Escape to the bay with this charming home. From the moment you step inside, you can enjoy views of Lake Champlain out the windows of the kitchen and dining room. The view's even better from the main bedroom, set on its own split level! The other bedrooms are on the opposite side of the home, making the space ideal for large families or groups with a fair amount of younger guests. But everyone (including up to two dogs!) can come together in the game room or around the portable firepit. The private gas grill can cook up enough fish to feed everyone. But when it's time to explore the lake, you can do it in style at this home. Seven beach chairs can be used on the private beach - we also provide one kayak, one canoe, a floating water blanket, and four adult-size life jackets for guest use. The private washer/dryer will take care of the swimsuits while folks are making s'mores around the fire. If the adults want to head out on their own special date, the two provided adult bikes will help provide a sweet escape.
What's nearby:
Yes, the lake is as close as it looks! If you're looking to get farther out on the water, guests can use the public boat launch at Malletts Bay Fish & Wildlife Access Area just under one mile away. This is only one of seven marinas within two miles of the home. Rozzi's Lakeshore Tavern (just under one mile from the home) will provide a nice retreat for the adult members of the group. But before you leave, be sure to check out the Lake Champlain Chocolate factory (yes, they do take-out) and the world's tallest filing cabinet, both within nine miles of the home.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

This spot was fantastic - right on the water, close drive to downtown Burlington, clean and well-appointed with everything we needed to have a comfortable and lovely time. Would stay here again! Fit 2 families totalling 7 people very comfortably.

This house needs some TLC because it’s in a lovely location and has huge potential. I had read about a dirty shower curtain in reviews right before I came and decided to bring one just in case. Yep, I replaced it, it was filthy. I had to do a thorough cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, porch and vacuuming while there. Leaves collected on steps to house, (it was November) and was dangerous. Outside fire pit was unusable. We managed to have a nice family gathering but Vacasa/VRBO, please give this little house some love so that others don’t have my experience.

If I could rate this property zero stars for cleanliness I would. The shower had someone else's hair in it, the shower curtain was dirty and smelled like mildew, the sink leaked, the coffee maker was full of moldy, coffee water, dishwasher did not work and there were cobwebs throughout the house. I reported my complaints with the home's cleanliness immediately after checking in and all I was told was "thank you for letting us know". The Vacasa customer service team is useless. Do not waste your money on this location or other vacasa managed properties.

Overall or stay was both good and bad. Several of the
amenities listed were non-functional. The BBQ was just a shell, no instructions on using the AC units, dishwasher didn't work--only 2 dishtowels for the week, very weak pillows, the mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable, kayak had issues--drain plug missing as was the connector on the paddles, old spider webs on front porch, bug zapper on the back deck would have been nice, no light above the entry keypad. We did have a plumbing issue which was resolved by vacasa--the plumber kept us informed of his progress. The location was great for the activities we had planned and it was nice to have a comfortable gathering place place for all family members.

This was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. The views are stunning, the water clear and the home is more spacious than it looks. The only improvement would be to get a better coffee pot, sharper knives and lids for the pots!

We enjoyed the serenity of this lake house. The views were beautiful. Everyone loved playing PacMan in the game room. House/ kitchen was well stocked. A wonderful property.

The place was perfect!

We booked 2 nights to view the eclipse lakeside and it did not disappoint! The photos online, although quite beautiful, do not fully capture the beauty of this place. Gorgeous views overlooking the Vermont mountain range and lake Placid. The house is well appointed with everything you need, small exception of the coffee maker. Our guests did feel comfortable with the cleanliness. Suggest maybe an upgrade to a Kureig. Other than that the property is a 10 out of 10. There are two access points to the beach which are indeed private and you will have it all to yourselves. Given the season, the water was high so beach area on both sides is small. Firepit area was wonderful, we loved hanging out by the fire at night watching the sunset. Kitchen allows for cooking for a crowd. The property feels remote but there is plenty of commerce in the area to visit Burlington downtown, grab coffee, items at the general store. We enjoyed burgers at Rozzi’s Lakeside tavern prior to check in. Was allowed to check in early and was notified via text. I did need to check with Vacasa the day before for the check in- keypad codes due to not receiving email. They were very prompt to respond. Overall, lovely home with great views and access to water. Not an issue for our party, just know that stair access to the fire pit and water is steep. Maybe not the best for small children or senior guests

Suited our needs perfectly.

