Worth the Wait is a true high end, one of a kind luxury cabin located directly on the bank of the beautiful Mt Fork River that comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.
Even before entering the cabin, the outdoor area will amaze you with the stunning views, a covered deck and porch along with a second deck located right on the water. It's a great swimming hole! Or bring your poles and walk the bank or take out one of the kayaks to catch bass, crappie, perch, and even an occasional catfish. Kayaks will be an additional $250 charge that you can reserve during your trip should you decide to use them.
You will find several lounge chairs for sunbathing, 8 kayaks on site, horseshoe pits, a firepit with cooking racks, and even a giant playset for the kiddos. The large professional grill, ice maker, and small fridge in the outdoor grilling area just steps away from the kitchen will have you cooking up your favorites for your friends and family to enjoy. A huge 8-person hot tub sits in an alcove with French doors just off the master suite; the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and take in the views! Comfy patio furniture offers several spots to listen to your favorite music on the surround sound system, catch the game on the outdoor TV, or watch your gang playing a fun game of ping pong on the back porch. To help you enjoy the outdoor area fully, a Mist-Away system has been installed to help with flying insects such as mosquitoes and flies so you can truly enjoy the outdoor spaces without constantly applying insect repellant.

There are 3 master suites with beautifully renovated and upgraded baths. The king master bath is a true spa experience with a walk-in shower and a large jetted tub perfect for a little quiet time after a day spent on the water. In addition to the 3 masters, there is also a bunk room that has 2 sets of bunk beds with trundles and its own bathroom. Each bedroom has its own TV, dressers, and large closets. The cabin was designed to ensure that each couple has complete privacy in their own rooms; no having to share baths or closet space with the kids or other couples.

This place is awesome for a large group. You have a beautiful view of the river and a huge deck to sit on and enjoy the view as well. Has a place to get on the river and go kayaking that the cabin has for use. The cabin is extremely well kept and you feel like you are at home.

We have stayed in many home over the last several years, this one was in a different league. It had everything anyone would ever need. Also the “location location location” our grandkids were either in the canoes or Hot Tube or playing one of the table games. Non of our kids ever got on their devices. The mattresses were amazing In Every room. two washers and two dryers, two refrigerators, the commercial ice maker was amazing! All outside furniture was top of the line. Our host was amazing always available and even let me borrow her ice cream machine. We will be back! We only left The house one day for about 3 hours. We normally float the River but on the days we planned they were releasing water
From the lake. But our kids were not disappointed because they canoed everyday out the back door, basically. They fished also. We can’t wait to come back.

The one line sentence I put on the review could be a 2nd name for this jewel of a place- “Exceeds all Expectations”!
I was looking for a cool place to celebrate my Mother’s 80th Bday, and I’m not sure I could have found a better place! The pictures just do not do it Justice! We had 12 people there and we all had the best time. We have rented houses for our family vacations from Hawaii to Yellowstone to Florida & Mexico beaches, and this place in Broken Bow may have been our favorite. The river was absolutely beautiful and all the decks and staircases were incredible. The kayaks were great to have as a small add on & well worth it. Loved the electric winch for the kayaks. We spent so much time on the back porch as a family just hanging out and had great quality time, my Momma loved it! We had fires at the firepit and thank you for the S’more’s! They were a hit!! We threw horseshoes and cornhole, played pool, hot tubbed, & played shuffle board & ping pong & foosball! That place is its own entertainment center! I am a builder and whoever built this place did an incredible job and I was really impressed with how they thought about everything! The only thing that could be a little drawback to some people is that it’s about 15 min from Broken Bow and 30 min (depending on time of year & traffic) from Hochatown. That didn’t bother us at all as we were there for 5 days and stayed at the house most of the time. The parking lot available is unbelievably huge! You could have a big group of guys with their boats & trailers, and it’s hard to find parking like that. Worth The Wait is a 10 out of 10 in my books and could not have been any happier with the house and the leasing manager Dawnisa was awesome too on every inquiry we had before getting there and she made the booking & billing as easy as it gets! Book this one!!

I am so pleased with the atmosphere here. The cabin was fully furnished, there wasn't any appliance I needed to bring and the rooms were simply beautiful. We spent a large portion of our time enjoying the outdoors. Mornings were so peaceful and the river just added to it. My son kayaked each day. Don't let price keep you from reserving this cabin...it is absolutely worth every dime; It's Worth the Wait. Thanks again for another outstanding experience. I'll be back.

This cabin was one of our favorite VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed at. Probably the only time I’ve been able to say the cabin was even better than the pictures. This cabin had everything and more to suit our needs. Every little detail has been considered. We were greeted with a welcome gift that included s’more fixings which I always forget to pick up. The cabin was very clean, well appointed, loved all the games, and the outside areas and River were beautiful. An absolute dream and we can not wait to book another stay.

We visited Worth the Wait to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday over a long weekend in the fall. Everything was clean and the amenities were fantastic. We used the hot tub, kayaks, pool table, fire pit, and every bit of the house and deck. There was really no reason to leave the house to do anything else! The property manager was extremely responsive when I texted her a few questions.

We stayed in this beautiful home with our family. There were 10 of us! It was stunningly beautiful. There wasn’t anything missing. I felt like we were home. There was something for everyone. Lots of room for the whole family and yet lots of space for privacy. The misting system for mosquitoes and flies was something I have never seen and it worked great! The views of the river from the outdoor patio were so peaceful. It was everything and more than expected. We will definitely revisit Worth the Wait!

