We stayed here for a weekend of boating in Lake Cascade with our group of 10. The location is very convenient and it was only about a 5min drive to the boat launch near Tamarack resort. The driveway had plenty of room for our 4 vehicles and boat with the gravel portion on the side of the paved driveway. Very spacious interior with many nice touches and decor. This was a summer stay in mid-July, but our group still utilized the hot tub and fire pit during the cooler evenings. The house was well equipped with the teens we had that love games and made ample use of the pool table and air hockey in the garage and fooseball in the large bedroom upstairs. Great stay and would use this place again for another boating stay or skiing adventure!

Nice big family area. Kitchen nice and well stocked, hot tub was great, good location for skiing, tubing and snowmobiling. Master on second floor. Beds good.

Our original booking had a flooding issue the morning of our check in. We were give an immediate alternative and it could not have worked out more perfectly.

House is worn. Pictures were taken when it was new. Upper bedroom was unfit for use do to horrible smell and flooding. When we asked about the room smell, we were told with the amount of people we had we didn’t need to use it anyway. Dishes weren’t clean. House needs some upkeep.

We take a week long ski trip every winter as a family and this house had plenty of room for our large group. It was very clean and had plenty of dishes for us to cook with. We made every meal there loved the gas stove top. Do know though that the wifi is very limited in its ability to stream. But we just used a phone as a hot spot that allowed us to stream shows without buffering. Over great time.

Great Experience, lots of space for our big family. The amenities were easy to use, and it was very clean.

Great location. Only 10-15 minutes from Tamarack. Easy check-in process. Responsive management company. House was big enough that we could’ve brought more people. Very clean. Only criticism I have is that we were notified the day before we got there that the dishwasher went out but never had follow up on if it’d be repaired so we washed dishes the whole weekend which was fine. It would’ve been nice to know that no one was coming.
The only other thing is that I wish they had a notebook or something that had a detailed explanation of how to operate the pellet stove, spa, garage heater, and thermostat. Previous renters had experienced issues with the spa being put in to sleep mode and I accidentally did the same thing. It took a lot of Google searching to figure out how to put it back in standard mode. The pellet stove was great but we weren’t sure if we could leave it on all day and the remote kept saying the house was only 54 degrees. The thermostat on the second floor was on a schedule and the first night we
Froze even though we thought we turned the heat up. As it turns out if you turn the heat up and hit ‘ok’ it actually puts it back on the schedule. There is an air hockey table and a pool table in the garage but it was kinda cold and we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the ceiling mounted gas heater. A few basic instructions would be nice to make it a little easier for the renters.
All that being said, it is a great house and plenty of room for all your kids. We would definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful home with a great location.

This is a great house with lots of room if you have a large group staying here. It’s quiet & in a great neighborhood near lake.
The master bed could have more pillows available and mattress could be a little more comfortable, but it’s very spacious along with the master bathroom.
Instructions for the pellet stove could be a little more thorough, but it works good if you can figure it out.
We would definitely stay here again.

This beautiful home had plenty of room for every one to have their space and feel comfortable.

The cabin was clean with a well equipped kitchen. There is no outdoor or patio furniture so you will need to bring your own chairs. No grass for setting up corn hole, we did manage by putting it in the driveway. We enjoyed using the pool, foos, and air hockey tables. Spacious and very comfortable cabin!

Family reunion fun
The property was outstanding. Everybody had enough room for sleeping and the living room and kitchen area were awesome. The hot tub was fantastic and the back patio was pleasant. The only thing I would recommend would be to redo the directions to the cabin as they did not have the actual physical address or the correct street to turn on. It took us a while and a call to the property managers to find a place. Not too big a deal just slightly inconvenient. It is a great place and we would do it again.

Snowmobiling Trip
My group enjoyed our stay.
Everything for the most part was good. Our suggestions for Improvements would include fixing the pool table, it was damaged when we arrived. The kitchen could be stocked with better quality knives, pots, pans, utensils. The hot tub did not maintain temperature when it was in use, so you might have the heating system inspected. We had to limit use and cover it so it would heat up. The beds were comfortable and the house felt clean.
I would stay here again.
Thanks,
G

Fantastic property for large group
Clean, great location, perfect for our large group of guys. We played some great games on the large table, had easy access to the lake, and really close to boat rentals. McCall is only 20 minutes away and Donnelly stores and restaurants are very close. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake!

The home is beautiful and well-maintained. Very comfortable with nice bathrooms, a large living room, and plenty of space. The house next-door is pretty close but they are the only neighbors. The location is very convenient with great access to Tamarack, Donnelly, Cascade, and McCall. Will definitely want to book this home again!

I am trying to be fair with this review. The property management team does answer the phone and does respond, so that is a positive. My big issue is the amount of money we spent for the "days" we were there. Could not check in before 4:00 PM and had to be out by 11:00 AM or you would be charged another day. The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived, asking us to wait another 20 minutes (so we got in around 4:40 PM. They had a showing earlier that day, and evidently some HVAC work done the day before, because the cap to a gas line in the garage had been left off. Thankfully we found it and got the cap back on. The HVAC unit is also extremely loud. When it kicks on, it sounds like someone is starting up a motorcycle in the garage.
The home is nice enough, but we have 4 elderly / disabled people that cannot climb stairs very well. The only bedroom on the main level is small and has glass "den" doors, so everyone can see you. There is a murphy bed in the front sitting room, but again, there are no window coverings, so everyone driving by can see inside. There are a lot of beds upstairs, but the bathrooms are inside bedrooms. So, if you stay in the bonus room, or room off the bonus room, you have to either go into someone else's bedroom to use the restroom, or go downstairs again.
The home is nice enough, don't get me wrong. It is close to the road and you are able to locate it easily. The neighborhood is nice and many places are being built. The house has it's issues like every house does. It just didn't flow as well as I had hoped and was not as accessible for our elderly people. And when you pay for 3 days, you only really get 43 hours.