Great house. Main fl bathroom sink clogged. Washer smells. Otherwise, beautiful house and location, worked out great for our needs. We would stay again. Consider a later standard check out time and providing more essentials for longer stays.

Our family rented this house for an early Thanksgiving. We came from out of state to meet our children, who live in Mass. Aside from the absence of a couple of baking dishes, the kitchen was perfect. The house is right on the lake and beautiful.

Our group, two couples, stayed at the property in Oct. 2023. Upon arrival, the views of the lake were amazing. The house sits very close to the water, so there is a view of the bay at nearly every window. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bedroom is spacious, with again, a breathtaking view of the water. The king bed is not great, the mattress clearly needs replacement. The foam sags significantly, which makes it uncomfortable. We had a bonfire one night and drove into Burlington the second night for dinner. It is a great location, many local attractions. We recommend walking/biking the Lake Champlain causeway, that was very beautiful.

The house is amazing. The view is spectacular. The housecleaning needs improved. It’s such a shame to have such a nice place and not have it clean. Cobwebs everywhere, coffee pot filthy and still full of coffee, outside not touched, rodent trap used as a door stop, shower curtain covered in mold. Upgrade the cleaning and the place would be perfect

Nice lakefront house close to UVM.

The location was really outstanding. The view of the lake was beautiful and the house was a short drive to Burlington, which was a highlight of the trip. However, the house was listed as accommodating 10 guests but there was only one king sized bed in one room and the other 8 sleeping accommodations were spread into two rooms all in various bunk bed configurations with a single bathroom for 8 people. The hot water supply was also not sufficient in that bedroom area for 8 people nor was there sufficient parking. The outside access to the house is also tricky at night and the house wad certainly not handicapped accessible inside or outside.

This was the perfect spot for 2 families in Burlington for a wedding. Would recommend!

Great home for our family. Might be tough with little kids or the elderly as there are many stairs to get to the house and then to the water. Other than that, awesome lake house!

Loved being at this beautiful property- went fishing one day on the lake. Enjoyed hearing the small waves crashing sound right out our window. Beautiful sunsets over Lake Champlain also! Like the others said the outside could use some tlc but inside was clean and had everything we needed to cook some meals in the house. The house also has some games for rainy days and also Pac Man!

This is a great home for families and dogs. Beautiful views/sunsets on lake Champlain. Easy access to lake from cottage. Had most everything you need. This was a perfect peaceful getaway for our family. Thank you.

The house was very nice. Comfortable and laid out nicely. Great views from all the lakeside windows. Location was excellent. Close to bike paths and Just a short drive to Burlington. Outside fire pit area nice. Out door furniture needs some TLC. Chairs on deck had ripped seats. Only 2 usable. Beach chairs were also ripped only 2 were useable. There was an outdoor dining area that would have been nice but was filled with dust and dirt. We loved having a canoe and kayak to use, as well as one bike. Other bike had a flat tire. We love the location and the house itself was comfortable and clean. We would definitely visit again. The master bedroom was super nice.

This was the perfect landing spot for us to celebrate our son’s college graduation. The home was comfortable for our family and a nice gathering spot to host others —- lovely layout, plenty of space, teen friendly with ping pong/games, indoor/outdoor dining, and beautiful sunsets to see. The waterfront setting was a bonus feature. Vermont in the spring is a must do for everyone!!!

Perfect location, very clean. Had everything we needed. Definitely coming back!

