About this house rental

My former residence is a cozy little 2 bedroom one bath home located on a corner lot in a family friendly neighborhood just minutes from major attractions like Busch Gardens-Water Country. This area is rich with historical sites. Be sure to visit Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The home is within walking distance to the grocery store and many restaurants in the shopping center.

*Note* SMALL DOGS ARE WELCOME. NO MORE THAN 2. MUST BE WELL BEHAVED. I REQUEST TO NOT ALLOW THEM ON UNCOVERED COUCHES OR PROVIDED BED COMFORTERS/LINENS. PLEASE BRING COUCH COVERS IF THEY LOUNGE WITH YOU. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COMFORTERS/LINENS IF YOUR FURRY FRIEND SLEEPS WITH YOU. IF YOU LEAVE YOUR FURRY FRIEND AT HOME PLEASE KENNEL OR TAKE THEM WITH YOU. LAST BUT NOT LEAST PLEASE PICK UP THE POOP.

The space
The house is a simple 1950s family design updated with modern luxuries consisting of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The living room has two sofas, 42” Amazon smart tv and displays a variety of paintings from local artists. The home is filled with trinkets from around the world to inspire travel. The bedrooms have smart TVs for streaming as well. The kitchen has everything you need for home cooking including spices and condiments for all tastes.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home except the garage and outdoor sheds. Please use the home as if it is your own and help me keep it clean and tidy for the next guests.

This was an ideal property for our family. Ryan allowed pets and the fenced yard was great. We enjoyed the deck and close proximity to attractions that we planned. Very responsive owner. Would definitely stay here again!

My family of 3 stayed for a week and the house was excellent! All the major attractions are within 10 minutes from the house making it easy to get around. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood which made for a nice “home base” as we visited the various sites. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and were able to see Williamsburg. We also visited Busch Gardens and Water World. Everything was super close which helped us make the most of our time. Plenty of stores close by for food. But, best of all the fenced back yard for our dog. The house was clean and the air conditioner works great. Would stay again!

The Casita made our stay very enjoyable. We had quiet nights, a nice kitchen, a comfortable mattress and inviting decor. The Casita had a well-organized kitchen, with everything needed to prepare a meal... and there were stores nearby where you could buy your food and also great restaurants within a short drive. We loved the artwork in the livingroom and throughout the rest of the house. Ryan answered all of my questions in advance of our stay.

We walked our dog to a wonderful coffee shop next to the supermarket every morning, ride our bikes int colonial Williamsburg, played golf at the golden horse shoe, played pickleball, and enjoyed happy hour on the back deck. Ryan has everything you need in the house, beds are comfortable, -an excellent overall experience!

This place is always great and the owner is always very helpful and communicative if needed. We've stayed here for 10+ days a couple of times. Ryan was very helpful and responded quickly to our emails/texts. It was nice meeting owner. The location was great being only 5 minutes to downtown Colonial Williamsburg. The couch was comfortable & we enjoyed the nice TV watching Netflix in the evening. Kitchen all appliances worked well - we made most of our meals. Well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

The large kitchen has retro charm but has all updated appliances/backsplash. (Loved the pine wood cabinets in the kitchen because they reminded me of my grandmother's growing up in Newport News). Ryan has worked hard to update the house inside and out and it shows. He also maintains it with attention to detail. Enjoyed looking at the original artwork inside and the original sculptures outside. The support of local community is obvious. Thankful for the recommendations in the book on the coffee table and from Ryan himself. Neighbors on either side and across the street are friendly. This rental is convenient to everything, clean, and comfortably quiet.

Beautiful property! Fenced-in backyard with lots of sitting options on the deck. Quiet. Pet friendly (a huge plus for me!); and Ryan was easily accessible by phone. The home was well-appointed. I packed a cooler and picnic basket for breakfasts, lunches; but the kitchen was ready for guests...coffee, creamer, etc.; and there was a Food Lion just around the corner for anything else. Property was located close to restaurants and minutes away from other family who traveled here for a wedding; and a short drive to Jamestown (wedding venue and Jamestown village). I would absolutely check availability here when i visit Williamsburg again!

This such a great home-away-from-home to launch all our adventures from! Clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked and we made dinner often. The yard was perfect for our dog and the porch was a delight for mo!ing coffee. All the attractions are nearby and convenient restaurants are aplenty. If we ever vacation in the area again, we will stay here again!

Ryan was a very gracious host! The house was extremely clean and the back yard was fenced in and had a deck for relaxing. The house was stocked with paper goods and basically everything you would need. We would definitely stay again being so close to Colonial Williamsburg and many great restaurants!

We were more than impressed with Ryan's property. Plenty of room for all of us, with a surprisingly large kitchen and deck. The location is just enough removed that there will not be a frat party in your back yard but you could drive to one in 8 minutes flat. Ryan was a great host, very communicative. Ryan was a great host and his house was perfect! We have stayed in many properties through vrbo and his house felt like home. He has thought of everything you may need to make your trip easy. The house is centrally located to everything Willimasburg has to offer, yet is tucked away so you feel like you are escaping the business of town. Our two small dogs enjoyed the fenced, beautiful backyard. We give him 10/10 and would book again without hesitation! It is extremely clean and and comfortable. Awesome property!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Casita. Ryan was easy to reach and super helpful. The house is eight minutes drive to Williamsburg and the amusement park. We lounged out on the deck after a long day of sightseeing. We watched movies on both TVs. we made lots of memories! If we ever go back, we’ll stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful almost 2 month stay here! Ryan was a super host, helping us in any way we asked! He was very polite and went up and beyond as a host! We were house hunting to move here from New York. The house was very clean, comfortable, and provided everything you would need to feel at home, including off street parking! The location was perfect for shopping and exploring Williamsburg. We very highly recommend this property! The neighbors were friendly too! We were able to find a house and will be moving here permanently soon! Thank you Ryan for helping make our dream come true!

We had a wonderful stay in Ryan’s house. We loved the creative landscaping without and the thoughtfulness of detail within. The privacy of the fenced backyard was a bonus for our dog. Ryan paid great attention to guests’ comfort in planning this vacation rental. The location is close to colonial Williamsburg, dining, and shopping. We definitely recommend it to others!

This was a very easy place for a "home base." The house was spotless and pleasant. We did suggest to Ryan that "grab bars" in the bathroom would be a comfort. The deck and small back yard were lovely.
