Sea Salt Retreat-Renovated Townhouse Steps From the Beach.
Welcome to Sea Salt Retreat, a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 Bath, totally renovated townhouse minutes from the beach. Amazing location. Luxury finishes. Fast WiFi. A quiet beach is a 3-minute walk (1.5 Blocks), Publix grocery and shopping plaza are across the street. Restaurants, bars, shopping, and Pier are a 10-minute walk. Perfect split layout for groups or extended family.
As you enter, there is an immediate feeling of calm with light-wood tile floors and a chic beach vibe. The first bedroom, "Aqua Surf," is just past the foyer with a queen bed, TV, and private bath featuring a shower-tub combo. It has a door to a small tropical courtyard with a seating area and a barbecue grill.
The second level opens to the main living and kitchen area, with a white kitchen accented with brass and gleaming quartz countertops. The dining area seats up to 10. The living area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, hanging chair, 60" television is the perfect spot to gather as a group or cozy up with a good book. This floor also has a 1/2 bath and a stacked washer and dryer for convenience.
The top level features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The door to the right leads to the "Chic" twin bedroom, which has a natural vibe with a grass-cloth wall and pops of color on the headboards. It is excellent for kids yet sophisticated enough for most adults, featuring a small balcony with a top door lock for safety, an oversized dresser, and a large TV. A dedicated full bathroom with a shower is immediately adjacent.
"Waves," the master suite, is decorated in blue and white shades with a retro feature wall. A king bed, tall dresser, and TV round out the room. The spa-like bathroom contains a shower and stand-alone tub, white textured walls reminiscent of ocean waves, and blue glass tiles. "Waves" is a true luxury retreat.
Although the unit has one parking space, we do not use a car here. Sea Salt is a 30-minute/ Uber/Lyft from the Fort Lauderdale airport, and the entire area is very walkable, even offering a free trolley. The beach, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and liquor store are within a 1.5-block radius. There is a park and playground within a few blocks, and you pass a friendly fire station along the way for those of you with young kids who may enjoy checking out the shiny red trucks! The center of town is only a ten-minute walk, and you can find many fantastic restaurants, bars, live music, shopping, etc. From casual to upscale, the ocean to the Intercostal, it's all close by. Take a stroll along the Pier, grab breakfast, or spend a little time fishing. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is a special place, spend enough time here, and you may never want to leave!

We traveled to Lauderdale By The Sea for a family event . The location of this townhouse was perfect! Publix is a 2 minute walk , the beautiful sandy beach is 1.5 blocks away. Restaurants , bars , ice cream parlours all a quick 10 minute through a residential area. The accommodation were wonderful with very comfortable beds, very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, dishes , pots/ pans . We will definitely look to return to this beautiful beach getaway!

Great location, well stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils, adequate supplies provided, very clean and bright inside. Outdoor space is small and only 4 chairs provided for unit that accommodates 6 people. We also purchased extra beach chairs to use for our vacation as only 3 provided. Lots of beach towels and beach cart is great. Would recommend this VRBO based on location and amenities.

It’s such a lovely townhouse, charmingly updated and comfortably furnished. The location couldn’t be more perfect—around the corner from a small shopping plaza with a grocery store, pharmacy, and great restaurant, and a short walk to the beach. The cute nautical décor is a bonus! Had a fabulous week here and would love to return!
Be aware that the communication can be confusing. For example, a form for credit card information for a deposit is required, even though a deposit was made through VRBO. (A call to VRBO clarified that the form should not be filled out.) An iron and ironing board were listed as amenities which we were counting on, but the website had not been updated to reflect that the owner had substituted a steamer. Checkout times and instructions about washing towels before departing were different in the multi-page contract, the emails, and the house book. Response times to any questions we had were reasonable.

This is my first time using this service and we have been fortunate to find this property. It felt like home. Amazing location, walking distance from the beach and many restaurants, night live music all over the main street. Beautiful property and very well equipped, we had everything we needed. The communication with Sabrina is AAA+++. Check in and Check out process is impeccable. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back soon. Thanks for everything Sabrina.

The property manager was wonderful to communicate with. We encountered horrible weather causing disruptions to our trip and the property manager and host were very accommodating and thoughtful.

We found the townhouse to be pretty much just like it was advertised. The bedrooms are on the bottom floor and the top floor, with the kitchen and living room on the middle floor. It is a very short walk to the beach. They have beach chairs available to use, and a cart to put them in, making it easy to go to the beach. There are many restaurants and bars withing a fifteen walk, and a grocery store just down the street. You really don't need a car for your stay.

This is a great location with easy walk to the beach and supermarket. The home was well stocked with both kitchen appliances and beach equipment. Sabrina was very responsive as well.

We stayed a week at this townhome. It was very clean and well decorated. Our likes included a great kitchen with everything you needed and more. Super nice. And while the owner states only starter goods provided there was plenty of necessities. Also nice beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and towels too. And I saw things like pack and plays and gates and more. Well provisioned! We enjoyed the great location, close by the grocery store, some restaurants and a few blocks to the downtown central district. The beach access was a short three blocks and very convenient. Walking in the morning or evening was a delight and felt safe. The upper porch was nice but the ground floor patio, sandwiched between the house and the fence, was very shaded and felt dirty and very uninviting. Other concerns were that the pillows were lumpy. Also, the Wi-Fi was so so and if you need VPN and Teams meeting connectivity it may be a problem for you like it was for us.
There was only the dining room table so if you needed a better (quiet) work spot, it would have to be a bed. We bought a small table to provide a different location to put a computer. But if this is a vacation you will be fine; if working, beware.
Also the written house rules were extensive and included washing and drying the towels prior to departure. That ended up not being a requirement once we received the departure rules so why create the confusion in the first place?
Finally, the a/c went out for over a day and while it was fixed in 24 hours and the communication with the building manager was good, the owner did not reach out to apologize for having us endure a difficult 85 degree overnight stay temperature.That was disappointing.
So…many good things but we would think twice before returning.

We booked this property quickly since our stay on Vanderbilt beach was cancelled by the hurricane damage. It turned out to be a great property. We loved the proximity to the beach and to the Publix grocery store where we got out snack and lunches for the beach. Also, we walked 1/2 mile to all the restaurants downtown. The kitchen was so well organized and stocked! The beds were very nice as well. Loved the beach supplies provided. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place if you need to get away and relax! The location was easy walking distance to the beach, grocery store and pharmacy, and to a good selection of restaurants. The townhome was clean and well maintained inside. I only wish the patio and grill would have been better taken care of. There were enough branches and leaves piled along the fence line that we were concerned we might meet an "unexpected visitor" out there so we decided not to use it. The grill had also been left uncovered and dirty so we chose not too use that either. With that to say though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is a beautiful place and wonderful location!

This property is beautiful and very well appointment. It is as nice as the pictures. The beach is 1.5 blocks away, and the heart of Ft Lauderdale by the sea is a beautiful 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.
