About this house rental
Our home is located in Fancher Heights in the East Wenatchee area. Magnificently situated overlooking the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers, the
180+ degree view includes all of downtown Wenatchee, Mission Ridge (beautifully lit up in the winter months), the local iconic Saddle Rock, as well as a full view of the Cascade Mountain range. No matter what time of year it is, the view remains breathtaking as the seasons capture different “looks” of the beauty of North Central Washington.
Perfectly located, you have convenient access to all that the area offers. This includes outdoor activities on the lakes and rivers, hill and mountain activities year round, all that the Bavarian village of Leavenworth has to offer during each season, world-class outdoor concerts at the Gorge Amphitheater and more, all within 1 hour of our home!
Affectionately known as “Barnstorm”, the estate property sits on a ridge at the end of Barnstorm Lane, currently the only house on the lane. It provides plenty of elbow space that helps create a feeling of privacy and seclusion, enhancing your ability to rest and relax while enjoying the company you are with. The 5200 square foot home itself boasts many amenities.
Starting on the main floor, grand views of the rivers, valley and mountains are the first thing you will experience walking through the main entrance, providing ongoing enjoyment while you rest and connect with each other. The living room is spacious yet cozy, creating the perfect ambiance for conversation. Enhancing the experience is a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace as a focal point. The kitchen is off the living room, making for easy conversation with each other while preparing meals. It includes everything you will need for any kind of meal preparation, including double ovens, a stove, and an island. The breakfast nook sitting area seats 6 for informal meal times, or for more formal occasions, the dining room seats 10.
The master suite on the main floor has a king bed, a large double-sink bathroom including a garden tub and walk-in shower. The third floor consists of 3 bedrooms with queen beds (with plenty of drawer space for unpacking) and a bathroom with a double sink, separated from the toilet and tub room.
The daylight basement is where entertainment really begins, with a game room including a pool table (which also converts to a ping pong table), a game table with a number of games available, and a kitchenette. Off the game room behind French doors, there is another bedroom with two twin-over-full + trundle bunk beds, as well as a theater room with a leather sectional sofa that includes reclining seats. The basement also has plenty of space for our king, twin or three toddler blow-up beds. Please ask prior to arrival if you'd like any of these blow-up mattresses set out for you.
Many options are available for enjoying the property outside as well. Whether at the sitting area for two with coffee or a glass of wine, in the air-conditioned pool house, in the seasonal heated pool (typically available April - October), grilling on either of the two Traeger grills, sitting around the granite-topped fire table (seats 12), enjoying the hot tub while taking in the view, or roasting marshmallows at the flagstone fire pit area, you will find yourself letting go of the day-to-day stresses of life. You can also take what we’ve come to call “the wine walk”, enjoying the beauty of the lush gardens throughout the property, again with the backdrop of the magnificent vista that will continually demand your attention.

This is a perfect house for large groups of people. Lots of space, activities, etc and has an incredible view of Wenatchee. The basement was especially awesome! The property is very private as well, which is nice. Austin communicated frequently as needed and was always making sure the trip went as smoothly as possible. There were lots of dishes and silverware, but I’ve had vrbo properties with far better cooking utensils, both in terms of items and quality. Having said that, it would not keep me from booking another stay!

Everything about this house was perfect. Trying to find a place that sleeps 16 people is not easy. In this house we all slept comfortably. The view was incredible. Our favorite place was the pool and cabana. We didn’t want to leave.

I rented this property for my small family own d business ski trip. We do this yearly and usually only able to find houses that barely fit all of us. This house has plenty of room. My only complaint is the mountain just had 5” of rain and the day we did ski it was icey! This house is awesome with a great view and lots of space.

What a perfect vacation. We arrived with a beautifully Christmas decorated house with carols playing. So fun. Everything was provided. I can’t think of a thing that went wrong, from the kitchen to the hot tub. We used every inch of the house. We were there New Years Eve. We started a big bon fire in the pit and enjoyed the firework displays from the yard. We would definitely recommend this property.

I stayed here with a group of friends and we all absolutely loved it. The first thing you notice when you come in during the day is the breathtaking view! The pictures don't do enough justice. The home is very spacious and the amenities were perfect because it had a great variety to fit all personalities (hot tub, pool table, sauna, gym, theater, TVs) everyone had a great time. The beds were very comfortable and the home was overall very clean and pristine. The kitchen had enough space and items to bake and cook a multitude of things - we for sure used the double wall oven for to bake homemade pizzas!
We stayed in November and the home was kept cozy warm all the time! I'd love to come back next time during the hot months to enjoy the pool, the grills, and the fireplace which were the only things we were not able to use because it was too cold outside.
Overall: 110% recommended this place.

We recently spent a weekend at the property with extended family. The house is well laid out with all that you could need. The layout of the house was also quite conducive to a group. I was impressed that it was quite quiet upstairs when the theater room was being used, and very little noise between floors carried.
The house was quite welcoming with a fresh flower arrangment, plenty of coffee pods, a well stocked pantry of seasonings and spices and plenty of linens and towels for use in showering or pool/hot tub use.
The property was well maintained and the view and outdoor spaces are lovely with plenty of options for fun. Host was easy to communicate with and directions for entry and checkout were perfect. I would highly recommend the property and can't wait to book again.

It was a great house. Just a little outdated with the decor and style. But the outside area is incredible. Just wish we could have been outside more! We just happened to get the smoke.

This was a perfect place for our annual family reunion. It we bet well appointed and had everything we needed to make dinner great family meal’s and lots of family games. The view is spectacular and the pool and outdoor pool area was fantastic. The communication with Austin made everything super easy. Thank you so much!

