Nice house, enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Great location on the lake. However if you have jet skies and/or boat, the water can be very rough round the dock because it is not in a no wake zone. They can get knocked around if tied to dock. No complaints.

Two families and adult child friends enjoyed 2 nights stay.
The home was stocked with all that was listed and more. The decor is eclectic and well loved - so perfect for hosting families.
The dock house with the slide was a huge hit and the kayaks and canoes were taken out with joy exploring the islands and lake shore. There were life jackets and some floaties in the boathouse.
Older reviews talked about broken furniture- but there were new plastic chairs.
Our only issue was that we were offered a late check out but did not see it on email till after 6 pm the night before. We went on the site to accept and pay for the extra 4 hours till 2 pm (a much needed extension for our crew to get moving, pack up and clean up, but apparently even though it was confirmed on the pay site, it didn’t go through to be communicated to the cleaning crew who arrived at 10 am. They were very kind and said they would come back later.
Over all an amazing trip. Thank you.

Overall we had a good stay…location and property is great. Well equipped with a nice dock, game room, and plenty of space. Unfortunately the oven did not work for the entirety of our stay…a technician came to check it out but couldn’t fix it as it was and issue with heating element and was not able to get the parts needed….this was pretty frustrating as we anticipated on cooking quite a bit. There are not a ton of restaurants to choose from around the area and it takes a good 15-20 minutes to get to any from the house. To make matters worse, the toaster oven/air fryer was pretty wonky…it would randomly shut off when we would try to use it and had to constantly check to see if it was on and cooking.
Other than that we had a good stay, just wish we didn’t have those issues.

Let me start off by saying we had a wonderful time at this house/lake. We walked in to the scent of fresh cleaning products and the home was pretty clean. Beds were comfy and the views amazing. What we were disappointed with was the amount of things around the house that didn’t work or stopped working while we were there. The vacuum, toaster oven wouldn’t get hot after a few uses, door handles to the slider were broken, ice maker, keurig was hit or miss, almost all of the Adirondack chairs were broken, bench on the canoe was propped up with a piece of wood, seat on the kayak was missing the back, lounger on the dock deck completely broken, the ladder to get out of the lake kept falling off as my kids were on it. The outdoor furniture is not what is depicted in the photos on the website. My kids were pretty bummed there was no basketball net as we were told. I would recommend either changing the photos or updating the outdoor furniture. The kitchen needs a spring cleaning… too many mismatched pots, pans lids, odd kitchen gadgets. For a free weeks stay I’d offer to declutter the place! ;) Even with the broken items and random clutter, we still had a great time and it was fun making jokes about it! I’d also suggest to renters to clean up the yard prior to your check out… we arrived and there were broken water balloons all over the yard which I think is a renters responsibility not the cleaning crew. Again…great time and if the above items were fixed I would return.

This use to be our go to house. But not anymore there are so many things that need to be upgraded. We would not recommend this house.

Loved the outdoor amenities! The deck, boat dock, grill and fire pit! Kitchen was awesome - had everything we needed. We had a great stay and would book again.

The location on the Lake was great

My husband and I stayed here this weekend with 8 other friends for his 30th birthday celebration! The home was beautiful with many options for things to do on the beautiful lake. We used the hot tub, went on the lake with the canoe provided, and the guys loved using the slide off the dock! There was plenty of space for sleeping arrangements for all ten of us and the beds were very comfortable!
A few things could use some improvements. When we arrived we noticed one of the sliding glass doors handles was broken, making it unusable. Most of the chairs at the fire pit were broken. Chairs on the deck were broken as well. We enjoyed using the canoe close to the shoreline as no life jackets were provided to use. The bottom rack of the dishwasher was broken off the track making it difficult to open and close to wash dishes.
Overall, we had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay catching up with friends and enjoying the amenities!

Location was excellent! Home is in need of deep cleaning and spraying for ants ! We did enjoy it just few things need to be addressed-

Really enjoyed the dock despite the rain.

The location is gorgeous. The house is run down and broken. So many problems made our vacation a bust. Don’t bother staying here. Go somewhere else

The house was a great size and perfect location. Canoe, kayaks, hot tub, boat house, fire pit, and clean linens. Some issues with cleanliness. Downstairs tub had fist fulls of dog hair in it. I dont blame the owner. House cleaning should have cleaned it. Material issues that need to get fixed. Downstairs bath toilet paper holder is hanging off the wall. Downstairs patio door has 1 bolt in the handle and is impossible to open like that. Dishwasher gave an error code and wouldn’t work when trying to do dishes. Did all by hand. Honestly those are minor complaints compared to how much fun we had and how beautiful the property was. Beds were great. A little outdated, but its a rental and didn't expect anything more than the pics suggested. Would definitely stay again. Created a lot of great family memories there.

Our family enjoyed staying at this home but whole heartedly agree with many of the other reviews that it’s time for a refresh- starting with the downstairs main bathroom 😉. I would totally stay there again! It would have been nice if the fireplaces worked too. Updating the welcome book is also a must. Having a local map and suggested restaurants/things to do - even in the winter months would be great. The view was amazing from every window and the dock/boathouse was awesome!! It was a chill way to spend our time.

