Clean, quiet property was exactly what we were looking for on our Yellowstone family trip.

All things supplied that we needed. Comfy beds and peaceful surroundings. Pleasant owners. Met them since this is an apartment attached to their residence. It wasn’t an issue for us, but you may want to be aware that the shower is TINY. It is about a 25 minute drive in to Cody, but we found it a lovely place to stay to attend the Cody Stampede Rodeo, 4th of July parade, Buffalo Bill museum as well as venturing into Yellowstone through the East entrance.

We thoroughly loved everything about our stay here. The location is quiet, we were able to open the windows for a cool breeze and felt so relaxed. We looked forward to our next stay!

We stayed three nights and enjoyed our visit. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was a bit cramped, and the shower was small and hard to move around in, but we made it work. I noticed others commented on the sheer blinds. We were concerned at first as well. However, when outside looking in you can't see through them. Would stay here again!

I loved staying at this little cabin-type spot. Just steps from the Shoshone River. Very compact, with tiny bathroom and shower, sofa and breakfast table and kitchenette all in one area. Separate bedroom, with a huge bed that was very comfortable. About a half hour from east Yellowstone entrance. I would 100% stay there again. Check-in was easy with code. Abby from Cody Lodging was so friendly and was at a number easily accessed. I would definitely look at other properties with this group.

Very clean. Awesome log cabin and just right size for a couple. Beautiful drives to Yellowstone and Cody were very convenient. If we could change anything, wish bathroom was larger.

The only negative is no storage for clothes. Only 1 drawer available. Closet was fine. I would prefer a full kitchen and grill.

Quaint log home apartment located on a beautiful, private piece of property.

Grat location
The property was amazing. It is a good base location to travel to other points of interest. It was so....so quite! and the scenery was indescribable. I'm not sure it would be suitable for a family with kids that like to play outside or want to cookout, but we were on the move a lot. For a couple, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place. Also, I highly recommend the Bill Cody Ranch a few miles away for breakfast , dinner and horseback riding.

Very comfortable, quiet place to stay. The sound of the river along with wildlife in the yard make it a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. It’s a 30 minute drive thought the Shoshone Forest to the east gate of Yellowstone. Only complaints would be the tiny bathroom, lack of wifi, and lack of a grill or stove to cook a meal on (bit of a drive to find a restaurant). However, the quiet beauty surrounding the location of this place more than makes up for its shortcomings. Book it and enjoy getting away from it all!

As a VRBO host myself, I cannot say enough about how amazing this property was! Advertising was spot on, wonderfully decorated with added special touches, every amenity supplied, and if I could pack the king bed in my suitcase, I would have....maybe the most comfortable bed ever! But the beauty around the property overwhelmed me. It was so quiet and relaxing; I was sad that we had booked only 2 nights. 20 minutes from Cody and 30 from Yellowstone...it was our our gateway. Thank you so much!!

Great spot with wildlife and beautiful views Small microwave and frig in unit. The owners are on the property and your unit is separated by a door but they are lovely and you still feel on your own. Only wish we had a toaster or someway to cook small meals during the stay since the closest restaurant is about 20 miles away.

Just as described—super clean and lovely cabin with a gorgeous view. The drive from the cabin to Yellowstone is as picturesque as the park itself. Watched the wildlife visit the nearby pond. Perfect size for two.

Great and tastefully furnished cabin
We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed our time. Very well maintained property, we watched deers and birds. On your way to Yellowstone I strongly recommend breakfast/dinner at the Pahaska Teppe, just 3 miles before the East Entrance.

Perfect if you're looking for quiet and beauty
My husband and I decided on this property as our primary jumping off point for Yellowstone. We wanted quiet and solitude not far from the East gate of YNP. We also wanted to be able to prepare and store some food for breakfast and lunch. The property was clean and beautiful with a small fridge and microwave. Furnishings were modern and comfortable. The sounds of the river lulled us to sleep and the mountain views greeted us upon waking and at the end of the day when we returned from our adventures. Minimal internet but enough for vacationers who are truly trying to get away. We were halfway between Cody (a fun town!) and the gate, so about 30 miles either way. The Wapiti Lodge very close on the same road was a great place for dinner (they open at 4:00). My wish list for this lovely place are super minor things: Bigger waste baskets would have been helpful and a drip coffee maker rather than a Kuerig. We loved it here!

Lovely Get Away!
We had a wonderful time at this little guest house. The property was attached to the owners larger home but it felt like our own place. We had our own entrance on one side of the house with a HUGE open field the kids loved to run around and play on. We also had picnic dinner out there. There is a door in the living room to the main house but it's locked and looks more like an owners closet so we really felt like we had our own place. The owners Dorothy and Alex were very friendly and talked to us about the houses' history and waved in passing.
The "cabin" itself was very clean and you could tell they really paid attention to details from the beautiful wood inlay in the floor to already supplied tea and coffee for a keurig. This was a pretty well stocked kitchen for a mini kitchen with soap, sponges, dishes, utensils, and even a drying rack. We also asked to owners prior to bring a small grill because there is only a microwave and mini fridge and we used that to cook burgers and chicken.
Oh and the cabin was only about 30 min from the Yellowstone entrance so we spent a couple of days in the spectacular park and also had an AMAZING horseback riding experience at UXU ranch down the road towards Yellowstone.
Overall this was a lovely get away in the middle of uncertain times.

Cozy cabin near Yellowstone.
The room was right next to the river and mountains giving you an amazing view. When we first arrived we stood outside admiring our surroundings. We stayed here because of its proximity to Yellowstone and it lived up to all of our expectations. The inside was clean and well decorated. They even supplied us more than we needed with necessities. The fireplace and quilted blankets made the cabin cozy.
The 10 o’clock bedtime listed was a little weird but we weren’t going to be up that late anyway because of walking around Yellowstone all day.
