About this apartment rental

This is a Studio flat, with its own entrance. The upstairs loft is the only other guest rental in the building. You have a separate entrance, patio, bath and bed. The studio is ADA compatible. Kitchen is minimal, with induction hot plate, microwave, tea kettle, a keurig one cup and a toaster oven. (Fridge, too!)You can walk everywhere in town, from this cozy spot. Mt Shasta rolls up at night, but the train does pass through. Large bathroom with shower. Internet, TV , heat and air!

This place is perfect! It’s adorable, had everything I needed and more. Not a party place but if you’re looking for a nice, quiet stay close to everything and turn the corner for an amazing view of the mountain, this is it! ❤️ can't wait to book for next years conference!! 😊

Everything was easy, clean, and comfortable. Exactly what I hoped for. The only negative I can come up with is that the sink was slow to drain as mentioned in another review.

Like the studio but can hear every step and sound from upstairs. Modern decor, but could remove 2 or 3 of the many throw rugs (I rolled them up while I was there). Not sure why they were there as the painted cement floor was attractive enough. Little pressure in the shower and bathroom sink doesn't drain well. The bed needs to be replaced (too soft and unsupportive) and the one over stuffed chair was too soft for me to sit in. I used the kitchen chairs for sitting. Kitchen sink tiny but everything else sufficient. The landlord was great and responsive. The place just needs a little modification.

The unit appears to be recently renovated and it has been very tastefully done. It is well lighted and is kept very clean. It is walking distance to everything in downtown Mt Shasta. It was very quiet at night. Excellent view of Mt Shasta

The space was perfect in every way. My husband and I have stayed at several places over the years, and this is our favorite now. It's conveniently located, the bathroom is big with a great shower, and the kitchenette has everything we needed. We will definitely return!

This cozy bachelor studio with high ceiling makes this unit look spacious. The generous snacks, beverages and the doTERRA essential oil diffuser as well as the comfortable bed, it’s a home away from home. This studio was super cute and cozy! The heating unit works great and the extra floor heater and heated blanket were great for the winter. Our water did go out on our first full day but Jessie was super responsive and made sure it came back on as soon as possible. Overall great experience!

Our staying at the Chestnut Garden Flat was beyond expectation. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and located in a convenient area, Downtown MT. Shasta. The Host Jessie made everything possible to make our staying enjoyable and comfortable. We will surely plan to be back soon. The place was very quiet, but the train tracks are not too far, sometimes we could hear the warning horn but did not bother or wake-up us during sleep. Highly recommended place.

Jessie is awesome! We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and well positioned get-away in Mount Shasta. So many activities and a snow storm. It was gorgeous and added to the adventure. We will be back soon!

This spot was so cute, convenient and smelled good! There were even little snacks and juice boxes. It had pretty much anything you’d need for a couple day stay!

This was an ideal spot for my solo weekend stay. It was lovely and easy to be in downtown, with restaurants and shops just a block away. When there was an issue (upstairs unit neighbors were loud the first night) I was appreciative that the property manager contacted them as soon as I reached out to her the next day and the matter was solved.

Communication with the host was super clear. Found the place easily and loved the off street parking. Self-check-in was easy (although working the lock takes special instruction and practice). Lots of light, and good window coverings. Comfy bed and couch. Kitchen had what we needed for simple cooking. Great, safe location just 1 block off the main street with several restaurant and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

Jessie’s studio rental had all the amenities in a rental and more. From snacks to chilled drinks in fridge, to toiletries and parking in front of property, renting vrbo makes it more worthwhile than staying in a hotel room. Jessie, you are the hostess with the mostest!

This place is the perfect location in town. Easy to walk to anything. It’s got enough of a kitchen for me to cook all the food I want. Nice space to hang out in. Great front patio. Open windows and cool breezes at night (and air conditioning). Beautiful garden out front. Hummingbirds, honeysuckle and a view of Mt Shasta when I headed to my car! The host went above and beyond and was great to work with. I’ll definitely be back!

Loved the studio so much! Tastefully and comfortably outfitted and just a great space to come home to when you’re dirty from hiking and paddling all day…sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine afterwards too ❤️

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Jessie's studio. The place was spacious, clean, and well appointed with amenities. We particularly appreciated how warm and toasty the studio was despite the below-freezing temps outside. There is even a heater in the bathroom! Communication with Jessie was easy and she was willing to accommodate flexible check in /check out times. We'd definitely stay again!

Jessie has created a very sweet, upgraded environment with lots of nice touches, such as retro looking small appliances in the kitchen, Italian-looking tiled shower, a variety of different bed pillows so you can be sure to find one you like, and a fridge stocked with milk,cream, orange juice, and izzies. I would definitely recommend this place. Jessie is also a great communicator.
