About this house rental
This amazing NEWER home (2020) has all new furnishings. Within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants, it boasts of outdoor living space with full deck and views of Kalamazoo Lake just across Lake Street. “Under the deck is custom-block patio with an under-deck roof”, No leaks during any rainstorm-- plus a TV with SONOS, two speakers to serve patio, natural-gas fire pit and Weber propane grill. Interior is all natural maple flooring, top quality cabinets with quartz tops, Gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances. All bathrooms have ceramic floors and showers. The Carriage house (above garage area attached to house by deck) has living area, separate bedroom, bath, mini kitchen with microwave and mini refrigerator. There is also a sleeper bed in second-story loft and in carriage house. Everything in this home is quality custom craftsmanship, with nothing held back. All TV’s in home equipped with SONOS. There is no comparison to it in the area.
*Note*. Photos and virtual tour were done just days before window treatments were installed in all bedrooms and bath with windows. Also, TV installed on patio, additional landscaping, and landscape lighting have been added since that time. I have scheduled updated photos and virtual tour when weather in 2022 is conducive to highlight these upgrades.

This property is just as described and as you see in photographs. It is comfortable, clean, amazing location, and comes with an abundance of towels! We had a fantastic time and Tom went above and beyond, even helping me with a delivery that was delayed in transit. We hope to be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Great location to walk to town and close to Oval Beach. The home is very well decorated with everything you need to be comfortable. Tom responded quickly to our questions. We already booked again for next year! There were 13 of us, ages 1-67. Everyone loved it!

The house is great for a bigger group and is exactly as presented in the photos -- new, clean, well laid out. The kitchen is pretty decently stocked with cookware, glassware and utensils. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor spaces are very nice, easy to access and well designed. There is parking for 5 cars which was really nice. We will definitely stay here again.
There was one small confusion on the check-out time. Our VRBO agreement was for 11:00 check-out but the notes left on the counter when we arrived stated 10:00. The cleaning crew showed up around 10:35 a bit stressed that they were late and needed the house. I showed them our VRBO terms and they started cleaning the upstairs which was already vacated, so not a big deal ultimately. Communication from ownership was otherwise clear, timely and helpful.

My family enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. Cleanliness of the house was exceptional. It was a perfect location for walking into downtown Saugatuck. We all enjoyed the outside patio with plenty of seating for everyone. Overall, the house met all our needs and expectations.

We had a blast! Tom was amazing every step of the way. I had a lot of questions prior to our stay and he was very attentive and responsive. The house is beautiful and in such a great locations! The beds were very comfortable and we loved spending time around the fire pit! Thank you so much. We are all talking about the next time we could come back and staying at your place. My cousin had the best time ever at your place. A lot of memories, laughs and happy tears were shared. Thank you!

The home was amazing-every last detail!! Also this property is in a perfect location-parked cars and didn’t touch them again until the drive home! We had such a wonderful time here enjoying it with lifetime friends. Tom was great to work with and so accessible and responsive too! We come to Saugatuck at least 1x / year and I would love to come back and stay here again.

We had 9 adults stay for a wedding and it was truly the perfect home. Everyone had their own space and then some. Tom was great in communication. House is very close to downtown Saugatuck, as well as downtown Douglas and Lake Michigan. We would highly recommend!

We rented this house to celebrate my bachelorette party and it was perfect! There was plenty of space for 12 people and amazingly, the kitchen never felt crowded. All the furniture was comfortable, the outdoor spaces were lovely, and the fire pit was a breeze to use! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space

There are times you check out a property online and then experience something much less after you arrive… that was absolutely not the case with this home. It was outstanding in every way! Kudos to everyone involved starting with the Property manager. This home lives up to its billing. Our family of 14 spent the week in downtown Saugatuck… about a 10 minute walk from this home. Boating , restaurants and shopping were all convenient. This was a “Wow” for us.

Great property. We had a great time. Only problem was last morning when fire alarm went off for no reason. It was on at least a couple hours waking up some of our family. Fire dept. came & they could not turn it off. The only appliance on when it started was coffee pot so have no idea what the problem was. Other than that all was good.

The house was perfect for our large group (eight adults + eight kids). There are lots of beds (and sofabeds and sofas) for everyone to sleep on. The home appears to be newly built. The grill and the fire table were nice amenities, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. Proximity to downtown Saugatuck is perfect - just a 5-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Check-in and check-out were easy. We loved using the Sonos speakers out the patio. Overall this is a beautiful home in a great location for a large group looking to enjoy Saugatuck.

Our family, 7 adults and 4 children ages 2 years to 2 months, had a fantastic stay. The house is large with plenty of room to gather, as well as space to retreat for rest. The house is in a quiet spot but just a few blocks to restaurants and bars in Saugatuck. The house was very clean and outfitted well. I would happily book again. Thank you!

Gorgeous, massive property. Group of 15 of us stayed, super spacious. Loved the outdoor space with fireplace, plenty of patio furniture, and tv/sonos. Super close to downtown shopping/dining area. Only feedback was lack of toiletries like body wash/shampoo (not a huge issue, just something most VRBOs have so just forgot to pack enough). Would 100% stay again!

The location is amazing, the house is a short walk to Downtown Saugatuck, with its delightful shops, restaurants, and chain ferry, and a short drive to both Oval and Douglas Beaches. The house was clean, comfortable, full of all the necessities we could possibly need for the week. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a wonderful vacation! Two thumbs up, 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend, 5 stars. Thank you so much!

I had a group of 12 stay at Tom's property and it was stunning! The home is beautiful and has great entertaining space, both indoor and outdoor, and plenty of space for sleeping. We found ourselves drinking coffee outside each morning, either on the upper deck or between the house and garage. The home has everything you'll need - including plates and cups for a crowd, a giant pantry and refrigerator. The only thing I wish was provided were small bathroom toiletries: shampoo, body wash, etc. The location of this property is to die for. We walked back and forth from downtown Saugatuck multiple times as it's only a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you're going. We also enjoyed Oval Beach which is less than a 10 minute drive away. Tom was a wonderful host and was always quick to respond. Check in/out was smooth as well. Would highly recommend this property and hope to vacation here again soon!

Family vacation
We had our family vacation with 4 families and 14 people stay at Tom’s house and had a wonderful time. The house itself was fantastic and more than enough room for all of us. The additional living space over the garage was a huge bonus! It was extremely clean and beautiful inside. We spent a ton of time outside by the fire or on the patio (even when it rained we could sit in the covered area and still enjoy the outdoors. The location to downtown was a huge bonus as well. We would walk down to eat and shop every day.
We would definitely stay at this location again if we were to come back to Saugatuck.

Fantastic Layout and Location
Perfect for multi-family groups or with parents/in-laws, with multiple master suites and a separate apartment above the garage. Fantastic location: 10 minute walk to the center of town. Spotless and well-appointed. The gas firepit in the back makes for a perfect end to an evening in town. Pro-tip: the 2nd floor master in the back is surrounded by trees and has a very relaxing luxury tree-house vibe.

Excellent experience. Everyone enjoyed staying at the home. The home is very well designed and decorated. We found the home to be clean which was very important to us. Top of the line appliances . Great outdoor space and plenty of parking. Also great location within walking distance of downtown. This was our first Vrbo rental and it was a great experience.

Clean and modern!
This property was super clean and modern! Check in was simple. So refreshing to have something so new and fresh for a beach rental. The house itself was beautiful and perfect for our needs. We didn’t quite realize it would be on a busier road which is some thing to note if you have small children or seek a more secluded location. However that detail was very minor. otherwise, was a perfect stay from start to finish!