Pros: home was clean, in beautiful spot, close to Burlington. Cons: we were supposed to be able to get in at 4:00 pm, cleaners were there, had to wait for 30 minutes. They said no one communicated to them that renters were even coming that day. Floor was still wet.

We had a very nice stay. It was only a long weekend but will look to return for a summer week. Ping pong table in TV area with big comfy couch was a bonus for us during this winter weekend. Thank you.

Pros:
1. Location - waterfront, very quiet.
2. Close to multiple grocery stores.
3. Roomy house; full kitchen, etc.
4. Great TV features.
5. Smart heating system.
Cons:
1. Primitive cooling equipment.
2. Limited capacity of the water heater (when one person takes a bath on the 1st floor, the water in the 2nd floor shower is not warm enough).
3. Limited set of cooking utensils.
4.0
Nice family playroom, fireplace for the atmosphere, large kitchen island, views on the lake.

Beautiful house in spectacular location -- views out across Lake Champlain to the Adirondacks are amazing in all weather. Easy walk to shale beach, which our dog loved. Easy 15-min drive to downtown Burlington. Used canoe, which is clunky but serviceable, and bikes -- one of which was unusable due to bad tire, so we rented in Burlington, and Vacasa refunded cost. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful lake house with amazing views from every room. This house is very clean and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The check in and check out process is very easy and convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

House was nicer than it appeared in photos. Beautiful views of the lake. Easy drive into Burlington. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

This is a very beautiful lakeside home. The space is well laid out and up to date. The view is spectacular and amenities are plentiful and nearby. This region has an exceptional array of trails and many other recreational activities.

This house is in a special location on Lake Champlain and is extremely well kept and tidy. The house is more spacious than it looks in the photos and the proximity to Burlington while keeping the feeling of being "away from it all" is perfect.

I was a little surprised to find only window units in the bedrooms. The kitchen and living area was always too hot. Also disappointed that the lake is only 2 feet deep for 100 yards. There were 5 working chairs outdoors, the rest were broken. Sunsets were phenomenal. Everything worked. It was great but hot gathered around the kitchen island I would rent again later in the season but not during the summer. Well lit, property was very secure.

The property was on it's own peninsula so it was very private. The inside was comfortable, uniquely decorated, and there was plenty of room. We watched gorgeous sunsets over the Adirondacks while sitting on the deck, waded out in the water of Lake Champlain, played ping pong in game room, took walks, and rode our bikes on the nearby causeway. It was obvious that the owners are working to make the topography of the land less of a challenge. The only negatives were that there could have been more cookware and microwavable plates and when we arrived the cleaning company hadn't come. However, after a quick call to Vacasa, they immediately sent a team to remedy the situation.

The private beach is amazing! The house is lovely and spacious, with amazing views throughout. A quick 15 min drive to downtown Burlington and then back to your private oasis. Highly recommend :)

Nice property. Private feel yet not remote or isolated. Water blanket was a huge hit.

What a spot! It was a treat to be on the water and my dog loved all the swimming he got in. Spectacular sunsets. The place was spotless. Plenty of linens and towels for everyone. Only a 15 minutes drive from all the entertainment that Burlington has to offer. And less than 10 minutes from the Ethan Allan homestead. It was one of the prettiest walks I've ever taken.
Two 'plan ahead' tips: Kitchen was decently equipped for a family of four, though is a bit low on equipment if you are cooking for seven adults. If you are doing that, plan on grilling most of your meals. The grill was great.
Second, the property is on a steep hill. Do not take your frail/low mobility loved ones here in the winter as I imagine the ice would be really tough to navigate.

College graduation get together
The house itself is lovely! The views of the water are spectacular from most of the home! I would have liked to have received the check in code the day before at least just so I knew we were all set. I had written VRBO twice asking for an early check in and I received no reply. (I ended up calling and the woman I spoke to was very nice.). It’s a little difficult walking down to the house from the parking area but the house is well-stocked and exceptionally clean! We enjoyed lovely family dinners in the dining room looking out at the water.
