuzzi for tired adults, close to lake, great family get away.

This house was everything that it was billed to be. Plenty of room for our large group to sleep and stretch out. We especially liked the well stocked kitchen. It had all of the necessary pots pans and griddles to do all of our cooking. Plus it's only 10 to 15 minutes to Tamarack for skiing.

The cabin was amazing! Perfect place to stay and see everything the area has to offer. Wonderful communication by the property manager as there was an issue with the hot tub and with some time was eventually fixes and we were able to enjoy that for one day. Even with the hiccup, I'd stay again.

The location was great, size and layout of the cabin worked wonderfully for our family gathering. The large dining table was especially great for meals and playing games together. The only sub par comment I would have is the beds were not the most comfortable. Overall the space and what they provide in the cabin to meet our needs was spot on.

Very large and comfortable cabin for our party of 13. Very private as well which was a nice change from our usual stay at a hotel. We requested/texted management a couple things and they responded very fast. Everyone was happy!

Property was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone, had a great time. I wish we would have known earlier that the primary heat source was the fireplace; baseboard heating wouldn't warm up past 60. All in all it was a great place and would definitely recommend.

The cabin is nice with plenty of room, but the amenity listing is inaccurate. There is no Kuerig coffee maker, so had to go back to town to buy ground coffee. The ice maker does not work, dishwasher bottom rack is wonky, hot tub leaks and loses water overnight. The motor also cycles all night, which was quite loud. There is a badminton/volleyball net but no ball, rackets or birdies to play. Had we known that, we would have brought our own.There were deer that came into the yard daily, which was lovely to watch. Overall a nice stay but think the cabin description needs to be updated.