This house has it ALL! The outdoor space is amazing! We loved & used the horeshoes & playhouse but our favorite was renting the kayaks right from the house & using those over & over! The outdoor space even has bug misters that keep bugs away so no need for bug spray on our kiddos! We also enjoyed the ping pong table & hot tub. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitched we have ever seen....it had a griddle, a crockpot & an air fryer! There were so many pans & even things to put your left overs in. So great to have 2 refrigerators too. It was perfect! The VERY BEST PART was the ice maker on the porch that we used daily to keep ice in our coolers. We are now looking up how to have one of these at our lake house. :) The beds were all very comfortable & it was so nice to have so many bathrooms. The showers all had shampoo, conditioner & body wash which was a nice perk. The game room was fun too - really enjoyed the shuffle board! The house has lots of indoor & outdoor seating which is great for our large family. It had everything we could ever want! (wifi was also great!)
We also REALLY appreciated the level of service that was given while we were there! If ever we had a question, they were only a text away. So helpful!

Worth The Wait is the perfect family get away. We had a great time Kayaking and fishing together during the day. At night we played games, made s’mores one the fire, and sat in the hot tub. This is our second time to stay in a Mt Fork management cabin and both times were wonderful. The cabins are always clean and well stocked.

This was the most well equipped vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The house was very clean and had anything that we thought of. We were able to prep and cook meals with ease both indoors and outdoors. We had three families with children and teens that stayed here. This cabin is above and beyond anything we expected staying on the river! This area has recently seen a beautiful renovation of cabins that provide additional activities like play sets and kayaks on site, game rooms and hot tubs. Worth the Wait has all that and more. You get the feel of a Hochatown cabin with all the luxury bedding, a bunk room, a fantastic game room, huge hot tub and massive deck, multiple bedrooms with in suite restrooms….but you also get what the area is known for. Waterfront!!!! You are perched right above the Lower Mountain Fork river and you have access to the kayaks on site to explore in it or you can just go down the steps to the huge deck to watch the water flow by, or walk out on the rocks that are at the base of the deck to have a closer look at the fish swimming in the clear water there or to take a dip yourself. Part of our group never came in till bedtime, and the other part found no reason to leave all the comfort inside. This cabin truly has something for everyone! When we have a large group, we will be booking here from now on!

We had a great time at your house, everything was first class and very much attention to detail in every way we were very satisfied and everyone talked about coming back in the future for family functions. It is a truly worthwhile destination. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was that my mom uses a walker and my mother-in-law is in a wheelchair and getting them from the parking area to the house was a major ordeal. It is not very handy cap friendly trying to get from the parking lot to the house. I would recommend some type of sidewalk from the parking area to the house because getting a walker or a wheelchair through all of that gravel at that great of a distance what was very difficult. Other than that everything was fabulous thanks

From the moment we arrived, everything was great. Such a wonderful property with wonderful amenities. The fact that the cabin has so many “games” is a major plus. We had good weather; however, even if we didn’t we would have been content hanging out on the property longer each day. Things to occupy kids of all ages and adults as well. We hope to be back here in the future. Dawnisa was also great in responding to emails in regards to any questions we had with our rental.

Definitely Worth the Wait
This is a trip that we take every year, We decided to try a new spot this year and Worth the wait will be our new spot. They really thought of everything we could possibly need or want. There is so much space that your group has plenty of room to spread out. The deck is awesome. with plenty of fans and shade to escape the heat. With there being a triple digit heat advisory I was worried about feeling miserable but the large shaded deck was very comfortable with all of the fans. We loved being able to make a loop with the kayaks several times a day and then relax in the hot tub or take a dip in the river. We have found our new spot and can’t wait to come back.

Definitely Worth the wait.
We had a great time. This is a trip that we take take frequently. This year we decided to try Broken Bow instead of our usual spot. It was a great decision and we have found our new spot. You can make your time there whatever you want it to be. The owners really thought of everything you could possibly need. Box fans in all of the bedrooms for white noise (ac works great), extra towels for the hot tub, horseshoes, corn hole, beautiful kitchen full of equipment and dishes. Getting the kayaks into and out of the water was a breeze. We will be back.

Peaceful Getaway
To say “Worth the Wait” cabin n Broken Bow, OK was a nice getaway is an understatement.. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with some of the nicest people as managers. The location.. the cleanliness.. the prompt responses from the manager.. the kindness.. just everything was PERFECT.. it was like paradise n the winter time.. This property was nothing short of incredible and lacked for nothing. The attention to detail was amazing and they literally thought of everything for the guests. Very impressive vacation home!!
Our three-generation family enjoyed a week-long holiday at this beautiful house in a gorgeous, riverside setting.. The house appealed to everyone in our family, and had everything and more than we needed. We enjoyed kayaking the river, soaking in the big spa, competitions in game room, at the pool table, and ping pong table. The well equipped kitchen was a delight, and there was a generous amount of household supplies that made settling in easy. The property manager, Dawnisa was accessible by phone before and throughout our stay. This is a memory making place!

Beautiful Property for Any Group
Excellent amenities from fluffy towels to every kitchen appliance imaginable. Great cabin for any group from families with kids to a group like ours which was a 45+ girls trip. There were nine of us. So many activities or space to find quiet time. Close enough to town to run in and back as needed, but still solidly out of town along the river. About 20 minutes from the touristy part which is North of Broken Bow. Pictures and details true to experience. We loved it!!

The house exceeded our expectations! The rooms were spacious, the beds and couches were so comfortable, the sound system was great, the outdoor space was peaceful… it was the perfect getaway! We plan on making it a yearly trip with my best friend and our families!
