Older home with modern updates in a great neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the appliances and bathrooms were just like the advertised pictures, new and easy to operate. The big back yard was nice, as we enjoyed our evenings out there playing with our small dog.
The neighborhood was nice and centrally located to all of our activities. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property after our daughter graduated from the University of Utah. It looks exactly like the photos. We enjoyed the location. It was very central to everything we wanted to do. It was a lovely neighborhood and nice for walks and outdoor activities. We enjoyed the amenities such as the barbecue, movie area, and large backyard.

This is a lovely house in an incredibly convenient location with downtown only about 15 min away. Nearby Sugar House Park is really nice for a walk, whether you walk or drive there. The neighborhood is beautiful and, although the street is busy, the house is very quiet and the backyard is lovely and quite large. The interior is beautifully updated – the bathrooms and kitchen are really nice. Although we did not cook a lot (there are so many great restaurants), we found the kitchen well stocked. The laundry facilities were most appreciated. All in all, a spectacular find for us and we highly recommend it for a wonderful stay.

This property was perfect - great location. Super safe neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen and loved sectional sofa downstairs… comfy place to hang with our family.

We loved this house! so great to have multiple spaces, three washrooms, and a great kitchen. Everything was comfortable and we all were able to sleep very well. Super convenient location, good parking and a wonderful back yard for enjoying the snow. Karen was responsive and helpful. Lots of books, games and art to keep you entertained.
Small note that the side door is a bit challenging to navigate and should be done carefully. Steps going up and down and an inward-opening door. Overall, totally fine and understandable with older houses but notable when carrying luggage. The stairs are a bit shallow.

The property was very nice and was accurately represented. We would stay at the property again.

The home is in a great neighborhood & the neighbors friendly. The street is busy at times. The location is convenient. The side door is the entrance and is extremely tight with 3 steps leading to the main floor and immediately to the right is the steep & narrow stairwell to the basement. The entry door swings into a very small landing. This stairwell does not have a handrail although on 7/28/22 the host said one would be installed. The basement ceiling is very low. The upper floor handrail should be secured. We ate at the property often. The kitchen could be stocked better and the skillets are hard to clean. It has a 2 slice toaster when the house sleeps 8+. The coffee maker still had the grounds that were moldy. The dining chairs were in need of repair. The propane BBQ was a good unit. We were 4 adults and all had allergy issues while in the house. They subsided within an hour of going out and about, only to return within an hour of reentering the house. Once we arrived, we realized that the rate was discounted for August. We had booked and paid for this rental 8 months prior. When we contacted the host to request that discount amount be refunded since our stay was in August, we were told we should have waited to book at the last minute to get the discount as she does these last minute discounts all the time. She seemed upset that we would inquire about the discount and denied it.

Artistic home located in a fabulous family centered and accessible location. Karen, the property manager was responsive to questions quickly and efficiently. Sugar House district is nice, park with in walking district and view of the mountains in all directions. Great food and drink options a short Uber ride away. Recommend a trip up to Park City for a great dining experience with spectacular views. Overall, even tho there on business, I enjoyed Salt Lake City and this house.

Took a few times for the deadbolt to finally unlock. Once inside it was apparent the pictures gave the house a MUCH more spacious feel. It is very cramped with tight sharp corners. The yard is shown as large and private. It is not private at all and the sprinklers were on from when we arrived around 4 p.m. until it was dark so there was not an opportunity for us and our dog to even hang out outside in the one night we stayed. We were stuck in a cramped house for the evening when it was just beautiful outside. The house shows an available rooftop area however you don't know that you can't sit up there until after you have reserved the house. On top of the cleaning fee we were charged to basically stay from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m., there is a list of chores for the guests to complete as well. We won't go back.

The house location was ideal for us. We have family in the area and we were able to entertain them.
Just a few things concerned us and made us feel as though the property wasn’t prepared for our group of 8 adults however they were quickly addressed by the property manager.
Heads up, the upstairs room does not have a bathroom. It is a stand alone room which got quite warm while we were there. It’s also quite bright in the morning.
All in all though, a lovely house and neighborhood.

Sugar House is a nice centralized location for enjoying Salt Lake. This house held our group of 6 - 8 well, but it has some funky features. The side door is used as the main entrance; it's opening is extremely tight and onto a set of stairs. Also, the 2 bedrooms and bath in the basement have very low ceilings. Anyone over 5'10" or so has to duck when downstairs.
The kitchen was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the house was quite clean. The backyard is awesome for a dog - completely fenced in.

A group of 4 of us stayed here while we were in town for a work conference. The location was convenient and parking was plentiful. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked. There are some parts of the house that are older but well maintained. The only issue we had was that the carpets seemed to have recently been cleaned but they did not thoroughly dry. The downstairs smelled strongly of mildew. Karen was an excellent host and offered to take the trash cans to the curb if we were not able to do so. We took care of it so it was not an issue. The house is charming and if I am in the area, I will certainly keep this property in mind!

We visited to attend a wedding. This home is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Street can be busy but we didn’t hear it once inside. Very clean.

