Stunning is an understatement. Waking up in that beautiful place to that beautiful view was amazing, i am sure its even better in the summer. Clean, modern, spacious and beautiful. The hot tub was beautiful but does take 3-4 hours to heat up which is rather annoying if you have been out all day, but thats exactly what a wood burning hot tub is. We will be returning next year ! Thank you

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Melcombe farm. The location is in a quiet area of the farm close to the Wessex Ridgeway. Facilities were first class. Every detail had been well thought out and planned. The wildlife with owls stags hares coming close to the accommodation was a nice treat. The local pub in Ansty was very welcoming for food and drink. We will be back.

A wonderful property in an idyllic setting, very peaceful, no traffic noise and very little light pollution, just right for star gazing. The hot tub we lovely, but takes some time to heat up, so get it going nice and early. The bed was very comfortable and the shower nice and powerful. All the equipment was of an excellent quality, the sofas were lovely but needed plenty of cushions behind you as they were very deep. Our only suggestion would be the addition of an EV charger, as it’s an eco retreat, we’d have been very happy to pay for the electric it used and it would have been much more convenient as the accommodation is quite a distance from the nearest chargers. If you are looking for somewhere with peace and quite this is a really great option.

Overall we don't have enough good things to say about Bramble! When we arrived the house looked lovely - modern but in keeping with the surroundings. The silence when we got out of the car really struck us - as suburb dwellers we never get quiet quite like this. Apart from the birds and cows - but those are the sounds you love to hear!
The house itself was spotless when we got in - it looked practically brand new. We had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen and a lovely welcome hamper. The wifi worked well (important to us), the TV had all the streaming services, the bed was incredibly comfortable and so were the sofas.
We didn't get a chance to use the wood burner as the weather was great, but we did use the hot tub on 4 nights. We were prepared for this not being like a 'normal' hot tub as it took some time to heat, but that's the only 'warning' I'd give - you'll need a few hours for it to heat the first time. But this was no problem for us and we loved sitting in it and enjoying the incredible view.
Overall we highly highly recommend Bramble as a base for your Dorset stay. Particular highlights for us were a lovely lunch at The New Inn in Cerne Abbas and a great dinner at the Thimble Inn in Piddlehinton. (We like our food!) Thank you for a really wonderful stay.

We love it here! The views alone are to die for but Bramble is beautiful too - really well equipped, super comfortable beds, dreamy bathrooms and the welcome hamper was delicious. Bramble is far more than just a base for us on holiday. We didn't leave for the first 2 days! We love spending time in the garden and playing with our children in the sun. We will definitely be back

The stay we had at Bramble was perfect! It is designed and furnished to a really high standard. We had the dreamiest pre-Christmas break reading by the log burning fire in the day and star-gazing in the hot tub at night.
The local area has a lovely pub called The Fox Inn which does great food. The local farm shops helps you stock up on any extra supplies you need and the hamper you get when you arrive, including local produce is so lovely.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Delightful Dorset Hideaway
Bramble Eco Lodge provided a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet, the spectacular views and the superb quality of fixtures and fittings made for the perfect holiday retreat. Thoughtful features such as the generous welcome hamper and the hot tub only added to the pleasure of our stay. I cannot recommend Bramble too highly!

Excellent, will visit again.
Beautiful views, lovely cottage, photos do not do justice to the place. Met both the owners who were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately because of the weather we could not take advantage of the hot tub. I have recommended this place to my friends and we will visit again.

Amazing, cannot fault it!
We had the most amazing time at Bramble. It was cosy, modern, and everything went according to plan. The property managers were so helpful which made it an even more enjoyable stay. I wish I could go back tomorrow and stay there for a month! I cannot recommend Bramble enough.

Enjoyable short stay
The location of Bramble is fabulous if you are looking for a proper retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle. The views from the lodge were nothing less than spectacular!
The lodge itself was lovely, modern , clean were designed and very spacious. The wood fired hot tub, wood burner, utility room with washing machine were lovely extras and the bathrooms had some great high end finishes.
My only request would be for new sofas, one was particular lumpy and uncomfortable which was such a shame considering all the other furniture was tastefully chosen and in excellent condition.
I would definitely return as it was such an idyllic spot!

