This is our 2nd time at this property and we’ve already booked again for summer 2025. The ladder is in a great place on dock - easy to get out of lake. Great floating and fishing off dock. House is clean, has everything you need to cook with. Great views of the lake and setting sun off house deck. There’s an extra bed downstairs with full bathroom. Which was different from last stay. Great addition. We had 6 adults in our group. We all slept comfortably and had our own bedrooms. Kayaks were great to use. We loved tying our floats to the dock and enjoyed the activity of the lake.It’s a very private location. It much action at all from the neighbors. It’s almost like your own private lakeside paradise.

Overall trip was great, good tip on the fishing, we did pretty good, would love to do it again on one of your properties that have less stairs maybe, two covered slips was great, kept all our gear dry, you were great. Thanks

Heather was proactive with communication. The house was clean and comfortable. Everything you need is in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on the cool evenings during our stay. We also loved sitting on the dock while having our morning coffee and the firepit for our after dinner relaxation. It was a great stay. Thank you!

The house was so lovely! Extremely clean and decorated in very soothing tones. It was so peaceful. The property was beautiful as well. The lake was gorgeous. The owners checked in on us via text to ensure we had what we needed. (Which we did.) We had a really nice time!

We had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights. The house was very comfortable, the kids loved the kayaks and watching the boats, and we enjoyed hiking at Ferne Clyffe. Kids also loved playing Deal or No Deal and Foozball. 😀

My group just wanted a place to unwind and relax for a long weekend. This property delivered. The description of the property is exactly what you get. Many rooms to spread out, beautiful sunroom and deck for looking out over the lake. The hosts were available for any questions and made sure my group was comfortable. I would recommend this property.

All I can say is wow the views were amazing, the neighborhood, the lake house was beautiful. The spa tub was just what I needed and the fireplace. The perfect place to go to get away from your day to day life and unwind. We will definitely be back. If you like wine this is the place to go we visited two not far away and they were great as well.

The lake house was very nice. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The only issue we had was the listing was confusing. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and the basement has the couch that folds out and another bed as well. Also, there isn’t a hot tub as listed, just the jacuzzi tub. Other than the confusing listing it was a great stay!

Stayed here for the Tunnel Hill 50/100 miler. Too cold for the lake but the view was beautiful and the house was cozy with the fireplace. Lots of space & clean!

It was wonderful. Place was exactly as described. Had a great view of the lake. Place was extremely comfy and it felt like "home". Meet the Owner who expressed a strong desire to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Welcomed our opinions. Will definitely stay again if our travels take us that way.

The house on the lake was great. There are several bed rooms but it worked well for two couples too. One had the master bedroom and bath and the other had the downstairs area/bedroom and bath. We used the house as a hub for visiting the state parks and hiking. We didn’t use any of the outside or lake activities but the view of the lake was nice.

Great location for shawnee national forest adventures and the shawnee wine trail. Morning coffee overlooking the misty lake and evening fire with the lights reflecting on the lake made for some most excellent days.

This place is PERFECT! Very clean and had everything we needed. A short fishing trip . The boat docks did not disappoint. We caught bluegill , catfish, and lots of bass. .. Perfect hosts.. thank you

Everything in the pictures posted and reviews were 100% correct! It was so peaceful and quiet. The home was very clean and well kept. The fishing from the boat dock was very fun and entertaining! The only problem, some of the time, was the speeding boats and jet skis rocked the dock quite often. However, you can’t help what other people decide to do in regards to how fast they decide to speed on the water. The owners were easy to get ahold of if needed. Easy check in and check out as well. The propane grill was easy to operate and right at the bottom of the stairway. And for football fans, yes, you can watch football in the spacious living room area!! 5 stars ⭐️ in my book!!

This is our second time staying at this property. Both stays have been excellent. The location and view of the lake are second to none. It is set up well for bringing our boat and being able to park our truck/trailer combination right in front of the house. I'm sure we will be back again.

My boys and I needed a place to stay in Lake of Egypt where we could enjoy fishing. Perfect location, docks were easy to tie up the boat with no worries. Location was close to center of the lake with fishing spots in both directions.

The dock on the lake for our boat was exactly what we were looking for! Fire pit, great views, quiet neighborhood were perfect. Jacuzzi was nice after getting really sore wakeboarding. New carpet would bump this excellent property into a higher tier.

This is our second year staying at this property. It is perfect. Very nice, has tons of room. We brought our boat and there is a great covered dock for that. The kids swam and fished and played with the kayaks. A great time! The hosts are always very accommodating and the house is clean.

We had a wonderful time staying at the lake house. The view of the lake was beautiful and the dock provided hours and hours of fishing for my son and grandson. Everything was great!

The house was great for the seven of us.The grand kids loved the lake and our grandson loved fishing. We were able to rent their pontoon boat for one day and had a great time. Heather and Jeff are great to rent from. The only bad thing I will say is the weather wasn't very nice to us the last two days we were there. We would have rented the boat again, but at least we had one good day on it. I would stay at one of their properties again.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The lake is great for swimming and fishing. The house is clean and has everything you’d need. I don’t think the kids were bored once, which says a lot! We hope to return again soon! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful lake home. I can't tell you how many fish we caught right off the dock. We even caught a few catfish, bass and huge croppies as well as lots and lots of blue gill. Took the bobbers off and fished off the bottom. Oh and we even caught a turtle. Host Heather was great to work with, we hope to rent again next year!
