Come relax at our private home on tropical Manasota Key! Your toughest decision will be whether to swim at the semi-private beach on the Gulf of Mexico or in the pool with a view of Lemon Bay.

This charming home has everything you need for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. The main living area has an open floor plan with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The living quarters are separated to allow friends or family to have a space all their own. One side of the house has a private owners suite with a king bed and full private bathroom with a walk in shower. The opposite side of the home has a bedroom with a queen bed with its own pool access, a bedroom with two twin beds and a large full bathroom. The covered patio area provides opportunities for open air dining and is attached to the screened-in lanai. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with smart TV’s with streaming capabilities. Other amenities include an outdoor shower, gas grill and laundry room.

Manasota Key is a picturesque barrier island with an old Florida feel. The location offers easy access to plenty of outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, golf, hiking and of course, beach combing! Both the sunsets over the gulf AND the sunrises over the bay are breathtaking! First-rate restaurants are just a mile away and live entertainment is available to you whenever the mood strikes.

There is a $100 per week fee for pool heat.
Guests must be 25 or older to rent.

Kirsten and Jeremy were perfect hosts. The house was super clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, dishes, and cooking staples. Florida is super-hot in July and August, but the air conditioner kept everything nice and cool. The pool is a nice addition as well. Thanks for a nice time!

We stayed with our 4 kids for a week. The house was as described and was just what we needed. The goal for the trip was to beach, swim, find shark teeth, fish and visit family. We had a great time doing all these things. Owners and property manager were accessible and helped when needed. The pool was perfect to cool off on hot days. The large kitchen table accommodated our family. The path to the beach was great. Would recommend!

Excellent location, very nice neighbors nearby. Kitchen was stocked when we arrived. Much more than any other rental we've seen. All the basics already there plus much more! Pool was wonderful that outlooks the bay plus is covered so no bugs. Beds slept very comfortable and plenty of room for all 6 of us. Beach is just a short walk and we even fished from the bay and caught a few. Very wonderful home there in Englewood, FL right on Manasota Key. We hope to be back very soon!

This is an amazing property. It had everything you would need a pinch. The pool was the best feature as far as coming off the beach and wanting to cool off , it was really an amazing space to relax and spend time. Also for those who had too much beach time . The house it self was well stocked with towels, linens, etc. There are a few items in the kitchen that maybe we were missing but we made do no big deal. It was just a walk to the beach through a path. The beach was really private only a few other families at a time were there . Bonus for people with several guests : you can still call the little golf cart Stumpy’s to get a ride to restaurants, for different opinions on places to eat. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that the grill was really not in a shape that you could grill on, it was rusty not in good shape for food period!!! We were hoping to grill burgers, brats and fish but that did not happen. We used the oven and the range. It worked but not want we had wanted. We enjoyed our time and thought it was well worth it!!!

We had a great time staying here on our vacation! The home was clean and had several daily items (paper cups, spices/seasonings, etc) on hand that other homes we have stayed in didn’t have. Kirsten was very informative and easy to communicate with. The pool was wonderful, the kids had a blast! The beach is a short walk from the home, which is great. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Property exactly as described. Just a short walk to the beach, and a nice pool to relax in as well. House had everything we needed and then some. Owner is very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Those pool was soo nice! The house was older but well maintained and very clean! The only complaint was the dishwasher door was missing a spring to prevent it from falling open and it didn’t dry the dishes well. Overall very pleased!

We loved all of the little extras with this place; beach chairs, floaties, the outside shower is awesome! The location is fantastic to the beach, restaurants etc. The one thing I think is important to note is that the twin beds, I beleive, are kids beds. So my 6’ tall son was not fitting in the bed really well. But all in all…awesome rental! Beautiful vacation. Would definitely go back!

House was amazing and just what we were looking for. Spent hours upon hours in the pool and you could see the bay as you floated in the water. House has everything you would need and more. Beach was a short walk away. Golf cart shuttle will pick you up and drop you off to any restaurant up the road. Awesome happy hour specials at all the bars with Lock & Key bring the most fun with the scratchers. Already planning a return trip!

When we first arrived at the property the front lock didn’t work, we contacted the owner and they sent someone to try to fix the lock twice. We were left with one key which wasn’t a big problem because we could just go to the back door to let ourselves in because the sliding doors didn’t lock at all. There was also no hot water in the guest bathroom.

This rental was absolutely lovely and just what we were looking for! As seen in the pictures, it is not state of the art, but rather gives that true Florida feeling you had when you were a child. The location was great… We walked to the beach every day along the quaint, private path. The kids started and ended every single day in the pool. At one point the property manager came by to check on the pool, and she was absolutely fabulous to chat with. No complaints at all… The only recommendation I would have is if you like or need a softer pillow to bring your own. I ended up going out to purchase one and Left it in the home for future guests. Overall exactly what we were hoping for! Thank you so much!!

Our stay here was idilic. The beach was minutes away via a private foot path and the pool at the house perfect. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and private. The house was roomy and had all needed to make our 3 week vacation stress free and relaxing. Would have booked it for next year but someone beat us to it :)

We had a great time at this property. We truly enjoyed being so close to the beach as well as having a private pool. We spent most of our time outside in the pool or looking for shark teeth at the beach. We walked down the beach to the restaurants twice for lunch! Our family truly enjoyed this area and cute little rental house.

This property was a great place to stay for our family. It was a quick walk to the beach and the pool was great for big kids during little one’s naps. It was a quick drive to Blind Pass Beach, great paddle boarding locations (Bill Coy Preserve at Buck Creek was our favorite), and hiking spots. The kids loved finding shark teeth and fishing from the shore. We reeled in a small bonnethead shark by surprise! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It made for a simple and enjoyable vacation! Kirsten was also quick to help us the one time we needed something.

We had the best time at this house. Our kids are 8 and 10, so they loved being able to have access to the beach multiple times a day since it was such a short walk. They would shower off outside then go swimming while I made lunch every day. The trees in the back allowed them to take a break from the sun while swimming. Nice there were coolers and beach chairs and toys there, so we didn't have to pack our vehicle with all of those extra things that bring sand home. It's about a mile from a few great restaurants, a convenience store,, and 2 shops, small town feel. If you do not want to park/walk, there is a golf cart that will pick you up and deliver you home for a tip (check hours). We drove to venice a couple of nights, but did enjoy quiet, quaint Island feel. Would definitely rent here again!

We loved every minute of our five week stay at this darling beach bungalow! I'll start with the location because it was perfect for us - a short walk to a beautiful quiet beach and close to bars and restaurants. The house was exactly as pictured. The furniture was very comfortable throughout the house, and it was equipped with plenty of everything that we needed. The layout with the main bedrooms being on opposite sides of the house is great for 2 couples. We spent a lot of time enjoying the very nice pool area with a view of the bay. Kristen was very sweet and just a text away if we had any questions. Loved this house and would love to stay again.
