About this house rental
Enjoy the perfect getaway on a brand new cabin on a 18 acre ranch. Enjoy 360 views from inside the cabin of the Absaroka Mountains surrounding the property. Located in the beautiful town of Wapiti, Wy. Drive down the most scenic 52 miles in America as you reach the East Entrance of Yellowstone which is only 32 miles from the home. A perfect destination for hunters, hikers, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing/ zip lining. You can bring your own horse for 50 a night which includes water and hay.Welcome to our beautiful ranch. We have chickens, horses, farm dogs for our guests to enjoy. We welcome all our guest with farm fresh eggs.
This new Cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is an open concept kitchen, living, dining room area. It comfortability sleeps 8.
The space
The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own bathroom. The shower is accessible and has a sitting are if needed.
The second bedroom has two queen beds with stunning views of the Mountains leading to the back patio.
There are two patios. One facing the west and the other one faces the east.
The fenced in patio in the back of the home has plenty of room for guests and their pets to take in the picturesque mountains. At night guest can enjoy the beautiful night sky and get a glimpse of the milky way.
The patio also includes a gas grill ready for entertainment.
The kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, and electric stove. The pantry has all basic utensils and pots and pans for guest to cook while they enjoy theirs stay. There is also plenty of space for storing any pantry items.
The living room has a 45 inch tv and has dish for guests to enjoy programs after their long day of hiking.
The home also come with a stacked washer/dryer combo so laundry will not be a problem.
We welcome all guests to bring their horses as we offer a separate pen adjective to the home for an additional $50.00 per horse/per night. The fee covers hay and water.

Amazing views, we loved spending our evenings relaxing on the patio. Ray was a brilliant host - friendly and helpful. The photos on Vrbo do not do this place justice! It is so much better in real life! This is the best accommodation that we stayed in on our trip in America!

What a wonderful property with all the amenities and more than we could have asked for. It’s a little slice of heaven in Wapiti. We used this Vrbo as a base camp for Yellowstone and our kids wanted to leave YS and come back early to stay here. The horses, dog, chickens and rabbits were all friendly. Ray was kind to our children and entertained their multiple requests to pet the animals.
The house had all the amenities you would typically have in your own personal home. Washer and dryer was a plus too! We will be back here when we are in the area!

This lovely home actually rates higher than 10 stars. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully furnished, it provided a perfect place for our family visit to the North parts of Yellowstone National Park and Cody WY. There were lovely views from the common rooms and bedrooms. The night sky viewing was spectacular. The well designed kitchen was fully stocked with staples and utensils. farm fresh eggs were a thoughtful and much appreciated surprise. The full sized washer and dryer were high end models that perfectly met our needs. Two bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. WiFi strength enabled us to download maps and related travel information. We left reluctantly after a perfect stay!

This place is a hidden gem! The place was very clean, comfortable for our family of 5 and had all the little extras…coffee, tea, spices, and more. The hosts are great. They were super friendly and talkative as well as very quick if we needed anything. House was conveniently located between Cody and Yellowstone. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

We traveled with 6 kids ages 2-16. Clean is very important to us as the babies play on the floor. Ray’s home was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. We loved the fence patio area, individual temp control for the rooms and the kitchen that was stocked. Incredibly quiet at night and felt very safe at the property. Would come back asap and not change a thing!

We were looking for a house that would accommodate us and our two dogs in a rural environment close to the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
When we chose to rent Ray's property, we had no idea how our expectations would be exceeded by far. The house was very new and clean, it has a fenced in yard, and the first thing we saw in the morning were mountains. What more can you ask for. Thank you Ray for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved this cabin. It was very comfortable, very well decorated and made you feel like you were at home. The cabin had everything we needed and the views were outstanding. We used as a base camp for 4 days in yellowstone and went to Cody a couple of days. It was a great location between the two. The owners Ray and Colleen were fabulous and even provided us with fresh eggs! We highly recommend this property for a wonderful Wyoming vacation!!!

The cabin is a beautiful structure, well appointed, beyond clean and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable one. Great set up with fenced area for dog, patios facing east and west with comfortable outdoor furniture. Big open windows to enjoy the magnificent views.
We used it as a base to go into Yellowstone and Cody and it was a perfect location for our needs.
Owners are very friendly and helpful.

This house and it’s surrounding are absolutely beautiful! Pictures can’t even begin to capture its beauty. Very clean and the owner is very hospitable. He went out of his way to make sure all of us (including my 2 and 4 year old) enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone interested in visiting Cody and Yellowstone.

Was a little confused at first on checking in. The owner lives on the property and came out right away with a dozen eggs in hand. She explained everything and let us be from there. Felt right at home rhe whole stay. Beautiful view right out the living room window. If we come to Yellowstone again, I will definitely stay here. I will recommend this place to others as well.

We absolutely loved this property! It was great for a family of 4 going between vacation destinations of Yellowstone and Cody. I've already been recommending this property to family and friends.
The only recommendations I have (from prior VRBO houses we've stayed at) is to send out set instructions for check in and check out. Maybe a week before check in and a day or 2 before check out. One place we stayed sent us a code, then we typed it in a key drop box by the front door to access the property keys. Then returned the keys to that drop box at check out. I was nervous driving so far without feeling we definitely had a house to stay at. And we didn't know if anything was expected of us at checkout, so we cleaned up a little and took the trash out. Not sure if we should have stripped the beds or thrown anything in the washer?
So long story short, I'd 100% recommend this property! The only issues were due to my OCD... LOL!

We had a fantastic time at Ray's guesthouse, it far exceeded expectations. The location was perfect for the fishing trip we had planned on the Shoshone river. 5/5 stars!

If you are looking for a place to stay that offers beautiful scenery, horses and a beautiful home, this is the place for you! The house is wonderfully decorated and more than comfortable. Ray provides most everything you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife and looking out at the stars. Petting the horses and feeding them treats was awesome and Ray even gave us a little surprise with them! Overall, we give this place a 10/10 and cannot wait to come visit again!!

Ray’s place is excellent and very clean. It sits on a nice piece of property close to the highway with gas and a few restaurants nearby. It’s also secluded enough to get away from city lights and traffic. We spent four nights here and went to Yellowstone each day. I wish we would have had more time as Ray recommended several other things to do in the area. We will definitely be back to visit again.

This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4 visiting Cody and Yellowstone. Ray was a great host. Cabin is clean and well stocked for anything you might need. Beautiful mountain views all the way around. We arrived after driving through Grand Teton and SW Yellowstone. Spent 2 days in Cody and then left early to head back into Yellowstone and Wapiti was a great location. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The place was beyond our expectations. I’ve rented many places through VRBO and this was just the best experience! We loved the location.The views were breathtaking, the cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated… did I mention the views? The host was so kind and inviting. We are already talking about going back to stay in the near future. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!
