Spacious cabin feel home, quiet and with a car ideal spot to explore nearby Acadia National Park and nearby town of Ellsworth and other areas nearby.

We stayed here while visiting Acadia for a few days. House was very clean and furnishings were all modern. Complete, clean kitchen. Surroundings were quiet. Located very convenient to the town of Ellsworth; town was just a few minutes away. We were able to go to Acadia all day and this was a nice home base to return to. Internet and TV worked perfectly, ideal for chilling out after a full day of hiking. Would stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Great location just outside Ellsworth and near Acadia NP. Owner was very responsive answering my questions. All four of us loved the unit. We may be back next summer.

It was a great stay at Steven's property. The twin beds might need a new mattress/topper, but the master bed room was excellent! It was close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and we had the best meal at Helens Restaurant. Would definitely come again!

We very much enjoyed our stay; basic, clean, great host, near to Acadia National Park, the Maine Coast as well as Bangor. Ellsworth is a neat small town with lots of local non- franchise eateries, LL Bean outlet and even a Wally World (Wal Mart). We would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay and found the property very clean and incredibly convenient to downtown Ellsworth. The only drawbacks are the master bedroom's bed was uncomfortable and the shower has a big step down which you need to be very careful of when getting in and out. Otherwise the home was great and we had a nice time for my niece's graduation!

Property was as listed. Convenient location to various Acadia National Park locations--halfway between the Bar Harbor and the Schoodic Penninsula. The house was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. Would stay at this property again.

This really is a good “home base” for Acadia National Park. Drive isn’t bad and plenty of places to indulge in lobster. The place had everything we needed, was cozy and well kept. Love the extra touch of leaving the Maine blueberry jam! I’m hooked!

We had a wonderful stay at Steven's quaint home in the woods. He was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were stunning.

Easy to acess, seemed to have about everything we needed, We cooked everynight, plenty of dishes. pans and bakeware. A washer/dryer would be nice,, but Eden's laundromat was clean and not too far away.. Easy drive to Acadia, enjoyed our trip.

This property was so comfortable for us 3 woman. We were gone exploring in Acadia and Bar harbor for a long weekend, and it was so comfortable to come back at night and relax, eat snacks and just have access to the right amount of towels, utensils toilet paper, ect. The fact that we had fans to use in the bedrooms were a bonus!Thank you for everything! Not fancy but just nice inside:) All you really need!

We were happy to find a reasonable place to stay near Acadia NP. The drive was about 45 minutes but it was nice to see all the restaurants and places to stop along the way. The house had all the basics. We did wish we had access to a washer/ dryer and a pot to cook fresh lobster in. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.

The house was comfortable and in a very quiet neighborhood. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth was a hidden gem of great restaurants and shops! Plenty of space for our party of 4, and everything we needed for amenities.

The only thing negative is the bright blinking sensor light outside
It blinds you when it is dark outside

Everything was as advertised - nice property, super quiet area. We travelled to Acadia National Park each day, about a 30 minute drive. The house was clean and well kept. No complaints at all.

Good location. Interior all redone, however back porch entrance bordering on unsafe. A little extra work could make this much more desirable. Also would have liked an antenna to be able to at least get local channel news. May want to consider purchasing new sheets for 2nd Bedroom. Very scratchy due to overworn, cheap and nubby. Location very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay

Clean easy to access. Only wished it had the washer/dryer accessible. And the 2 bath needs a new shower head. The one on it is cracked spraying water on ceiling and pressure wasn’t good . Over all experience it was good

We enjoyed Ellsworth and the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Getting to Bar Harbor was pretty easy and the route was scenic. The outside of the property is not as impressive as the inside. Inside things were new and convenient and very clean. It is hard to find a property with 2 full baths in this price range, so we were delighted to stay here with so many conveniences for the price.

Greatly enjoyed our stay. The home was large, clean and comfortable. Every consideration was taken as to our comfort, kitchen was well stocked and exactly like our home kitchens. Beds were great, bedding top notch, large decking was very inviting. This was one of the best Vrbo’s we’ve ever stayed at.

Found the address and street to be odd as house is not actually on street listed. Not the most modern place to stay but certainly neat and clean would stay again. T he location is very good also.

Just want to thank Steve for a great stay. The house was neat and clean and the beds were so comfortable. Very quiet and the deck was great for drinking coffee in the morning. We came to Maine for a wedding in Acadia park. What a beautiful place. Saw a lot of sites like bar harbor, rockland breaker light house and bass harbor lighthouse. Our favorite place was the Fort Knox observatory in bucksport. Only bridge observatory in the western hemisphere. 4th in the world only two remain open and Fort Knox is one of them. Taller than the Statue of Liberty. The views were breathtaking. Ate at a lot of restaurants. Loved Josie’s cafe at the bottom of the hill from the house, Archie’s lobster, thirsty whale and Testas in bar harbor, and sea dog brewery in Camden. We did alot in five days but it was worth it. Thanks again and would love to visit again.

It was somewhat a weird experience. Read this. The morning of my arrival I had to contact the property owner to give me the address and instructions of how to get into the house. He only gave the address. Guess what? He gave me a wrong address. An non existing house number on a street close by. After waiting almost 30 minutes going back and forth on this street a neighbor with a flashlight came out of the house and asked me what was wrong and he pointed a house on this close by street where people know from different cars and people staying there. That might be the house you’re looking for he said. Different street name and a different house number. So I contacted the owner of the house to asked him for the door code. Weird don’t you agree?

First the good. The bed in master bedroom was comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is very dark. Low wattage lights in whole place except for floor lamp in LR. Crappy shower head in master BR. Previous occupant's eggs dried on stove. Cable is a joke there is a ROKU. WIFI is OK. Fire alarms went off twice for about 5 min, for no reason in the early morning. Fridge was dirty. Pubic hair on toilet and in shower. I had to use plunger on shower drain after standing in 2 inches of water after first shower. The give you ONE garbage bag. No cover for large frying pan, Scant amount of dish and hand soap. It WAS better than camping.

Everything is as described, the host is quick to reply to messages, and I would stay here again.

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and the friendly communications and helpfulness of the host. The two beds in the small bedroom were a bit challenging: We are all short people and it was difficult to climb over the railing on one bed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
