We had a very large group which can be difficult when trying to accommodate everyone. This home did that easily giving everyone their own space including bathroom. The kitchen was great and easily accommodated meals for our large group. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the kids loved being able to swim whenever they wanted to. The adults loved the pool and the hot tub after a day of hanging out with the kids. We had such a great time at the home hanging out in the upstairs living room playing games watching TV and just hanging out together. The outside decks allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather we had all week. We were a few short blocks from the beach. Some of us chose to walk to the beach While others drove to carry all of the beach equipment to the beach but either way it was very close to the house and a beautiful beach access the beach was not crowded. We had a great time and I would definitely rent this place again

This is a great home, lots of room for guests. We had a couple of slight issues that were fixed immediately. Customer service was spot on. Definitely will come back again.

The house was nice, and it fit a large number of people for our family reunion comfortablly. Overall I have very free complaints, and none of them were bad enough to disrupt our vacation.
My complaints are as follows.
There was considerable wear and tear. The carpets were in desperate need of cleaning, the paint on the dining table was old and chipping. There were scratches from dogs on the inside of most bedroom doors.
Water pressure in the third floor king bedroom was horrible. There wasn't enough pressure to wash/rinse my hair. It took forever to warm up, and it never got hot.
The queen beds were very small and should not have been considered queens.
The pool was one unable to be heated despite the description saying it could be.
The house was considerably more expensive than similar houses, presumably because it allowed events. If it wasn't for that we would not have rented it, and will not rent it again unless we need to host another large event.

Pool was dirty and the hot tub is falling apart
Towel rack was Broke 2nd floor
Tub stop up second floor
Refrigerator does not get cold
The grill igniter didn’t work
Bottom floor smell like mold in the bunkbed room with bathroom .we could not used the pool no one came to service the pool we had to eat out every day because the Refrigerator couldn’t keep food cold I spoke with Nancy and destiny about a refund have not heard back from them. The stereos do not work. The room with 2 single beds the bed is broken my kid scraped her leg on it when it fell thru had to support it with a suit case for the stay. Don’t ask about the pull out bed couch’s the mattress are dry rotted. Lineings were left behind never picked up we had to deal with that all week. We paid 12k for this place and it was the worst experience ever dont call them and ask to see if everything got corrected. They will lie . Be cause I call in December of 2021 about a review from August 2021 and they assured me that I would not have any issues. LIES. I would never stay there again. PLEASE STAY AWAY from Pelican Pines

Cleanliness was the largest downfall. Bags of linens left for the entire week under steps, dirty fork on floor and some surfaces had food stains. The house in general was excellent distance from the beach! Our very large family enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the pool!

This property was perfect for us especially with the sand volleyball court. We heated the pool and it was just wonderful. Plenty of extra quite spots in the house that our family of 16 had a great vacation.

Overall Okay
It’s a 10min walk from beach or the bay side. Property is older but maintained. Not enough kitchen/bar supplies for group of 18. But can be managed.

Lots of room
It was a great place to spend a rainy cloudy cold weekend in May. Kids enjoyed the heated pool while adults relaxed in the hot tub.

Highly Recommend
The house was clean and as pretty and spacious as in the pictures! The wifi worked phenomenally which was great for those who had to work a few days from home. Also, not pictured, is a fantastic sand volleyball court which we thoroughly enjoyed!! Would highly recommend and definitely plan on coming back.

C & Sky
To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I would not rent this house again. The house was dirty. I cleaned the stove, microwave and kitchen cabinets. Covid cleaning protocols were not evident. Broken beds, missing shower curtains, no coffee pot, steps to bunk bed were not secure. Bedding for one of the bunk beds was moldy. The towels were wet because they were left out in the rain. The umbrella to the table out by the pool was broken. I called several times and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager never returned my calls. A service man came to unclog the toilet and replace batteries in the smoke alarms and give us a new coffee maker. Promised to address the broken bed but it was never resolved. Sorry Vacasa, your company left a lot to be desired and the house was neglected.

Vacasa Rental
Very disappointed in Vacasa agency. Although C & Sky 4003 was a very nice home and the set up was great, there were several maintenance issues. We could not get into the home until after 5:30pm,so most of day 1 was lost. Our original paperwork when we booked had 4pm check-in, right before vacation we received notice of a 5pm check-in. We had access to pool area but all our perishables were in a hot car and could not unload cars until cleaning staff was done. Vacuum cleaner was not working properly when cleaning staff was there. Then dirty vacuum put in the master bedroom closet. Mop and broom in pantry closet, which smelled. First day shower - two showers were clogged, maintenance came that afternoon and unclogged. Why wasn't this noticed when cleaned? We called Vacasa office 3 days in a row asking when the pool would be cleaned. We removed gum from pool and other debris was in pool as well as sand. It was like that when we arrived. Each day we were told they would put a ticket in and get back to us-never got back to us. Two of those call days, I mentioned that the chlorine tablets were almost gone. Day 3 call I was told they had to call another office and that person was out for 2 days. Told her that was not our problem and we are now half way through our vacation and still a dirty pool.
It looked like they may have dropped new chlorine tablets that day, but never cleaned the pool. That was our entire vacation-no pool cleaning and clearly was not cleaned before we arrived. Another day, outlets in kitchen did not work, this can happen and maintenance came twice that day to repair. The stovetop was severely cracked and had a hole in the cooktop which meant you had to be careful to not completely shatter the cooktop or let anything go into the hole. On Wednesday I got a call to notify us that they would be bringing in a new stove on Friday (last day of vacation). I called back and asked that they do not replace the stove on our last day as I am sure there is plenty of dirt under the old stove and we did not want to deal with all that on our last day. Also went over the pool issues and asked if someone could please call back. Never received a call back. The stove did not arrive on Friday, but we never received a confirmation. Found a dirty diaper under one of the beds, we did not have anyone in our group that used diapers so who knows when that was from.
The house is lovely but the management was terrible.

Displeased with the condition of this house
Not very clean, the walls in one of the bathrooms was filthy. No Wifi, which was a problem because one of the guests is taking online classes and had to log on Sunday and Wednesday. No liners in most of the bathtubs. Not sure if the owners are not keeping up with the house as it's for sale or they're not aware of the condition. Will not rent this home in the future.

We are 4 families who vacation together year after year, with kids ages ranging from 11-22. The home was nice for the variety of areas it offered as hang out spaces within the house. The bedroom spaces were great and most rooms had its own bath. Kitchen was big two dishwashers are a plus!

Great location
We loved this home, the location and the variety of areas to hang out. We are 4 families with kids ranging from 11-22 so having different spaces was important. The pool is great (would have loved to have access to the pool side bathroom, be sure to ask for a key for that) We loved the bar area by the pool and had a lot of fun hanging out there. Proximity to the beach was great and the beach is just amazing. Would definitely return!

Rooms were small. Some bedrooms did not have a TV, would have been nice to have TV's in the rooms. Overall, a great property!

Will come back again
We really enjoyed our stay. It accommodated our big family. We specially love the location. Very quiet neighborhood and so close to the beach. We very much like the pool and hot tub. There were minor fixings but maintenance came right away. We would love to go back and stay again. Would recommend this place to anyone planning to visit the OBX.
