About this farm stay rental

Our country home/lodge is nestled on several secluded acres of meadow and woodland. Our large field is home to wildflowers and wildlife. The large bay windows and large porch allow for the most relaxing atmosphere inside and out! The home has a full patio , along with a custom built fire pit and comfortable chairs surrounding.
*Gas grill, lawn games, and trail walk all complement a relaxing retreat to country living.
*Bicycle along through the Salem County farm country.
*Canoeing and kayaking in the Salem River.
*Horse back riding/ horse care can be arranged nearby.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place for a girls weekend. We spent two fabulous evenings chatting by the fire pit. Just a great overall setting. The property was beautiful and perfectly appointed. John and Cheryl were wonderful hosts. Thank you!!

The house was absolutely spectacular. We had a wonderful time staying there. Saw some wild turkeys, deer, and I believe a hoper right in the backyard of the house. The house is spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated as if your in the country. We did our best to leave it as clean as possible. If we ever come back that way, we hope we will be welcome to stay there again. It was absolutely fabulous there.

House was in a area that was close to all the amenities needed for our stay. Looking forward to our next retreat. This house has all the comfort needed for a quiet getaway to plan meetings and have a relaxing time with nature.

A group of six adults stayed for three days, two nights. The lodge was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. It was lovely, cozy and well stocked for all our needs. The host was attentive and available with one text.

We had a wonderful few days stay at this very private and cozy house, it is very comfortable and has everything you need to feel like you are home. Hanging out in the back yard was very calming. There were does and bucks running in and out of the woods behind the house, so beautiful to watch. The host and hostess were very fast to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely book with them again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

My husband and I got married in September and needed a home to rent for family in the area. There wasn’t many options as Elmer’s a small town. Just as we thought they would have to travel up north for a hotel we found this hidden gem! The owners were very nice and even called to let us know there would be the annual fall festival in town, warning us there could be traffic. It made my wedding truly special to have all my family members in the same house again. Would highly recommend as the home was very clean and had plenty of fun activities from the bonfire pit and yard games to the basement with pool and ping pong. Thank you again for making our wedding weekend so special!

My family and i enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was well designed, clean and family friendly. The hosts were very kind and accomodating. We traveled with a two year old as well as her grandparents and all were comfortable and enjoyed their stay, from the beautiful front porch to the game room and provided crib and activities. If ever in NJ, wod stay again.

The Lodge at Game Creek is like a Hallmark movie! Wonderful place to unwind and catch up with family. Incredibly clean and comfortable the hosts really know how to make you feel welcome as soon as you drive up the driveway. Property and house are well maintained. So glad we found this gem in south Jersey. We look forward to our next stay!

Our family stayed there for our son's wedding in Wilmington. Perfect location to get back and forth to the venues. The house is amazing and even better than the pictures. Everything is clean, neat, and care was taken to leave bottled water and coffee. The AC and some lights were on when we got there. Very comfortable and an enjoyable stay. We hope to get back there sometime for other family events. Thank you John and Cheryl.

My friends and I stayed here during the Northeast Regional Sporting Clay Tournament at M&M Sporting Clays in Pennsville, NJ. This was a fantastic location. The daily drive was only 15 minutes. This lodge was perfect for what we needed. The rooms were comfortable and the amenities were well appointed. We had a garage that we could use to store all of our gear and plenty of room to spread out in the kitchen and living room when hanging out or watching TV. Clean towels and linens were provided as well as toiletry items. Coffee every morning was provided as well as clean utensils and coffee cups. This home was very private. The closest town was approx. 3mi away and we found a few nice places to grab a drink and a good bite to eat. Our host make the check in and out process very easy. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this country lodge at Game Creek. We had just rented another VRBO home in Amelia Island and had been extremely disappointed in it – so we were quite worried about what we would find in Pilesgrove. We were incredibly delighted with the lodge – as others have written, it was clean and welcoming, warm and cozy and extremely convenient to our kids in Woodstown. Our grandchildren loved playing on the extensive lawn as we comfortably watched from the great front porch. We will definitely come again and again – thank you John and Cheryl.

From moment we arrived the home exceeded our expectations. The excellent cleanliness, top notch decor, home layout, cozy feel and great location of the home was welcoming and beyond value of the price. The Owners definitely created a comforting setting and allowed us to be at peace throughout our stay. We felt like we were at our own Home away from Home as there were too many amenities available to count. Even on the exterior the back yard layout, furnishing and fire pit helped Elevate our getaway. We used the home for a small Women's Ministry Mentoring Retreat and definitely felt the setting enhanced our fellowship time. Messages from Owners were timely and informative. We also appreciated the information booklet in the home to help us best use the home and know what was available nearby. Definitely a great location and one that compels you to use again as it's a great home, great location and helps to create great experiences.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It was just as described, clean and ready for us when we arrived. We brought our whole family and there was plenty of room for everyone. The game room in the basement was a center point of activity. We even hosted local family for a gathering with plenty of space. My families biggest comments were “you need to rent this again next year!” Thank you

Stayed in the lodge while visiting family in the area. The lodge was perfect for our needs. It was super clean and so beautifully decorated. Truly feels like a home away from home with a fully stocked kitchen (Keurig and drip coffee pots!), comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a great game room in the basement. Loved the peace and quiet of the location! The hosts are fantastic!

Excellent location. Very accommodating host. House had everything that we needed and more. Host had a book outlining things to do in the area. Close proximity to all things that I enjoy (food, ice cream, Cow Town flea market, drug store, farmer's market with excellent produce, and highway back to my family). Lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of a 6 generation family reunion. Thanks for everything!
