An elegant indulgence along the Camino. If you're tired of the dorms and gritty lifestyle and want to experience a day of luxury and pampering, this is the place for you. It was just what I needed after several days without sleep. My sleep score was in the 90s in this comfy bed! The hosts are so welcoming and kind; everything is absolutely first-class.

Volveremos. Tornarem. Highly recommeded! Super Good!

The fabulous architecture and interior design of this beautiful property, stylishly mix the old and the new together. Respectful of the age of the building, a fabulous contemporary space awaits you at Casa Grande.
The welcome from both the owner and the chef was exceptional and we cannot rate our evening dining experience highly enough. A fabulous gin and tonic at the bar and a wonderful three course dinner :)
Nothing at all!

Outstanding minimalistic design by Francesc Rifé. Beautiful restoration of an old manor house from 1700. Bed was very comfortable, room and hotel very clean. Beautiful garden too.
Dinner was outstanding, prepared by Paola, a chef originally from Chile. The best lamb we have ever had.
Raul and Monica, the owners, made us feel so welcome. It was one our best stays, hands down, on the Camino Frances. I wish we could have stayed a week.

We were greeted by Monica as we arrived, she was so warm and welcoming. This place is a hidden gem In a small village. We had our best meal on the Camino at the restaurant! The chef even made us sandwiches out if our leftovers for the next days walk. Located next to the church so we were able to go to the Pilgrams mass. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it.
Nothing wish all the places we stayed were as great as this one!!

This was as beautiful as the photos looked! I was so happy with my stay here as my treat night in the Camino. Food was delish too! Highly recommend staying at such a beautifully designed hotel, truly unique in this part of Spain.

It was a beautiful combination of old and new.
Some people do not like hearing the church bells ringing every 15 minutes but I didn’t even notice it

The location was one block off the Camino de Santiago.
Above the bed was a skylight from which we could see the top of the cathedral.
Although it did not keep us awake, it may help others decide that the church bell sounds on the hour and half hour even through the night. It is a very gentle clang. Maybe electronic sound.
Offered dinner on site.
They served a late breakfast, after our 7:30 departure. They did not offer to set out breakfast, no one was present early in the morning. This was important and unusual in that, in the town of Granon, there was no bar or restaurant open at 7:30 am. This is a very long walk before your next town with food in the Camino.
The bedroom has a luggage storage compartment with a very low, short height with a piece of wood covering a tube light. We both hit our heads/ foreheads on this board multiple times when reaching for our belongings. The walls are painted black and also the closet/luggage compartments. This needs to be corrected. It is a raw wood edge, not smooth.

It is a beautifully designed hotel that is pleasing to the eye. And our room was large and very comfortable. Also, the hotel restaurant was one of our favorites, as we walk the Camino.

Casa Grande is a lovely find in the small town of Granon near Santo Domingo de la Calzada. it is worth going a little further to stay in this delightful, stylish small hotel with a good restaurant. The bed was especially comfortable and we had the best sleep here.

Belin the hostess was super friendly, cool and very helpful. An absolute gem and asset to the hotel.
The food. Veal cheek and Rioja stew, hands down the best thing I have eaten in Spain so far.
There is no pool! But seems to be a a few uploaded pictures from guests that give the impression of one. Nevertheless the wonderful hospitality of Belin and the outstanding dinner more than made up for this.

When we arrived we were not expecting much for a hotel, but we entered into a experience. The staff was so friendly, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the manager wants to please her customers. Then came dinner. The chef prepared the most amazing dinner. For us it was like being at the Waldorf. Do your best to hold onto this staff, a big property is going to want to hire them away.
Maybe a small sign outside the door saying “wait till you see inside”.

First true four star hotels ever in Spain, matching international standards. Premium property.

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable.
While the Hotel is beautiful, and located in a beautiful small town, nothing else is open on a Monday which I do think the Hotel should have told us at the time of booking. The Hotel bar/restaurant is overpriced but with no other options on a Monday we had no choice. The menu is not vegan or vegetarian friendly.

The room was gorgeous and the dinner at the restaurant may have been the best meal of my life. Cant recommend enough

lighting in toilet was poor!

Absolutely stunning renovation and place to stay. We ate their most evenings and enjoyed their wine choices.
Maria on the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly.
We loved the location in a sleepy village, with Comino trailers occasionally passing by and Jesus bakery goods are worth a visit.
We wished they had a little gym on the property. Given all the wine and food it would be a perfect balance.