Beautiful home in a great location
We fell in love with this location and enjoyed the home and neighborhood very much! Friendly neighbors, easy access to shops and restaurants, and well as a beautiful park nearby. We ended up falling down the stairs to the basement as the stairs are steep, slippery (carpet), and there is no handrail. We’d recommend adding a hard rail for increased safety but otherwise this is an excellent option in Salt Lake’s premiere neighborhood!!!

Sugar House - SLC
Property was clean, great beds, plenty of linens for the stay.
A little trouble checking in as I had to reach out to the Host to get the key code to gain access the day of (I was hoping the host would have been more proactive sending the code) When I reached out out, the host sent the code within 20 minutes.
Overall a great place.

Great Place
We found this place kind of last minute, but it was in a cozy neighborhood and was everything we needed. We were there on a work trip so we weren't at the house for very long, but it was a great place to come home to after work and relax. The only things we didn't like is that there is no bathroom upstairs. This is obvious in the listing, but the person who slept upstairs said it was an inconvenience to have to come downstairs every time he needed to use the bathroom. Over all, it was a 5 star experience. Thank you!

Great Spot!
Loved our stay here. Can’t beat the location — such easy access to the Canyons, Park City, or downtown SLC. Kitchen was great and sleeping arrangements for family visitors were perfect. Artwork the owner has collected from around the world is eclectic and adds to the charm of the home. We originally were a bit concerned about not having a TV/monitor on the first floor for the 3+ weeks we were there, but in hindsight it was a blessing in disguise. Allowed us to unplug and relax while we listened to tunes and played cards. Karen was a great property manager. We didn’t really need anything but she was very helpful with questions and instructions. Would definitely recommend.

Cute Property at a Great Location
We enjoyed our short stay at the property. We appreciated the upgrades in the kitchen and bathroom. It was eclectically decorated. The linens were of good quality. The only thing to note is the basement has low ceilings. Would recommend.

Dirty, cold & a hazard
We live in SLC & are remodeling our house, so we needed a place to stay for 17 days.
Pros:
Prior to check in Karen was very responsive & helpful.
We asked to check in earlier and were allowed to check in at 2 vs. 4pm.
The appliances in the kitchen are great & there were lots of essentials like salt, pepper, etc.
The basement has a gas fireplace and a great big TV.
The backyard is big, we didn’t use it because there are no sitting areas, but for people with dogs or kids it is nice to have.
The washer and dryer are large and efficient.
The basement book cases are filled with books & board games as well.
Cons:
The house was very dirty, from VERY dusty blinds that made us cough, to lots of dust under the beds, dusty drawers to put away clothes, dusty lamps, etc. The mattress cover in the MB had hair in it, not just a couple but very noticeable. The main floor bathroom had yellow and brown stains in the wall by the toilet...
The house has a musty smell throughout. At first we thought it was just a matter of opening windows, but the smell would not go away, in fact, after we left, the smell stayed in our clothes.
The couch in the basement had sections that smelled like awful B.O.
The dirtiness was particularly disappointing because in the description they made it a point to say they wash duvets between stays. I can’t say for sure wether they do or not, but based on the state of everything else, I would guess that it is unlikely.
In addition, this place has extremely poor insulation, the master bath and MB were freezing; even with the heat set at 70 degrees! So much so that sometimes we took showers in the basement bathroom.
Even though all the above was bad in itself; the most frustrating was the basement clearance issue. The ceiling in the basement has several sections that are very low. My husband is 6’1 so tall but not too tall. He could not fully stand in several basement areas and as he walked by the lower areas he HIT HIS HEAD repeatedly, one time even bleeding (he is fine). You can’t avoid going to be basement because that is where the only TV is and the washer/dryer. That was a hazard and hosts should be required to explain this in the description so that guests can decide whether to take the risk!. Also when I found the place dirty I notified Karen, who offered no apology and offered to have someone come clean mid stay AND WE’D have to PAY for it. After that, it was clear to us that our stay was not a priority at all for her.

Nice place
This is a nice place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Has coffee maker, microwave, comes with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Comes with all towels. I could not find an iron or hair dryer but I may just have missed them. Has plenty of hangers available in the closet. The downstairs tv room was roomy. I slept in the master room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The backyard was large, great for a dog but low fences on one neighbors side. The only thing I wasn’t super happy about was after booking to get an email stating I would be charged 300.00 if they find any dog poop in the backyard. I was scared to turn my back on my dog or leave him in the backyard alone just in case I missed a number 2. I always pick up the poop but was worried if I may miss one, as my dog is small. So I never let him have fun in the backyard alone. Other than that the place was great.

The house was perfect for the five of us offering a private bedroom and bath for each on different levels. It made for a great vacation to all be together after a long separation due to Covid and still each have some privacy. We loved the neighborhood. A beautiful area to walk around and view all of the fabulous homes and landscaping. The house also has a big backyard that was perfect for our service dog,We were very centrally located to enjoy many restaurants and stores within a 15 minute drive. There's also a nice park just a short distance away. The home was very clean and well appointed. The manager was quick to respond to any request and checking in and out was a breeze.
