Fabulous location with wonderful views, friendly staff, hummingbirds on the balcony and the views from the balcony and pool really special.

Beautiful old convent converted into a hotel that is close to everything in Minca.

Location
Shower water just dripped, hot water was intermittent. The bed was uncomfortable, sheets contantly coming off. Bugs ate me alive.

Friendly, helpful staff. Located right in town centre, but isolated enough for quiet nights. Well designed, comfortable (even if a bit small) room. Great facilities to relax outside (although the swimming pool is tiny - but then, who needs a swimming pool when you have the river?). Good breakfast on the terrace watching the hummingbirds.
swimming pool is tiny - maybe disappointing or those who want it. I didn’t need it.

The room and the service and the location were excellent.
Very good wifi
Everything was excellent, except that the last night I went to the restaurant for dinner and it was inexplicably closed, even though they had told me it was open every night. It was too late to go out anywhere. They did allow me to have a wine though. #wineandchocolatefordinner
Also, the pool was not very clean. Mostly leaves but still ok.

Great restaurant terrace overlooking the hills, with hummingbirds. Relaxing pool and terrace area, and comfortable bed. Nice traditional building with hammocks dotted around. Very peaceful during the day. Helpful and friendly staff, and very central location for accessing Minca's bars and restaurants. Private path down to the river for a secluded dip.
Our room, a triple with a king-size and single, only had a mosquito net over the large bed, making the single somewhat unusable for our daughter.
Can be noisy at night if nearby venues choose to play loud music.
Not the hotel's fault, but a local power cut on our first day/night meant we had no air conditioning or fan overnight, leaving the room swelteringly hot. The hotel used their backup generator during the day but unfortunately had to turn it off overnight.

breakfast could have been a bit better as I haven’t had tang juice in a long time. fresh juice would be soooo much better

The location is great - amazing views from the restaurant balcony and pool area. Bathroom looked outdated, but this was the best shower we've had in Colombia - hot water, good water pressure, and spacious.
The property is very dated and needs some TLC. Mosquito net full of holes and too small for bed. No air-conditioning, just a fan that didn't work very well, so room was very hot. Leaky toilet, towels smelt clean but appeared dirty/stained. Loungers and chairs in communal areas in need of repairs. There was a lot of noise from nearby bars until midnight and then noise from other guests chatting till late in communal areas - take ear plugs. Breakfast didn't seem very fresh. It felt quite overpriced compared to all the other hotels we have stayed at in Colombia, but I guess you are paying for the location.

Good communication in advance, arranged taxi from airport and on to next destination. Excellent location, basic but comfortable accommodation

Good location, good food for lunch and a nice location next to the village with a nice view from the pool and the balcony with a lot of kolibris.
This hotel clearly has know better times, it is a nice building but definitely needs maintenance. It also seems understaffed because there is nobody raming care of the pool which was full of leave (we had to clean ourselves before swimming) and after 20 they close the reception and dining area and then there is nobody. The staff also did not seen to enjoy their jobs because there were hardly any smiles on their faces. There was a power outage during one night so we were in the dark and no fans so hot in our room. And then there is nobody form the staff around and not an emergency generator which you could expect from a hotel in this price range. I was in a small family run hotel in Minca before and that was half the price and much better.

Friendly staff
Great location
Great scenery around
The water generator was right beside my room and was kinda loud

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good - just outside Minca but close enough to be in town in a couple of minutes. Watching the hummingbirds while eating breakfast was lovely.
The room was badly in need of decorating and the bathroom needed complete refurbishment- no hot water in the basin and the shower taps were very strange. The whole building needs work doing to it.

Good location with an wonderful deck for hummingbird viewing

Perfect location in Minca!
Based on the pictures on Booking I had higher expectations. The room is old and a bit smelly. It is an accomodation with high potential, but renovations or maintenance is needed.

Views are stunning. The restaurant has an amazing terrace. The location is perfect. Secluded but still very close to the main street. The hot water is really hot!
The only thing is the Wifi was horrible in the room.

The hotel is located close to town, with a pretty view and nice birds. Everything else was quite bad at this run down hotel. If it had been a cheap hotel, that's one thing, but we paid over $100 for a "family" room. I would avoid this hotel.
This is a dirty, loud, run down, overpriced hotel. It may have been a decent place years ago, but we were sorely disappointed. The bathroom was very dirty; the shower didn't drain; the shower curtain fell down; the throw carpets were riddled with dirt and stains; the beds were uncomfortable, the glassless windows ensured that roosters and dogs woke us from 3 am until breakfast time; the incredibly loud other guests could be heard talking loudly at all hours; the pool was too dirty to swim in... the list goes on.

Nice location with great view and Kolibris on the terrace. Comfortable bed.
Bathroom was dirty and shower had almost no water. The pool wasn't clean so I didn't want to use it

Location was perfect . Close to the centre but felt like we were away from the buzz.
The pool wasn't usable and the main reason we booked this hotel. Also wifi was dodgy. For us this wasn't a problem but a member of our group needed to work.

Staff are super friendly! The breakfast was simple but very good and the view from the deck and the pool is quite special! And the hot water and water pressure was a welcome treat!
A few mosquitoes in the common areas at night. But no problem in the rooms!

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, good coffee and great location.
The pool was really cold.
