Ruhig.

Perfect location on the edge of town, two minutes from the centre. Wonderful, helpful staff. Luis was great! The "Double room with mountain view" was really a great view!

The location is good, easy walk to the center of town. The rooftop spaces are nice, the view from the top is beautiful. The lady who seemed to be in charge was very friendly. The whole place was clean.
We had the Family Room. It is right at street level, the walls are paper thin, and the noise of dogs barking and motorcycles and people going by sounded like it was right in the room. Very hard to sleep. The hot water was tepid at best, no hot at all in the sink. The toilet was broken and we had to pull the chain to lift the plunger manually. We pointed this out and it was repaired, lasted for 2 flushes. The power cut out a number of times, not good for our food in the fridge. The AC was good when it worked but it didn't work consistently. The drain in the shower backed up an inch of bubbles that covered the shower floor regularly. Possibly when they were running the washer? It was a lot of bubbles and not appealing. Bottom line, do NOT stay in the family room.

The couple that ran this hotel are very accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Location was very close to town but far enough away that it was not too noisy. Safe neighbourhood to walk around in lots of restaurants close by.

I loved everything about this place. It's cozy, very clean, confortable, calm and perfect for relaxation and a good night of sleep. The location is excellent, right in the center but in a calm street.
Laura is a great host, very helpful with everything. You can tell she works really hard to keep the place spotless and the clients happy.

Good breakfast, nice view from the terrace. Good WiFi. Hammocks in a common area.
The room was like a prison cell, very basic, with the only window exposed to the common area - no sunlight or no privacy. Poor acoustic, it was very loud from the corridor. Difficult to find the place.

The accommodation was lovely - very nice little pool, great terrace with hummingbirds and a beautiful view. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was also very nice! The location was very handy to town.

De tweede kamer waarin we verbleven was het bed erg hard.

Tout! La gentillesse du personnel, l’emplacement (au calme), le coin piscine-bar, la chambre, la clim, le petit-déjeuner. Parfait !

Spacious private room with air con with towels provided
Reliable wifi throughout the hostel
Lovely rooftop with views across Santa Marta to the Caribbean shores
Good breakfast included in the room rate
Good location close to main restaurants/hiking trail starting points
The only negative I have is it is hard to find at first if using google maps as it is behind some restaurants in a residential street that maps doesn’t pick up correctly. The hostel is not sign posted from the street so I had to ask around for a little while before I was pointed in the right direction

Location to town was great. AC was excellent!! Pool available , laundry, honor bar w cerveza and sodas and water. Quiet.

I stayed here with my buddy in a 2 bed room. The space was adequate.
The A/C was phenomenal and is a necessity in Minca.
The location was near the town center, but still a 6min uphill walk away. This meant it was quiet at night and afforded a small view of the mountains from the upper floor / restaurant area above the pool.
The pool area was nice. The hammocks were clean and comfortable. The pool was about 5.5ft deep, which is deeper than most Colombian pools. The pool water was clean and refreshing.
The owners are very nice.
The space was adequate, but the room was not the updated version shown in the photos. It was too basic for what they charged.
The room had 2 full sized beds, a mini fridge on the floor, and a crude set of unfinished wooden shelves.
The bathroom was small, the toilet was loud and constantly leaked onto the floor. I let them know right away, but they did not fix it while we were there.
The mini fridge did not work very well and could not be adjusted.
Neither the bar nor the restaurant opened during our stay, but we were kindly reminded at check-in (and it is stated in the description) that breakfast was not included. This was fine as there's plenty of food to be had in town.

Good location, close to the centre for eating out and doing activities. Decent sized room and the air con was fantastic. Communal spaces of the pool and the roof terrace with hummingbird feeders were both lovely.
The bathroom wasn't very clean.

The staff (especially Aura) is very friendly, the pool is nice and the area is nicely decorated. The room was spacious, though a bit basic. Just a couple minutes walking to the main street of Minca (and drop-off from collectivos from Santa Marta). Quiet at night. Relatively warm shower, which was very welcome after two weeks of cold showers.
Some small drawbacks/suggestions. The bathroom had a yeasty smell and the drain was clogged. The airco wasn’t adjustable and was always on (luckily not on ice cold setting). The bed and pillows was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel can do nothing about this, but the street was very dirty with dog poop.

Several common areas to use. A pool to escape the heat, and a convenient way to get drinks. Air con in the room kept things cool, with a hot shower. Good breakfast
Some power outages when we were showering. Simple room without much natural light

Good location, quiet, clean, friendly and helpful staff who helpfully booked us a taxi to the airport for the morning (100,000 COP), nice breakfast.
The staff do not speak much english, but we managed with google translate

Our family room is spacious for five, so just two of us have got too many beds. Aircon is powerful, bathroom is big too. Everything is very clean.
The pool is very nice after a hot walk or back from a tour. Perfect for cooling down.
Nice view from the terrace with one side Santa Marta the other side Minca. Humming birds come to the feeders are not afraid of people because they are too busy fighting against each other. Super cute.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a good bargain and handy.
We had one night of power cut, luckily it was not hot. Make sure your phone is always fully charged. WiFi works well.
Location is pretty good. 5 minutes walk to the village center but still with many restaurants and shops nearby. Cars can reach the front gate of the hotel too.
We enjoyed Minca very much. Moto taxi to the Victoria Coffee Farm and early morning birdwatching tours are a lot of fun.

Excellent place to stay. We stayed in the mountain view private double room. It was really comfortable - big comfy bed, AC, smart TV, shower with hot water, nice view. The pool is great to cool off in, the bar is well stocked and the rooftop terrace is great for sunset.

This is a small, family-run place. Francisco and his wife were very friendly. The location is great, just up a hill from the center of town. Pretty quiet at night, which is not easy to find as the town can be noisy, especially on weekends. Very convenient to walk to the various restaurants in town for lunch and dinner. Beautiful view from the double room with mountain view and from the breakfast area.
Breakfast was basic but ok, eggs and some fruit and coffee. I don't eat gluten, dairy or beans, but if you do you could have toast and beans too. There was no gluten-free bread but they made me a fried patacon (plantain) as a substitute and that was good. I wish someone had told me right away that juice isn't included but that I could pay a little extra for it. When I asked, they made it for me, well worth it. I love the fresh juices in Colombia! They recommended a neighbor as a guide for private tours which was great. The air conditioning and the hot shower worked very well. The pool is small but almost big enough to do short laps and is very refreshing.

Everything to the little details was just phenomenal. The location, the view, the staff, the perfect pool, modern rooms, just absolutely everything was amazing and I would recommend it for everyone!!
literally nothing..

Lovely place to stay with a pool, quiet at night.
We had the family room and you are right on the street so can be noisy during the day. Wi-Fi excellent.
Had to keep asking questions as they just opened the door to our room and didn’t tell us anything.

The woman who welcomed me was so nice and warm. On my second morning I wasn't feeling very well and she took such good care of me. It's a small place, but lovely view from the terrace, good bed and again: amazing staff!