This was our second year of gathering at this wonderful spot. So many accolades to share. Very clean. Super comfortable beds. Great pool. We all did yoga on the beautiful lawn against that terrific view. The cabana gave older members of our group an opportunity to play cards near kids having fun in the pool. Family vote was for a return visit. Thank you so much for having us.

My girlfriends and I had an amazing time at this property. The location is private, tranquil, and has breathtaking views of the Columbia River valley. The house was really well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was amazing in the 100 degree heat. We worked out on the lawn and appreciated the free weights in the garage. Would definitely stay again! Very luxurious 😊 it felt even bigger in person than the photos

First, the pictures do not do justice to the view from the back of the house. Be prepared for stunning views of Wenatchee and the Columbia.
The house was a great base for our hiking, biking, and other expeditions. A couple of days we just stayed at home enjoying the pool, hot tub, and recliners poolside. The pool is great; the water temperature was perfect. There was plenty of space to play games or build puzzles.
The kitchen was well stocked. There are more than enough dishes, bowls and glasses. Every pot or pan we wanted was available. We had several cooks, grilled, and bakers in our group and they were all happy. There were multiple fridges and freezers so we could easily store our food for 13 people.
The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with quality towels.
The property is surrounded by gorgeous roses. Some of which they placed in bouquets around the main floor. Austin, the property manager, was very responsive and friendly.
We would all live to return!

Our ski team stayed here with 6 kids and 2 parents. We had a fabulous time and had all the amenities we needed to keep the kids fed, happy, and ready to race.

We had an excellent stay. Austin was very communicative prior to checking in and everything went smoothly. All the amenities are as described and the house had ample space for a group of 9 adults and 4 kids. Only wish it wasn’t so cold and windy to better enjoy the outside amenities but hoping to come back in the summer

I hesitate to write about this property because I don’t want people to find out about it! The home is nestled on the hillside, separated from properties above. The views are beautiful and the sunsets spectacular. The inside is spacious and well-equipped. All the kitchen appliances you could need. It’s clean and well-cared for. The pool deck has a ton of lounge and eating space. There’s a kitchen for outdoor food prep and storage. Honestly, the only improvement I would suggest is a tv in the pool house for sports viewing.

As the kids grow up our family summer stays become more and more important. 2 if or daughters and their families and my 91 year old mom made it this year. The house is lovely, exactly as pictured. Amenities are generous, super clean. Nothing broken or malfunctioning which can be so disappointing. It was super hot out - 103, but the pool and air conditioned cabana led to a super time indoors or out. We had a blast!

All my family fell in love with the property the moment we drove up by the facade. The view was breathtaking and just perfect for each one to savor!! There are so many spots around the house to enjoy and just worthy of capturing through your lens. The place is very clean especially the bedrooms and bathrooms! All necessary needs are readily available for consumption. The supplies have been thoughtfully prepared for the guests. Austin had always been available before and during the check in process to answer all questions. It was such a wonderful and stress free experience that we will never forget!! I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to make lasting memories with their families and friends♥️

Perfect home for multi-family ski getaway
The house had ample room for multiple families. The bottom floor was a hit with the kids, with the theater room, pool table/ping pong table, bunk room, and easy access to the hot tub. Adults enjoyed the fire and reclining couches. The house was very well stocked, beyond what’s expected from a VRBO home. Easy drive to and from Mission Ridge. Would stay here again!

Fantastic stay in Wenatchee
Had such a fantastic time here. Beautiful house with a gorgeous view of the river and the city. House had all the amenities- the theater room, hot tub, and pool tables were all out to good use. Kitchen was well stocked with pots pans and dishes, which was important given the snow fall and icy weather that greeted us. Austin was also great at communicating promptly b and helpfully.

We travel several times a year with our quite large extended family so it is rare that we come across a property as large and as well appointed as this East Wenatchee treasure. Celebrating Christmas morning with our kids and grandkids at this absolutely beautiful home is something I know we will always remember!

Can't beat the view
This property was immaculate. Gorgeous view of the river. We hosted family here for Thanksgiving dinner and we had everything we needed to cook and serve a crowd. Loved the movie room and the hot tub. Can't wait to come back in the summer to use the pool!

Prime Property
Lllllove this VRBO! Extreamly clean, and well equipped with everything you need. There are lots of seating areas outside for larger groups. Kitchen has everything and is well equipped with appliances, pots pans, bowls, dinnerware and utensils. The set up is very well thought through. Everything is as described on listing.
The property manager, Austin always responds timely to inquiries and was very easy to work with.
We are a group of adult friends that come to Wenatchee primarily to golf. Non golfers in the group do other activities.
The location is perfect & the view is spectacular. You will love this place.

Our second times staying at this breathtaking place. The best management and hosts. I almost gave up on renting vacation properties on VRBO, we had the worst house and customer service 2 years ago until we found this gem . We love love love this place, love how nice and responsive Austin was to us. We are thanking this beautiful family for sharing their gorgeous house, and letting us built so many happy memories with our family and friends. Great host, beyond beautiful home
This house was absolutely stunning! It boasted a large floor plan, clean space, lots of amenities, and had great attention to detail in every room. Perfect for family get togethers with a relaxing atmosphere and an amazing view. Kids loved playing in the pool all day with provided pool toys and then watching movies in the comfy theater room at night. I also can’t say enough good things about the host! Austin was great at communication with quick replies, personable, and very understanding. We couldn’t have had a better experience!! Definitely would recommend renting this house or from this host again.

Amazing memories are made here!
We have a group of families that have enjoyed spending a week together for a few years. This is by far the best property we’ve found for our group! The pool and hot tub are fantastic, and they have everything you could possibly need for a relaxing time away.
