A lovely stay in a warm, welcoming country inn.

Excellent choice of hot and cold breakfast options. Freshly prepared cooked breakfast piping hot. Didn’t need any lunch!

Great stay, exceptional food!!!!!!!

The rooms are lovely, very clean, good quality furnishings and fittings , very comfortable. Nice to have the log fires in the bar area. The staff were great, very helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, so much so that we have booked to stay again. Highly recommend!

Great place to stop if you’re passing Wetherby!

Property was ‘quaint’ and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were also first rate and made us feel very much at home.

Enjoyable experience, would return

Food excellent, most of the staff very good, good walking area

Need to allocate a little more time and attention to the accommodation. No water or shower gel in bedroom and bathroom, blind fell down and no light bulb in lamp. Time to revamp bedroom. £160 a room is a lot

The staff are very welcoming and super friendly and helpful , it was a very nice spacious and cosy and well presented room , the evening dinner was exceptional 👌 and so was the morning breakfast , its a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area 😀

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Tickled Trout!

Quaint country pub with really comfortable bedrooms and a friendly welcome. Fantastic breakfast too. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Private balcony was great Room fantastic ,especially the big bathroom.Breakfast was superb ....Lovely countryside position ....

Nothing to not like.Only grumble,if you are not keen on fish and red meat ,you would find it difficult to choose anything on the menu Maybe a chicken dish would be good

Property full of charm and character in lovely quiet location. first class range of excellent food.

provision of a dressing gown for use following soak in lovely bath. No hook to hang clothes in bathroom, or shelf for products in shower.

Struck Lucky with this One

We booked very last minute without time for any of the usual research. What a find, everything about The Tickled Trout was exceptional from check-in to check out. The Inn is situated in a lovely, quiet rural village and has ample parking. The selection of beers is extensive, and likewise, the food menu has something for everyone. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous.

There is nothing about The Tickled Trout that we didn't like, and we hope to return to stay again later this year.

Comfortable and characterful place to stay and eat.

The room was very comfortable with a spacious balcony and beautiful bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Lovely walks with our dog in stunning countryside.

Fantastic food, comfortable room and brilliant Yorkshire hospitality!

We booked an evening meal too. The menu was interesting and varied - it was almost to hard to choose. The food we had was fabulous - if we didn’t live so far away we would go back regularly. The staff offered a fantastic Yorkshire welcome. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge and supplied with everything you needed. Our breakfast was of similar quality to the previous evenings meal. It was a lucky find and we would definitely return if we were up that way in the future.

Fabulous little find!!

we stayed for one night early April. The whole experience was great, the atmosphere of the Inn is very welcoming & the staff are all friendly & very efficient. our evening meal was delicious & our breakfast was superb! The room was immaculately clean & very comfortable! we will definitely recommend & most certainly return! thank you 😊

Excellent restaurant. Nice pub atmosphere.

Room lacked electric sockets and was rather cold. Shower leaked. Overall, we felt that the room was overpriced.
