Get away from city living and relax lakeside thanks to this 2-bed, 2-bath cabin, uniquely located inside secluded Caddo Bay area. Rent a boat from the marina and spend a day on the water visiting Sandy Beach and Hells Gate, hike nearby trails, or simply enjoy the breathtaking sunset on the porch. Private swim beach area including lounge chairs, kayak, and party pad. Set right on the lake, boasting you’re own private two slip boat dock great for securing the boat or night fishing under the light. The dock is deep and provides great fishing including striper, catfish, and bass. A 36" griddle and kamado style charcoal grill make smoking, grilling, or breakfast a breeze. The large yard is perfect for entertaining with plenty of space for for the kids to run around and play. Inside the State Park (One mile away) has a large boat ramp and any last min snacks, ice, or fuel. The property needs some updating ad there is no exhaust fan in the kitchen. I assume otgers have have left the door open to ventilate because there was a hugh fly issue when we arrived. We had one surprise in a small snake coming up the drain shower in the smaller bathroom.

The view and access to the lake was awesome! Perfect for our 2 older dogs to run and play. As far as the actual house we rented...not so hot. The bed spreads didn't smell clean, the sheets had dog hair and were dark blue, so you had no idea if they were 100% clean. The carpet had stains, you definitely didn't go barefoot. All the cabinets in the kitchen needed to be cleaned, the stove didn't work very good and there was all kinds of food in the cabinets...left from the previous renters? The pool sticks were awful and the foosball table looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in years. Overall it looked as though people were living here and didn't bother cleaning everything out in order to rent the place out.

Spacious living area, large kitchen, comfortable beds and all this 100 ft from beautiful PKL. All in all this stay is a 10! The home is a little dated but clean for being a lake property. It says it sleeps 10 but you could double that number and still have room! The dock is a huge plus (with so many fish swimming around at night) and the WATER is the best lake water I’ve ever been in, besides Hells Gate. We stayed on a float right off the dock and had an absolute blast. Highly recommend this stay to anyone 😄

Our group of family elders loved the location on PK lake, and the clean, well-equipped home. A short, level walk to the water, it has magnificent views of open water and hills. Just bring a suitcase, fishing gear, some food, and you’re set. Our host, Rob, was very helpful and responsive to requests. An older, well-maintained lake house, has had a few updates. The boat dock with a defined fishing area and shaded patio were the favorite spots.

We really enjoyed our stay here . Lots and lots of beds . Very cold Ac , big kitchen and living room . They thought of everything you would need . Very quiet and peaceful. Bed was comfy as well . We have stayed at so many home on Pk and we will definitely stay here again . The dock is amazing . Plenty of room to fish and we brought our boat and tied it off in one of the 2 slips . We had so much fun fishing off that dock and caught alot of fish . Thanks for opening up your home to us . See you again soon

The neighbors had 6 kids there that screamed and yelled top of there lungs all day and no parents to quiet them was very uncomfortable i know kids like to run and play but this was inexcusable

This place was amazing everything and more that you would need for a get away from your life. I grew up on this lake my family bought property on broadway strip in 1957 build and lake house ( that has been replaced by a very large house ) my dad sold in 72 wish i still had it today. Anyway we had a great time drove from casper Wyoming pulling our boat with our kayaks and got away from our shop for a while. Already have plans to go again in a year or two thank you very much for the solitude we got while staying at this great house And we got a lot of fish mostly thru back

Our family enjoyed the stay. More than enough beds, and great fishing off the dock. We all enjoyed being able to walk into the water. Worked great with the kayak launching. I would recommend it as a great place for families with kids.

Our adult kids and their dog stayed with us at this peaceful lake house with amazing views of lake and hills, spectacular sunrises! Well stocked full kitchen, lots of room yet very cozy. Guys fished from the covered, lighted boat slip; just steps from the back door. Spent most of our time out doors visiting, grilling( 2 egg shaped grills) and taking in the view. Highly recommend this property.

Wow what a relaxing, serene house to spend a few days with friends. Accommodations were perfect, AC worked great, beds were plentiful and comfy. Private dock was great for fishing and launching boats and jet skis. Boat ramp was only 7 minutes away! Communication with host was great.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Lots of things for the kids to do. Fishing was decent for the adults, but exceptional for the kids. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Everything was lovely! Such a great spot. All the comforts of home. So quiet and serene. Those sun rises!! WOWZA. Brought our golden retrievers and they had a blast exploring and swimming. Did some fishing and grilling. It was such a great trip!!

Great location and view right on the water. Host Rob was very accommodating and quick to reply to our questions. Enjoyed playing pool and gorgeous moonrise over the water from the porch. Boat slip made it very easy to get out on the lake early to fish and cruise. Caught over 25 big stripers in just a couple days! Thanks Rob for sharing your lovely lakehouse. Will definitely book again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It felt very peaceful to just sit and hear the waves moving. We got to enjoy a nice fire outside when it got cold. We also rented a boat which was brought to us at the dock. We took enough food for three nights/4days as everything is pretty far away but we didn’t mind it. Even though the oven didn’t work, everything else that was needed to make food in the kitchen was there. So over all, we loved this place and will definitely be coming back when we want to get away from the city again.

Great place to stay on the water we loved it as a family. This house had so many qualities of your real home away from home! If you were missing foil they had foil paper if you're missing sugar they had sugar they had so many utensils pots and pans two coffee pots! The property was nice and secluded, so many things to do on the property and enough beds! The house was so cozy! I'd loved this house and I will return on our next PK trip!! Last note for you boat owners it is awesome boat parking and the Possum Kingdom State Park to launch your boat from is not a far trip back to the house! The Wilhoits

The house was just right for our stay. The large game room/family room worked great for us. The property was big enough for plenty of outdoor activity as well. It's also located in the PK State Park boundary and the main entrance to the park was less than 5 minutes away. We will definitely come back to this property.

We enjoyed 4 wonderful nights over Thanksgiving. It was perfect for us! Plenty of room inside and out, secluded, and access to outdoor fun. The property was clean and had everything g we needed to prepare meals. Make sure to take any groceries needed as access to restaurants or a grocery store is a drive. We hope to return soon!

Loved this weekend getaway rentals on Possum Kingdom Lake. Perfect setting for the family with all the amenities required. The dock was awesome, we spent most of the time fishing (caught a little of everything). Fire pit was a nice to be able to relax in the evening as well. The house has a nice retro feel with two full bathrooms, a pool table, everything needed for cooking a big family meal. Very private which is exactly what we were after. Owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Overall great experience and we hope to make this place a yearly getaway.
