About this cabin rental
Have the best and most unforgettable vacation with family or friends in this cozy and beautiful cabin ON THE LAKE!!!. Come and have fun any time of the year. Fishing from our dock or the shores, kayaking, skiing, or just relaxing and enjoying the view from the largest deck ever. One half is covered and the other half is open. The tennis court is one block away. We are in a gated community, so it is very quiet and yet is very close to everything--restaurants, shopping, and the Sunrise Skiing Resort.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our two teens and another family. The four bedrooms were perfect for the nine of us. The house is in a perfect location on the lake and the kayaks were so nice to have. We loved having dinner on the patio and enjoying cool evenings outside. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely book this stay again!

We were all quite pleased with this wonderful, 2 story, property. It allowed my wife and I privacy in our first floor bedroom while the kids and grands had theirs in the 2nd story.
Lots of drawer space along with 2 sliding door closets, in our downstairs accommodations.
The bathrooms were perfect. Ours had a jacuzzi tub which added to the relaxation of our vacation. My wife could soak while I was in the adjacent shower.
The kitchen was ample sized and featured a workhorse of a gas range. The side by size fridge/freezer provided more than enough space. We found all the kitchen gadgets we needed for our meals.
Adjacent to the kitchen was a laundry room with a newer style washer and dryer. While we didn't have the need, its wonderful to have, just in case.
The kitchen table doubled as a game table, where we spent each night laughing over What do you Meme or UNO.
Of course, if dining al-fresco is more your style, take it out to the spacious porch, as it features both a glass top table with chairs and a shorter coffee-table with padded patio furniture.
There are 2 outdoor grills. The hard line grill is trickier to light, so be sure to have Jose show you the process. While he's there, have him show you how to light the outdoor gas fireplace.
There is a path that leads down to the private dock, where you can do some fishing, but I recommend taking a short walk to the dock over by the tennis court, as it provides deeper waters

Check in was easy. Host is slow at responding. Landscaping not well maintained with weeds in front yard and rear landscaping lights broken and not working. Upstairs toilet ran all day and night, interior fireplace didn’t work and the large built in grill still isn’t working. This was our second stay here.

Washer had dirty rug full of water, and sink had dirty standing water. Broken gate to dock would not open. Ants in the house. No dish rags, only 2 wash rags. Fan in bedroom upstairs didn’t work. But maintenance man Jose was good.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely go back. It is a charming house and very clean. There are also kayaks available to use and toys for kids to keep them busy. The covered deck with fireplace was very nice and with gates at all the entrances, it is very kid friendly. We had a wonderful time!

On the way up car problems got here late called the manager Jose who escorted us in on the checkout had emergency at home called Jose again to help with the key. He was hospitable kind and caring, we apologized to him for bothering he said it was all good.
In between the issues the home was beautiful and clean we all had a ball

My family and I stayed in a beautiful, well appointed cabin in Lakeside, AZ on Bald Eagle Drive. The cabin was lovely and well stocked. We did have trouble checking in because my "Wifi" and E-mails weren't coming through. Had to call VRBO to get entrance. The heating upstairs needs some work--but everything else was lovely. We would definitely return!

This was a surprisingly great find! We were a little nervous because the pictures and some previous reviews weren't all amazing- BUT - the cabin was clean, it was literally on the dock where our kids hung out to kayak, paddle board and fish! It is located in a bay and at the end of the bay is a beautiful creek. The deck is huge and amazing!
Inside was spacious and well equipped. The freezer did have a chunk of ice at the bottom and it tended to lightly leak (nothing big). Water pressure in the downstairs master shower was not very strong. The 2 bedrooms upstairs actually had queen beds, not a queen and king.
The owner was quick to respond to all communication.
The cabin is located in a quiet community but also a few miles from Safeway, Starbucks, Walmart, fast food and gas stations. Our family had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Great Place with fun for the whole family. Enjoyed hanging out on the deck and fishing on the pier. Would definitely stay here again. Awesome experience, enjoyed every minute of it.

Paradise! This cabin is absolutely beautiful and the deck breathtaking. I've been staying at different cabins in this community for years and this is my absolute favorite. It has everything you need and more. From spacious rooms to kitchen utensils. The property is very well taken care of and is astonishing. The pictures don't do this place justice. I was very happily surprised at the lack of bugs for being right on the lake. Having the availabilities to 5 kayaks was so perfect so we did not have to bring ours. I will definitely be staying here again, and I will be referring all my friends to this little piece of heaven. The host was so nice and helpful. Thank you to the owner for sharing your marvelous property and allowing us to create wonderful memories.

My family was absolutely blessed with our second stay here. It says a lot when everyone asks if next year we can spend a whole week! The host and the property manager care about the home AND about the guests wanting each stay to be comfortable and trouble free. If you are Looking for a beautiful lakefront property that is perfect for a family, this is the place.

