“Bear Pawz” is a tastefully renovated, Single-Story, Luxurious Cabin, featuring Designer Appointments throughout and Boasting Spectacular long range layers of Mountain Views.
This Luxury cabin is located on a quiet and very private hill top with close proximity to Fishing, Whitewater Rafting, Tubing, Swimming, Hiking Trails, Shopping, Dining, Mountain Biking at the Tsali, Horse back riding, the Nantahala Outdoor Center (N.O.C.) and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park or Harrah’s Casino.
On arrival, you ware sure to appreciate the level parking area and only 3 stairs to access the entire cabin. Relax on one of the Rocking Chairs on the Covered entry porch while you wait for your guests to arrive, or connect to the newly upgraded (September 2023) even faster WiFi* and send your friends photos of the Amazing Cabin and Views.
The living room offers soaring warm wood ceilings, a Plush leather sofa, loveseat, and side chair that are placed to enjoy the Massive Native Stone wood burning Fireplace and the Panoramic Long Range Mountain Views that are Mesmerizing…
On one side of the "split floor plan" is a Comfortable T.V. Lounge with access to the View Deck and offers a large Satellite HD Flatscreen TV that is the ideal place to watch your favorite Movies while Gazing out over the ever present Mountain Views. On this end of the Cabin, there is a spacious Queen Bedroom and a beautifully renovated Full Bathroom.
Directly ahead are doors leading out to the open Deck where you can enjoy the ever present Views and the Sparkling Hot Tub.
On the other side is the Master Suite with ensuite Bathroom, Comfortable King Bed that is placed to take full advantage of the Mountain Views, Doors leading out to a Covered View Deck, and a Flatscreen TV. Also on this side of the cabin is the 3rd Bedroom which offers a Twin DayBed with a Twin Trundle underneath, and an Assortment of card and board Games.
The Gourmet Chef’s Kitchen with a top of the line “Jenn-Air” electric range with Convect Bake/Convect Roast, and Bread Proofing settings will delight the Chef/Baker in your group. Cookware, Cutlery, and Dishes are provided. For the BBQ’er, a Gas grill is located outside on the Deck, where guests can enjoy a cook-out experience. The dining table seats 6 people comfortably, with additional seating at the Breakfast Bar.
After a day of shopping and fun, relax or spend hours resting on the wooden rockers on the large deck while taking in the sights and sounds of Nature, the Gorgeous Mountain Views, and Star-Gazing. Once you are away from the City lights, and you turn off all of the Cabin lights, you will see more stars than ever before. In the summer time, the Fire Flies magically twinkle around the yard and hill side...
The Fire-Pit is a great place to Gather and create Warm Memories - remember to pack the fixins for S'mores, and brush up on your Campfire stories.
To maximize outdoor enjoyment, the View Deck wraps around the back of the Cabin, and has a Gate on each side.
For Guest convenience, a full size washer and dryer are provided.

Our Pet acceptance is based on the amount of space for our 4 legged Guests to enjoy - inside the Cabin as well as the amount of space outdoors. Pet Acceptance Guidelines are: Up to 2 Pets that are each 40 pounds or less, and He/She may be larger if there is just 1 Pet. Please, feel free to call or email us to ask about our pet policies as they relate to your request.
Pet Rent is a total of $50.00 per reservation.

In all the years of renting homes for family vacations, we have never stayed at a place that was even better than the photos. Super clean, well-equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need and the views are STUNNING! We highly recommend staying at Bear Pawz and promise you will not be disappointed.

This is our second time staying at this property. The house is clean and beautiful with board games, puzzles, and TVs which were great for when our young kids were bored. The expansive views from the back of the house are amazing! The communication with the property manager was fantastic! It is also located about 20 minutes from downtown Bryson City. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was exactly as described in the listing! Overall cleanliness is top on our priority list and this cabin far exceeded our expectations. It is equipped with everything you’ll need for a wonderful mountain vacation! The drive up is quite an adventure but one we loved every time we came back. The wifi didn’t work for us but the property manager was very good about communicating and getting it fixed. Don’t wait any longer, book this cabin today!

What a great stay. Great views, quiet and very peaceful. Cabin super clean with plenty of space and easy parking. The drive up was not bad. I would recommend AWD or 4WD but worth the drive. Loved every minute on site. Will certainly revisit this one again. This is a place you hate that your stay is up. This one gets a High-Five!

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. We WILL stay here again. The private gated Glory Mountain is secluded and beautiful. The cabin has great parking, as we brought a small single motorcycle trailer. As soon as you walk into that house you can see the priceless views of the Smokey's. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck just soaking up the mountains. House is well maintained and was just as the listing showed. Thank you for having us!

There should be a camera to capture the look on people’s faces when they walk thru that front door and immediately see the views. It’s absolutely breathtaking. And the sounds of silence are perfect. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time rocking in the rocking chairs on that back deck overlooking the mountains. We even got to see a rainbow. We would love to return in the fall to see the changing of the trees.

The property was exactly as described, and the view was even better in person. The house was very clean with lots of nice little touches & conveniences. Area was very quiet. About 15 minutes to downtown Bryson City and 35 to Cherokee. For those wondering about the roads I found them to be fairly typical of this type of property. Winding 1 lane gravel all the way up once you get into the neighborhood. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. I think you'd definitely need 4-wheel drive in snow or inclement weather. We had moderate overnight rain a few nights during our stay but didn't have any trouble getting in and out. The view was absolutely worth it!

Absolutely beautiful property. That back deck alone, was worth the price of admission. We spent most of our time out there, including the hot tub.
If there are any cons, they would be the internet and the drive up to the cabin. We had a 4 wheel drive, so no issues, but for those who don't, could make for an interesting trek. The Frontier internet was lacking, to say the least. The other, Hughes, we were worried we would go over the allotted gigs. That is, if it worked at all due to the weather. We completely understand these are probably the owners only options for where they are. Just giving a heads up.
We brought plenty of extra products (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry and dw detergents, etc.). Hardly had to use any of them. Very well stocked cabin, including oils and spices for cooking. Much appreciated.
Comfortable furniture, including the bed.
We very much enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Views
This property was stunning. When we arrived the views were even better in person. We did come a week with a lot of storms and that was actually even beautiful to see the lightning in the mountains.

Can not say enough about the veiw! Relaxing peaceful time. Close to hiking, white water rafting, kayaking. About 30 min to smokey mountain national park. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. Great place to relax!!

FYI if it's cloudy and raining the internet is very spotty and slow as we believe it's provided via Direct TV. The house is clean but lacking in charm, it feels like a rental. Not that this is a bad thing just not what we were hoping for. But still a 5 star get-away based upon the house accommodations. BTW the house manager delivered salt to our front door when I mentioned there was none to be found in the house and I never think to bring salt! This was very kind of him.

My husband and I visited with our two pups for a week. We had a great time! The cabin is just as described/pictured. We are very picky about where we stay….cleanliness of the property is at the top of our list. This cabin is well taken care of and we felt very comfortable staying here. The outside deck is fabulous! The views are amazing. We spent much of our cabin time outside on the deck. Stargazing at night was especially great with no competing lights. The wraparound deck has gates on either side. It was so nice to let the pups out with us without worrying about them getting out. The kitchen is equipped very well. It had everything you could need to prepare meals, including a Keurig, crockpot and food processor. Bedrooms are a nice size. Our bed was quite comfy.