Wow what a place!
Wow what a place to stay! The bramble is absolutely beautiful! It was immaculately clean throughout, and the views were breathtaking especially at sunset. We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not of wished for a better staycation the location was ideal being just a short scenic drive from Lulworth Cove and Durdle door which were both lovely places to visit. Waking up to the view of cows out the back of the lodge was a great addition, and watching the sunset in the wood fired hot tub was so relaxing. We had the best time overall and the Bramble lodge being as beautiful as it was definitely helped. We are currently working out when we can book for our next stay.

Wow!
What can I say? This property was sensational! It had everything we needed and more! The views are incredible and you are only a 50 minute drive from local beaches. It is also only a 15 minute scenic walk to the local pub! The hot tub was a great feature and, because of the weather, we used it as a cold tub! The facilities within the place are great with a washing machine and iron too!
We thoroughly enjoyed driving back to the property each day. It was comfortable, relaxing and I will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Bramble!
We lucked out finding Bramble when searching for a staycation earlier in the year. The photos are amazing but they really don't do it justice. Such a peaceful location, beautifully furnished, and wow - the views are incredible. We couldn't hear a single car, just the occasional tractor going down the track (which our 1 year old loved!). We enjoyed looking out over the cows and relaxing in the hot tub late into the evening. There are 3 cottages next to eachother but you wouldn't think it because they feel so private. We will definitely be back!

Most amazing, clean, beautiful cottage!
Stayed here for a long weekend with my boyfriend. The view was absolutely incredible and we loved the cows in the fields next to us. The house was absolutely spotless and we loved the fact they provided us with local tea and shortbread biscuits and milk etc to get us started!
We had the best time and loved the hot tub too.

Great accommodation in a wonderful setting
We all loved Bramble! It’s such a well designed space which was warm and welcoming even on wet and cold days. We liked all the furnishings as well as the kitchen and bathrooms which were modern and well equipped. The view from the patio windows was wonderful and when the weather improved we thoroughly enjoyed the use of the terrace and hot tub. The location was perfect - quiet with easy access to numerous footpaths and only a five minute drive from the local pub and shop. We plan to book again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay
Brambles is a beautiful place to stay.
The finish is very high quality.
The hot tub is just wonderful with the most beautiful views across rolling countryside.
A very peaceful place.
The fox Inn pub in Ansty village is a fantastic pub offering fantastic food and a fab Sunday roast..you can walk to it but it is over a field footpath but only few mins to drive.
I would highly recommend Brambles for a peaceful environment to stay.
Will definitely visit again.

The views and the peace and quiet of this location were just perfect.
This was matched by the facilities of the property and the friendliness of the owners.
Everything you could need was in the property and a lovely welcome pack.
We’ll set out and very comfortable.

An amazing place!
Well what can we say. Another lockdown and we thankfully managed to escape to the Bramlble lodge on the first day of lockdown easing, so our hopes were high. To say we were blown away was an understatement. The lodge itself was breath taking. Beautifully designed, open, full of light and spacious. The eco touches were such a wonderful touch and being new to eco heating solutions we were impressed by the consistent and comfortable temperature at all times. Great spec and appliances throught and imaginative and effective use of zone lighting. We used the lodge as our base for coastal path walking and managed nearly 50 miles over our 4 night stay. This was only made possible by the incredible wood fired hot tub which rejuvinated us each evening in preparation for the next trek. A lovely touch that our hosts took the trouble to light the hot tub ready for our arrival and the unexpected delivery of a class bottle of local chardonnay and chocolates was the icing on the cake. To top it all off was the view which was breathtaking! An uninterrupted view of the Dorset countryside in every direction which we enjoyed every evening until the sun set, seeing deer, foxes and many, many pheasants. To top it all off the cost of this trip was reasonable to say the least. We would expect to pay double the price in Cornwall and would not expect the same standard of care and attention that we recieved. A wonderful location, property, host and experience. We will be back and will be reccommending. Lockdown has been so very hard and we wish this enterprise every success now they are back up and running. A huge thank you from us for a most wonderful and memorable stay.
