This beautifully appointed studio apartment sits in a back yard manicured garden, of a lovely home situated in the foothills of Altadena. Equipped with a full kitchen, full size refrigerator, microwave and washer/dryer, outdoor seating and dining area, gas barbecue & fire pit. Quiet neighborhood, near hiking trails. A 10-15 min. drive to The Rose Bowl, Cal-Tech, Old Pasadena, Huntington Gardens, Occidental College, JPL and Pasadena Convention Center. Walking distance to Altadena public golf course. First and foremost, COMMUNICATION with both Stacey and Matt was consistent, quick, factual, and hospitable-before, during, and after our stay! The cottage was perfect for our first Mother/Daughter getaway (as adults). The space and yard were clean, perfectly sized, and breathtakingly beautiful. Parking was plentiful and all directions to the location, to restaurants, and other suggestions for things to do were spot on! We can’t stop telling friends and family how great our stay in SoCal was!

Stop. Look no further. There’s no use, because you will not find better! I am an avid researcher and I have unrealistic expectations for where I stay. This beautiful, breathtaking, meticulously clean cottage, and the host, exceeded every single expectation! From the glorious gardens to the homemade baked goodie I received upon my arrival, I truly felt as though my fairy godmother waved her magic wand to help me find this amazing “Home away from home.” Have faith and feel confident in booking your stay here. You will love it so much, that like me, you will not want to leave!

This was an ideal property for our 4 days in Altadena/Pasadena. The place is very tastefully designed, we’ll-equipped and immaculate. Stacy was a gracious and attentive host. Great experience all around.

A nice stay, private and quiet. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed the warm California weather. Stacey’s coffee cake is great!

This is a beautiful, quiet garden studio with all the amenities inside (full kitchen with Expresso maker) and outdoor seating with a nice BBQ and fire pit. Great location close to the Rose Bowl and Pasadena. Owners were very nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend and return again.

The garden inn is perfectly and beautifully appointed with ever consideration and convenience. The neighborhood is lovely and near many places we were visiting. We had to extend our stay due to inclement weather, and our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. They thought of everything and made great suggestions for activities. Oh, and then there were the baked goods! Yes we'd stay there again and can't wait. Cheers,Niki

We loved staying in Matt and Stacy’s garden cottage! Everything we needed was there and the garden was beautiful. We really enjoyed exploring the Altadena area. And, Stacy’s world famous banana bread was such a special treat too!

My wife and I were in town for 4 nights for a wedding and sightseeing. Wanted a "homier" experience than a hotel. So happy we chose this place. What a gem! Everything we needed. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, awesome espresso machine, lovely private garden - so peaceful! BBQ grill, firepit, this place has it all. Cozy, nicely decorated, plenty of drawer space and a charming wardrobe for hanging things. Comfy bed, though I found the duvet a little heavy for So. Cal. Sonotube brings in welcome daylight. If you like to sleep in you might want to bring a sleep mask. The neighborhood is very lovely and quiet. We loved the tranquility, sitting outside in the garden enjoying an espresso and listening to the birds. So nice compared to a hotel. Our hosts were delightful, very hospitable and very respectful of our privacy. They had a wonderful treat and half-n-half in the fridge for our morning coffee! We were welcome to use the grill and let our hosts know we planned to do steaks one evening. They had everything we needed set out for us on the patio table to enjoy a nice back yard bbq, including a gas firepit. Unfortunately traffic at Santa Monica forced a change of plans that night.

I had a great stay! They owner welcomed me and gave me a quick rundown of the space. She also baked delicious cinnamon bread and left a vase of beautiful flowers. And let me with butter and cream in the fridge. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc... The sitting area was so comfortable and yard was stunning. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. I highly recommend.