The location was perfect for our Christmas family getaway. There was plenty of room for all. This is our second stay and we’d come again.

There are many positives to this home—highlights are the amazing lake view, the large deck, the kayaks and canoe, dock with rooftop level, hot tub, expansive yard with playground (baby swing strap needs to be fixed), fire pit with chairs. The house has 2 family rooms and a pool room (very cold converted garage) and is in a great area to take walks and bike rides. However, for the VERY expensive price for a week in November, we were disappointed in some things, most that could be easily fixed—under the couch is disgustingly dirty with dust and dog fur, so many random broken kids toys and game pieces all around, collections off old magazines and junk in the baskets under the coffee table and on shelves in closets, very overstuffed and disorganized kitchen cabinets and drawers, bed skirts stained yellow, master bath sink clogged, very low water pressure in master shower, main family room rug seems dirty, 2 nonworking fireplaces, only 6 (mismatched) chairs at kitchen table. Overall, the home is not nearly as nice as the pictures look on the website and could use some updating for this high price. We had a great time and worked around all of the negatives, and hope the house will be deep cleaned and cleared of some clutter for the next family.

Great quiet location. Awesome for family gatherings and will definitely be back for the summer!

It was great to have all the entertainment for our toddler she loved having her own little chairs on the deck and by fire pit. She loved the playground!
4.7
Loved the view but house was not as nice as the last time we stayed. Neighbors kept using the dock and waterslide without asking. The "firepit" was a random group of cinderblocks not even in a circle. Dog hair everywhere, not a complete set of plates all utensils, spatulas etc. Were gross and old. Water leaks under sink and in basement. Very disappointing stay compared to last year. Definitely not worth the money

Beautiful house with a fantastic dock, amazing view, and endless entertainment for little kids. An absolutely perfect house for a family vacation with little ones!
4.7
House was comfortable and well equipped. Deck and outside dock are top notch! Beautiful lake view.
4.7
The house has one of the best views of the big lake. Being able to moor a pontoon boat and be tubing in a couple minutes was fantastic. The boys also love fishing from the pier.

Our three generation (all adult) family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The décor was just beautiful. We are cooks and were amazed at how well the kitchen was stacked with any cookware, bakeware, and utensils we needed - right down to the dog dish! There was even a cast iron skillet. It was rusty, but we resurrected it and used it almost every day. It was definitely the best outfitted kitchen we’ve ever had. That being said, they do need more forks – there were only 10, not counting the ones in the drawer of baby dishes. Our days were spent down at the dock swimming and fishing. (We had catfish tacos one night!) The kayaks had life vests and there were plenty of noodles for floating. We appreciated the stairs that went right in the lake. Some of our group went “wining” and some went to historical sites. In the evenings, it was much too hot for a fire, so visited on the deck or watched a movie. There is no cable – just streaming services. We reported a leak under the kitchen sink and it was promptly addressed. We all loved the house and the Lake Anna area and agreed it would great to come back. Our suggestions for improving the property are to have a booklet onsite to address things like lawn mowing (Friday), hot tub service (Wednesday), TV instructions, and garbage pick-up. Trash is picked up the day you leave and the two trash cans were not enough for 10 days. Luckily, we accidently found a transfer station nearby to take our trash and recyclables. The home is listed for 12 people, so it should have outdoor seating for 12. The deck had 7 chairs. Down at the dock were about 4 plastic Adirondack chairs, 1 lounge , a bench and a few broken lounges There were a few more chairs at the fire pit that were very light and had to be secured when the wind kicked up. We did have one storm that knocked out the power for 4 hours, but all was well when it came back on. Thanks for the spacious comfortable house!

Great place to stay!
This was a really wonderful experience. The house is right on the water, with beautiful views. We spent time hanging on the dock, lounging in chairs and kayaking. Tons of space for multiple families or a group of friends to hang out. Highly recommend!

Let me begin by saying that the location, the waterfront views and the house were all great. We would definitely come back. The staff we were in communication with-Breanna, Chris and Donald could not have been more responsive and caring. With that said we did have issue with cable, that never truly got resolved. We obtained a Roku stick and we luckily had subscription to Hulu which gave us options. Upon arriving no downstairs lights or outlets were working. It was an easy fix but one that required Chris to come out as the fuse box was in the locked garage. The refrigerator ice and water were in a locked mode, so again someone had to come out and remedy that. I think it would be beneficial to have some kind of welcome binder to help renters troubleshoot some of the more common issues and to give overviews of how to operate electronics in the house. For example the nest thermostat.
Again, we loved our stay, just a few things could have made it feel more guest ready. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. We are already making plans for next year!

This property provided us the perfect weekend away with our family to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. We only left the property once, to drive to the State Park for a hike. The rest of the time was spent fishing, kayaking and hanging out!
**one small note, the dishwasher does not work at all and required all the dishes to be handwashed.

First off the house was very clean. There were all kinds of extras including an extra icemaker which was good since the one in the freezer didn't work. The house is very comfortable and I would stay there again. Wish it had a refrigerator down at the dock.