The stay is very convenient with a dock and kayak and paddle boat, the neighborhood is really nice as everyone waves as they drive by. It is also very peaceful and quiet. Fishing isn't far at all. The home has a couple needed updates we incurred a couple items in which I messaged the property owner and didn't hear back. However, still a good stay overall

First, the patio and dock are great!
Check in. Got the directions the night before we left. Good thing because VRBO system went down and we had no way to communicate with the owner on arrival day. We opened the front door and was surprised to not have a do and don't do information sheet. In fact, there was nothing inside that told us what they wanted us to do upon checkout, i.e. pull sheets, turn dishwasher on, etc. Nothing.
Inside, was definitely livable. But let me go through a few things we immediately found. One of the living room lamps will not work because the on off switch is gone. Several overhead light bulbs are out. Lighting is dark inside because of this. Several screens are missing from the windows negating the ability to open the windows to get air inside which is a big problem. Clean towels were inside the dryer. Clothes from the last guests were found in the dresser drawers in two bedrooms. One dish towel for the week. Sour cream and cottage cheese in the refrigerator. Refrigerator is iced over on the bottom and it melts water onto the kitchen floor which we wiped up constantly. Found underwear under the master bed. No extra toilet paper or paper towels. But, this is the worst. Upstairs bedroom had bloody sheets and both had hair on the sheets
Called owner, mgr came and said hes had trouble with the cleaning service. Gave us new sheets. Apologized and took notice.
Owner needs to come get things fixed, mow/weed the backyard.

This cabin was awesome. Right on the water. Fishing from shore was great. We even brought a small boat and had it tied up to the private dock our entire stay. This place has everything you need. They even had fishing poles and a tackle box to use if needed. Very clean and fully stocked for cooking. I am definitely coming back here.

We have stayed on Rainbow Lake before and it never disappoints. It is a short trip from the Valley and this property is on the lake, with a dock. Even in March we were able to fish and enjoy the outside patio. Plenty of room for everyone, had everything we needed and we got the right amount of snow - got to see it and then it disappeared. Had a great time. We are booked for the summer and look forward to kayaking and fishing. Thank you Shannon!

It was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Host was extremely communicative from start to finish. The cabin was very clean and deck and dock were both brand new. Loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning as the sun rose. Also the back deck was wonderful at night as well as we used the lighting and the cornhole set to our advantage! :)

Beautiful Home (needs repairs) and Beautiful neighborhood. Lake was to low to do anything, we were looking forward to fishing off dock and kayaking but could not do either from property. Home is Beautiful but needs a lot of repairs, gas fireplace inside did not work or could not get to work. Gas fireplace outside could not get to work. Pond outside was not working, just stagnant water setting with tons of Mosquitoes which made it so bad we could not set outside at Dusk. No check-in or check-out instructions inside of home or no instructions on how to work anything. Mini-splits work but malfunction.
Overall a good time with our Friends, just wanted to fish and Kayak, wasn't told about Lake till day before check-in. Disappointed in that most of all.

Coming from Phoenix, the temps here were amazing. It rained, which we loved. We hung out on the spacious covered patios. So fun to be on a lake in AZ! Pretty neighborhood. I had no idea the drive there was so beautiful.

Ideal Spot on Rainbow Lake
Everyone in my family loved this home. There were so many positives above and beyond what a guest expects in a host’s home. There was an abundance of everything, from well stocked cupboards, to recreational supplies (paddle board, kayaks, fishing poles, tennis rackets), to family games, supplies for a young child (high chair, crib, baby gate), two little bikes for younger ones to ride on, and spacious rooms throughout the home. The owner was so kind in communication and the property manager was equally kind. We were completely satisfied with our stay.

Nice Property for a fun getaway !!
Nice clean with plenty of rooms. Although fishing on the deck was poor but we did enjoy the use of kayaks and paddle board. We do recommend this property and plan to return in the future.

Great family vacation
Our family had a great experience at this cabin. The back porch and dock were perfect for our active family. Everything inside was clean and ready for us. The backyard was overgrown and walkways were not easy to walk down, but other than that we would go back again!

The cabin is beautiful, very clean and organize. It's beautifully decorated, it has everything you would need, the kitchen was well stocked, it has plenty of room for us, the chimney keep us cozy and warm, the outdoor view in the deck is amazing, the kids were fascinated with the ducks and fed them. A very nice quite neighborhood, would definitely stay again and recommend.

Beautiful cabin on the lake
My family enjoyed our stay. Cabin is very nice. Beautiful view out the master bedroom to the lake. Only problem was the gas fireplace didn’t work and wasn’t fixed while we were there. Would definitely stay there again.

White mountain treasure
Our family loves Rainbow Lake and this property was a quaint getaway with lots to do! We brought our own bikes, kayaks and fishing poles. The neighborhood has great roads for bike riding with kids and had a tennis court. The home was well equipped with racquets and tennis balls to play with. We enjoyed the monsoon storms from the sprawling back patio and played card games for hours. The home had internet and tv for the times we were ready to wind down. There were some minor leaks in a skylight but nothing we couldn’t handle and added to the cabin fun! We would definitely love to stay here again.
