After not being able to see much of our family the last few years we wanted a special place to get together, 1 Salt Spray Lane was it.
Shea and his family have everything you could need for a memorable vacation in an incredible location. Cape Elizabeth is 5 min to the best parks and hikes, less than 20min from Portland and only 100 yards from the areas almost private beach.
It was a great house we will never forget and we felt very comfortable in.

Such a convenient spot
The house is perfect for a family gathering with young children particularly well housed. While not directly on the ocean, there is a view from a couple of rooms, but the location is very fine. Located in a great quiet neighborhood, some of Cape Elizabeth's finest beaches and parks are very close. And, if you crave some town time, Portland is 15 minutes away. The house is not a grand luxury experience, but a comfortable family home with lots of nice touches. Landlord was very responsive in fixing a couple of things very quickly. Recommended.

Wedding week in Maine
Excellent location!! Beautiful beach and easy access. The Murdocks were easy to get ahold of. Kitchen was well appointed. Only down fall is one single bed in 3 of the bedrooms and noisy upstairs floors.

Friends and family Cape Elizabeth getaway
We loved this house! Modern with all the amenities. The ocean view from the master bedroom, the front porch and the elevated backyard was a daily treat. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We will definitely return next summer.

Awesome getaway
Super great location, close to beaches and Portland and nice spacious house and plenty of bathrooms for 9 of us! Kelly and Shea were great hosts and very accommodating and fast communication if we had any questions.

Family reunion
Long awaited reunion by the shore in Maine. The house is located across the street from the beach. Incredible views and quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The house is fully equipped plus everything kids could want for activities. Hot tub was a bonus. Great place to stay.

Beautiful location with room to spread out
This house is located in a suburban neighborhood (albeit a very upscale one), but its beautiful water views make you feel you're more isolated. The hosts provide most thorough and helpful information on their website and in an online manual. Everything was as described. Prospective visitors should know the stone steps up from the driveway to the front walk are very steep and could be challenging for someone with mobility issues. (However, a more accessible entrance could be through the garage, which goes directly into the lower level/basement.) Shea and Kelly's home was an ideal spot for a quiet vacation during a pandemic. Several lovely beaches (with surprisingly warm water) are a very short drive away. Nothing in the area was ever overly crowded. We hope to come back and take advantage of restaurants and attractions in Portland, post-quarantine.

Family vacation
We had no problems with booking our stay. The house was beautiful with great views. The property manager was very accommodating. We all felt very relaxed here. We enjoyed our time in the house grilling, cooking lobsters, and having big family dinners. At night we would play games and just relaxed. We did eat out and shop around the area. Highly recommend
