Poor

cheap, close to town, so could leave car there all day instead of paying to park in town. other than that nothing else.

breakfast was rubbish. cornflakes were like cardboard. staff were not interested and wanted to do staff handover at 8am to get breakfast out of the way so they could go home. asked for extra towels as only had two hand towels left in the room for two people, then got nothing but grief for asking for them.. like it was to much effort. not enough pug sockets for the appliances in the room. shower drain was blocked. Not impressed needs work as it is tired.

room with spa was really nice really enjoyed it.

breakfast was very poorly £10 x 2 for sloppy food not really presented well

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would like to return if the opportunity arises.

My daughter relocated to London and we had 4 heavy suitcases that we were travelling around with and Avis Hotel so kindly allowed us to bring our cases to the premises before check-in and after we had checked out. This was a great relief as I am not sure what we would have done. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great, it is value for money.

Nicely presented and in a good location. The staff on Friday evening were really friendly

Our receipt handed to us stated Bed and Breakfast. When we went doen Saturday morning we were told it was only bed on the system. The staff member was rude, and even when they acknowledged the receipt stated breakfast said 'you know what you're trying to do' in a very accusational manner. Ultimately while the receipt implied a service we were offered that was not being declined I would have been fine if they had simply said sorry at any point in the interaction and acknowledged it was wrong. We didn't stay the second night.

Friendly welcome. Location fantastic. Everything else terrible.

Location was amazing. Free parking

The room smelt of cigarettes. Smell kept waking us up. Mattress way too soft. Only one mug and one glass. 1/2 a toilet roll. soap sprayed everywhere when using. Room could have potential if it was cleaned and looked after properly.

I would recommend this hotel for a short stay for a lone traveler such as myself.

Very professional staff, great breakfast - all slick. Thank you Avis.

Plumbing in the bathroom was a bit cranky but room was lovely.

Comfy bed and warm room.

Paper thin walls, could hear every word from the room next door. No room to walk round the beds. Poor TV reception. Restaurant closed but advertised on the website.

the location and room was nice but the room was very dirty the floor was unswept with peanut shells everywhere.

facilities need big improvements or dramatically reduced prices. third time I’ve stayed here and the last

room was not worth £100 a night. walls were paper thin. can hear everything that goes on in the building. Bar????? don’t get me started. should just close it all together. the pint was rotten and no stock of anything. I got more in my fridge at home

good value for money for a short stay

located near the town but in a quiet area. good size well equipped room. reception met my request and f locating rooms on the ground floor. very good service at breakfast, lovely breakfast.

thin walls, I could hear the snores from the neighbouring room. guests parked outside my room with no regard to noise, I didn’t want to hear their music at 2am! we would liked to have eaten in the restaurant but they weren’t prepared, it would have been nice to have known in advance.
