Fun mix of historical atmosphere and modern conveniences. Very good location for restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. This is better suited to adults. Comfy beds with plush bed and bath linens.

The house was easy to find and "check in" was super easy! The home is beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs along with 2 of the bathrooms. The 3rd bathroom is downstairs. There is a pool table downstairs too. As we were getting ready to check out, we saw a deer in the yard through the big picture window! That was quite a memory to take with us as we said Goodbye to Custer, South Dakota!

We enjoyed staying at the Bank House in Custer. Was super convenient to all shopping and restaurants in town.

This house was a real find. The location, two short blocks from the main street in Custer, was really great. We loved walking into town for meals and coffee.
The home itself was comfortable and fun to stay in. Everything we needed was available. A few minor maintenance things could be taken care of such as a leaky sink in the hall bath upstairs and new non-stick pans, however these did not detract at all from our stay.

What an amazing place - so many fun details all through out the house. We had 2 couples for a long weekend and really enjoyed the place. It's a very short walk to the restaurants and shops, but far enough off the 2 main roads to be very quiet.

The house was perfect for us -- three couples. When we got there, the dishwasher was not working. We told the owner about it, and it was replaced during our stay (we were out on a bike ride, came back, and it was perfect)!!! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great vacation and this place was lovely to come back to after a day of adventures! Very clean. Kids loved playing in the large yard in the evenings and the wandering deer were a joy to see each night!

Black Hills Getaway
This big house was perfect for our family getaway. The window air-conditioners upstairs in the bedrooms kept the whole house very comfortable. The huge yard with grill and games was perfect for evening outside play for the grandkids and adults. Great location for all the sites and activities in the Black Hills.
Lynn's was a wonderful full service grocery store in Custer with nice selections of all things fresh. We will be back and we will try for this house again!! Thanks

Very convenient location for exploring all the black hills. Very close to town restaurants groceries , shopping. Historic home very well maintained. Beds are comfortable, the area is very quiet and serene. I have no regret in renting this property. There really is no competition for an outstanding home such as this.

The Manor is exactly as described; beds are great. Location is walking distance to downtown stores and market. The blue binder has great recommendations for restaurants and other helpful information. The patio was great for relaxation at the end of day with a gas fire table. Enjoy the deer wondering the neighborhood. We did our day trips to area attractions and parks. Again great location and great home. Thanks.

The house was clean and had all the amenities notes in description. We were nervous as it was noted there was no central A/C but the house stayed cool even on the almost 90 degree days due to huge shade trees and some A/C window units upstairs. It is walking distance to downtown Custer which we loved. Some good dining options and cute shops. Overall we had a great stay.