We were 3 couples that came to Idaho to do some motorcycle riding as well as other outdoor activities. Absolutely LOVED Idaho and our experiences. We really did want to love the house but really could only like it because it needs some TLC.
We wanted to use the hot tub after a long day of outdoor activities but it was filthy. As this was one of the amenities highlighted on the VRBO listing, we were disappointed to not be able to use it. We didn't contact the property management company as it was usually late in the day when we returned and the information we had indicated the property management company regularly checks on the property to ensure everything is in order.
It was noted in several places that trash day was Thursday am and to put out the trash cans on Wednesday night. It's actually Wednesday morning and thankfully someone put the trash cans out for us on Tuesday night but this is something that should be changed on the notices. (it's laminated and posted in 2 locations within the house so we were confident we had the correct information only for it not to be correct)
Kitchen supplies - did someone steal all the spoons??? They also stole all the items for storage so we had no way to save our leftover food each night. This is usually a basic item in other homes we have rented.
The downstairs bedroom that is advertised as a master suite (on the MLS listing as the house is for sale) is not a master suite but a room that was most likely an office and converted to a bedroom. VERY SMALL room with a Queen bed in it.
Sheets! All sheets in the beds we occupied are in need of a refresh and an upgrade. They are Motel 6 quality bedding. For the size of this house and the quality advertised, the bedding was severely disappointing.
Then to end our week, the electricity was turned off when we got back to the house on our last day in Idaho. Per the property management contact, it was turned off remotely for some unknown reason at 3pm. It took a call from the property manager to get the electricity turned back on at 8pm....no great last meal in the house for us. Thankfully, it stays light until 930pm so we were able to get some packing and cleaning up done before we left the next day at 6am.
The location was okay, easy to find and in a nice and safe neighborhood. The house backs up to the only road going into the Tamarack Resort so it's not very relaxing to sit outside as this road is super busy at all hours of the day & night.

We loved our stay! The house was so nicely decorated it felt like home. Plenty of room for a large family to gather in the kitchen/ living room area to eat, play games or just watch a movie. The kids loved the bunk room. The garage had a nice space to play pool, air hockey and hangout. The hot tub was a big hit! I only had one complaint the dryers did not work! The towels were still in the dryer wet when we arrived. So it was a little inconvenient for taking showers. I had packed some beach towels so it helped a little.

In need of a deep clean. When you opened cupboards or drawers the dirt tells you they have not been cleaned for a long time. Refrigerators were visibly dirty and dishes were dirty and plates had food stuck between them. The elk head mount in the living room has a ton of visible dust and cobwebs on it and the living room fan blew dust everywhere when turned on. Took blankets out of ottoman upstairs and found candy wrappers underneath them. There was a very visible pile of dirt and popcorn in the garage/game room under the air hockey table. Pellet stove was not working which made the living room/kitchen uncomfortably cold. Dual oven with only the bottom oven working gave a challenge to cooking. Bedroom upstairs with 2 queens was so hot compared to the rest of the home it was unbearable to sleep in at night. Noticeable chipped tile in kitchen and broken wall decorations upstairs. Overall a ton of wear and tear on a highly used rental. The property sits right next to the main road and the hot tub is situated in full view of the busy traffic and not private. After checkout, we were charged for a snow shovel that was never used or touched during our stay as it hadn't snowed for several days before our arrival and only started to snow when we were leaving so there was no use for it. My mother was going to come with us and bring her dog so we had paid a pet deposit but she ended up not coming due to health concerns and we had no animals staying with us. Property management said that the snow shovel was checked prior and post our stay and that there was evidence of an animal in the house so I was charged for a shovel we never touched and they kept the pet deposit even though we had no pets with us. I tried to talk to them and their reply was only that there was nothing they could do and even told me it is usually the customer who breaks things or brings in pets and doesn't tell them about it. So I would say beware of staying in any property managed by this company as they already have the pre-notation that the customer will not tell the truth and will not listen to you even if you are telling the truth. I have heard of people being in this same situation getting scammed with false charges and makes me wonder if this is the same happening here or just a situation of overworked staff with a broken system of checks.

Hawk house
We had a great time !!! The house is very big and open it is nicely decorated. The stove hood was very greasy and needs some good cleaning the cob webs on the elks antlers keeped falling when the fan was on and we ran out of toilet paper in 2 bathrooms with none to replace . But beside that we had a fantastic time .

The property is wonderful as is the location.
Enjoyed the property very much. Nice to have a quiet neighborhood to relax in and about. House had all the amenities needed with only one hiccup. The pellet stove would not light. Probably just a clogged igniter and really only for ambiance. Not a big deal. Had one issue with management company about broken items but again nothing to do with owner or house. Would recommend this property.
